Image:Wyatt.pdf listed for deletion

[edit]

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Wyatt.pdf, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Rettetast (talk) 17:36, 4 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NowCommons: Image:Hendre.png

[edit]

Image:Hendre.png is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:Image:The Hendre 1970.png. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[Image:The Hendre 1970.png]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 12:50, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Hendre and T H Wyatt

[edit]

Hi again. You still wiki'ing? Finally decided to try to do a bit more on the Hendre, having laid off William Burges. How's the full scale Wyatt coming along? Very full listings page which must have the makings of a great article. Be great if you did it. In the interim anything on Wyatt that you might want to add to the Hendre page would be very much appreciated.

Me again, sorry, just tell me to get lost. Done some further stuff on the Hendre, in conjunction with a descendant of the family. He added a couple of very nice pictures. But the description of the house architecturally is still very thin. The secondary sources are patchy and I just don't know enough about Wyatt, or indeed Aston Webb. I could crib from John Newman (again) but it would be very good if you wanted to add something. Newman says Rolls spent £10,000 on Wyatt's work in the late 1830's. What did he get for that colossal amount of money?

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
