The article Dean Schneider has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No clear evidence of significant notability in reliable sources, article has become source of significant BLP violating edit warring over alleged animal abuse.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hemiauchenia (talk) 15:16, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

Richard M Levitan MD
regarding RICHARD M. LEVITAN, MD i just created a wiki account because i was upset to see leviathan's entry is proposed for deletion. and, sorry i'm writing you because i'm overwhelmed about how to get started with wiki.
no question, he SHOULD be on wiki, but he didn't attract much attention until nyt op piece https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/20/opinion/coronavirus-testing-pneumonia.html lots of followup—e.g. cbs this morning interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xotBTzNq8EA and twitter.
i read levitan's nyt piece with some astonishment, and immediately checked his bona fides, which are solid, dating back to a 1996 publication, sole author, A new tool for teaching and supervising direct laryngoscopy, https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1111/j.1553-2712.1996.tb03309.x his affiliation then—Emergency Medicine Department, Lincoln Hospital, Bronx'

Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Kandice Tanner. You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 16:49, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Diannaa: thank you for adding that PD notice. I usually add the template:Include-NIH. Is that sufficient? TJMSmith (talk) 17:13, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
- Yeah I think it probably is. However I did not notice it, sorry about that. And the PD-notice template combined with the citation shows the reader exactly which content was copied. That's probably better.— Diannaa (talk) 18:30, 3 May 2020 (UTC)

You will see that I changed "Nazi(s)" to "German(s)" throughout the article. My reasoning for this is that not all German soldiers were members of the Nazi party, so its use is, in my opinion, inaccurate. Please feel free to change this if you do not agree.

Speedy deletion nomination of Claudia Conway
Hello TJMSmith,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Claudia Conway for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

AfC Submission Inquiry
Hello, my Wikipedia article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juliana_Schroeder) was recently rejected because the topic was deemed as not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. You left a comment that it may be "a case of WP:TOOSOON". I just wanted to ask if this means that the content of the page could have been delivered in a way that would have made the topic appear notable, or if it means that topic of the page was not notable enough, regardless of the page contents. In the latter case, would I just have to wait until the topic of interest has gained enough notability on the internet? Further, I'd like to ask if the page will eventually be deleted, or if it will still be accessible on the site. Sorry if I'm reaching out on the wrong kind of platform, as I'm fairly new to editing on Wikipedia. Thanks in advance for your guidance. MAPPLab (talk) 07:43, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
- @MAPPLab: I believe you are doing a good job with presenting the information, but it is important to consider WP:COI and WP:PROMO. Based on her career so far, I think it's likely that she'll meet WP:N requirements at some point but not yet. Which point in WP:PROF do you believe she meets? From what I could tell, her citation record isn't high enough, she's not a named academic chair, and she is not a Fellow of a learned society. I believe drafts are automatically deleted after 6 months of zero edits. You may want to save your work off the platform if you wish to revisit. You can also request the article be undeleted here: WP:REFUND. You may find it helpful to post your questions here: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Women in Red. Women in Red is a group of new and experienced editors dedicated to creating and editing articles on women! Best, TJMSmith (talk) 12:30, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
- @TJMSmith: Hi, thanks for your clarification! When you mention a "citation record," are you referring to how "widely cited" her papers are? If such is the case, I was struggling to present her citation record, since I could only think to link Google Scholar search queries that show a list of people who have cited a given paper of Juliana Schroeder's. This seemed a bit odd, so I didn't go through with it in the draft. Is the characteristic of "widely cited" just something that an editor would research to confirm, or is there a way I can try to present the fact that Juliana Schroeder has significant citation rates? Also, to answer your question, I believe this individual mainly meets point 7, "The person has made substantial impact outside academia in their academic capacity," and I'm looking into making that clearer in my draft by mentioning the numerous conventional media articles that have cited her work in the field of social psychology. Such conventional media outlets include The New York Times, BBC, The Washington Post, TIME, and others. Do let me know what you think. Thanks again! A&W100 (talk) 18:11, 4 July 2020 (UTC)
Draft Revision
Hi! I recently made some changes to my draft of a Wikipedia page for Juliana Schroeder [1] and wanted to ask if you could proofread it, primarily with regards to evidence of notability. I added a “Media Coverage” section to the page to establish that she has been cited as an academic expert by conventional media outlets. Thanks so much for your help. A&W100 (talk) 00:28, 5 July 2020 (UTC)
- @A&W100: Hello! I am not confident that the subject passes WP:PROF but I guess you can always try submitting it again to Article for Creation and see if someone else thinks differently. You may also want to check the talk page at Women in Red to get a second opinion! All the best, TJMSmith (talk) 00:24, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Tatayanna Mitchell
A tag has been placed on Tatayanna Mitchell requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. DannyS712 (talk) 12:52, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
I revised this draft to sound encyclopedic and removed any hints of promotion. Could you please review again? Thank you. JamesC33401 (talk) 03:08, 9 July 2020 (UTC)

Just thought I'd ask: you removed my edit where I added that he uploaded a video denying the allegations, claiming that they aren't cited. Doesn't the fact that he's uploaded the video mean it is already cited? Another thing I'd like to ask: is there a reason you changed "Sanctuary owner" to "sanctuary founder"? Aren't they both basically the same thing? Redstoneprime (talk) 07:15, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Redstoneprime: A self published YouTube video is not typically considered a reliable source for a WP:BLP. Please refer to WP:BLPSPS. I thought founder was more accurate based on the sources. In this context, I suppose either (or both) could be used. TJMSmith (talk) 07:19, 26 July 2020 (UTC)

Just as a warning, stay away from the alamy image of Kee Mar College - [2] I think, although the link's not actually working: Every contemporary image I can find has it pinkish to white, I think that's a modern-day speculative colorisation of https://wvhistoryonview.org/catalog/044901 - and I wouldn't treat the colours of it as at all accurate given the lead image of the article and https://www.flickr.com/photos/frogfarm/5773726924 both argue against such colours. I think any of the other images mentioned here or on WT:WIRED are good choices. Adam Cuerden (talk)Has about 7.4% of all FPs 16:08, 18 August 2020 (UTC)

- @Adam Cuerden: not at all! They are great. Interesting to see how the grounds changed over the decades. I'm pretty sure this building was demolished at some point in the mid-20th century to build newer hospital facilities. TJMSmith (talk) 18:40, 18 August 2020 (UTC)
- I found a picture of Keedy! ...I think I might be going over the top. I did see a picture of it from the hospital period with modifications, but I'd fully believe that it was replaced at some point. Hospitals rarely want to be historic. You know I have no idea how to do this and I am hoping you can help. Can you merge this with this? I have no idea why it didn't pick up your record when I searched, but now her authority control items are not married to the article. Thank you so very much for all you do. I appreciate you and your work. SusunW (talk) 19:26, 10 October 2020 (UTC)
- @SusunW: sorry for the confusion! I merged the two Wikidata items! TJMSmith (talk) 19:40, 10 October 2020 (UTC)

I'm hoping you can help me with this one? Her wikidata item does not show in the toolbar, nor does the authority control or link to the Korean article. Any idea why or how to fix it? SusunW (talk) 16:53, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
- @SusunW: When I first looked, I saw what you were talking about (link to Korean wiki article). After I added the ISNI and KRNLK values the authority control appears on the article along with the language links. Maybe it was just delayed. Not sure but looks like it's working now. Indian american would be better than Asian American
I know that you did agree that it is true that she is Indian american, but I think putting specifics i.e Indian american would be better than Asian american in this case as our both point of views matches with the source and Indian american would also automatically mean asian american. Hope you understand my point of view. Swtadi143 (talk) 02:08, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Swtadi143: Thank you for your message and contributions! This might be better to discuss on the Harris talk page. I know there are tons of sources that describe Harris as any combination of Black, African American, Afro-Caribbean, Jamaican, Indian, Tamil, South Asian, etc. For that opening line, I thought it was important to mention that not only is she the first Indian American VP-elect, she is the first Asian American VP-elect in general. Maybe the consensus is different. I don't feel too strongly. Here is a source about it [3]. Cheers! TJMSmith (talk)
I think the vast majority of sources i.e 99% say she is first South asian american VP-elect you agree with that right? I think lets not go with your way i.e Asian american and not even my way i.e Indian american and go with a middle way which is the correct one "south asian american" and that phrase south asian american is also recognised by american government unlike Indian american.
- @Swtadi143: Hi again. I think the Harris talk page would be a better place to discuss this and seek community consensus. South Asian American wouldn't be wrong per say, but in my view, Asian American is broader and also true. It's the same reason we say African American in the sentence instead of Jamaican American or Caribbean American. All of the above are true, but I think it's best to be broader. TJMSmith (talk) 02:43, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
Yes correct, I just discussed that in harris talk page and the broader one is the correct one and I have seen plenty of use of "Asian american in politics" wikipedia page so yes you were correct! I agree, asian american is better than south asian american because first south asian american suggests that some other person of asian heritage already got first VP post but that is completely wrong and the broader term fixes it i.e asian american, thanks for discussion!

Magic wand?
I cannot seem to access the Wikidata entry for Minnie Steckel with the gadget, thus cannot add any data to it???? It isn't on the toolbar either. I know I had this happen before and you fixed it. Can I prevail on your magic again? SusunW (talk) 22:33, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
- @SusunW: I'm not seeing anything wrong but I manually updated the Wikidata entry. Hopefully that captures the info you were using the gadget for. TJMSmith (talk) 23:00, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
- Bless you. I honestly have no clue how to input stuff in wikidata without the gadget with the exception of adding VIAF. Thank you so much! SusunW (talk) 23:10, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
