Just a simple oversight. My apologies. I categorize a hundred or more templates a day. Sometimes the hand is faster than the brain. :) --WoohookittyWoohoo! 14:16, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Louis Bozon
I have nominated Louis Bozon, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Louis Bozon. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Just to let you know I have always approved of your work on winter sports and hard efforts at getting the biographies for the bobsledders up and running. You;re doing a great job. However I;m not sure we can include those who finished 21st back in the 1930s as it is unlikely they will ever be expanded ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 17:10, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Martial van Schelle
Hi Chris. You're welcome. Neat article, by the way. Did you by any chance find out exactly why the Germans arrested mr. van Schelle? Manxruler (talk) 21:31, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- That's ok. It's still a fine article. You should add an infobox, though. I think an Infobox Person would be most suitable in this case. Manxruler (talk) 21:39, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
CfD nomination of Category:Argentinain bobsledders
Category:Argentinian bobsledders, which you created, has been nominated for renaming. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at the category's entry on the Categories for discussion page. Thank you. – Good Ol’factory (talk) 23:45, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for your help
You're welcome. I understand the viewpoint of editors who think that short articles on athletes who are not well known should be deleted. I disagree for Olympic athletes and others who have competed at the top levels of an internationally recognized sport. These articles help build the web and make categories work better. Quale (talk) 20:06, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
Hi! I've seen you made this edit, but are you sure they're the same person (the Olympic bobsleigh and the Romanian national team coach)? Any source? Thank you! --necronudist (talk) 13:18, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, thank you. I'll post on the WP:FOOTBALL. But I don't think we'll know more :-) --necronudist (talk) 18:43, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Re: Food science revert
My pleasure. And thank you: it appears that you have done a lot of work on that article over the years, as well as many of the subdiscipline pages, too. Cool! κaτaʟavenoTC 14:56, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Please see WP:DATE for correct formatting instructions
Regarding your edits to Albert Castelyns, please note that per Wikipedia:DATE#Dates of birth and death, a format such as (May 2, 1917 – ?) is never acceptable. For possibly living people, please use the format (born Month, Day, Year) and add ", date of death unknown" for people who are known to be deceased, but without a specific date of death. Thank you. Cheers, CP 16:58, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Bobsleigh 1948
Hi Chris! I saw, that you have reverted my edit for the French teams here Bobsleigh at the 1948 Winter Olympics - Four-man. But according to the official report (which is the main source for all Olympic pages) France I finished ninth with the team René Charlet, Jean Morin, Jacques Descatoire, & Amédée Ronzel and France II finished 13th with the team Gilbert Achart-Picart, Felix Bonnat, Louis Saint-Calbre, & Henri Evrot. Also other sources like De Wael show the teams like this. The Bulgarian page of Todor is good but there are also some mistakes. Please allow me also to ask why you have started the article "René Charlet" without diacritic? Kind regards Doma-w (talk) 14:16, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your quick answer. There is no reason to apologize, I know, that it is no easy to deal with such a hugh number of results and athletes. And I would be very happy if there are some editors which would like to work together, because the Wikiproject Olympics de facto does not exist... I would only be very pleased if you can check the results again. For René I would prefer the diacritic, because this is the correct spelling of his French name. Kind regards Doma-w (talk) 14:28, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Franz Kneissl
A tag has been placed on Franz Kneissl requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. xenocidic (talk) 14:37, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
- Speedy declined. Rettetast (talk) 15:03, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
- I see now how it satisfies notability. My apologies. xenocidic (talk) 17:05, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
SDSU
Thanks for the consideration, but don't worry, I had nothing to do with the events that transpired. I was hoping to go and take pictures to possibly include one on the main project's page, but I was studying for a major test and didn't have time. However, I may go and take a picture eventually of one of the suspended frat houses in order to include it in the article. It is quite interesting the amount of national coverage that has occurred, and the whole campus is buzzing about what happened. --Nehrams2020 (talk) 00:28, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
Athletes notability
Hi Chris! Going through the bobsleigh events again, I saw that at least (I have not checked all) two athletes Alexandru Frimu and Gerhard Hessert were redirected... Maybe you can start a section on your userpage for the "Articles not been able to save from deletion" so that we know for whom we had to fight? I still have a big problem with Mr. Barker, who still "lives" on my userpage... He is the reason why I stopped creating and editing Olympic pages, I only came back to support you with bobsleigh, because I really like your great work. Kind regards Doma-w (talk) 16:50, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not going to lie, I just don't see how someone who competed several decades ago and did not even finish the event is notable. (i.e. Franz Kneissl). xenocidic (talk) 17:00, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
- Having reviewed the criteria, I see where I was wrong. I guess just competing at the highest level satisfies notability. xenocidic (talk) 17:03, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for reestablishing the two bios. Kind regards Doma-w (talk) 08:08, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Men's/Women's
Hi Chris! Yes, you are right. But the problem is, that nearly all Olympic bios uses "Men's", if only men were allowed to compete and "Women's", if only women were allowed to compete. If we write nothing in front of the sport, it means that men and women were allowed to compete both together in the some event... But if you think this is not necessary for bobsleigh, it is ok for me. Great that you like my edits and thanks for reviewing. Kind regards Doma-w (talk) 07:43, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Chris! Yes, I understand your POV. Up to now I mainly work on Summer sports, I was only inspired by your work to come to Winter sports... The Summer sports like handball, basketball, or field hockey all uses the gender in front of the sport and the last column show only "team". I started a discussion about this on the Wikiproject Olympics talkpage last year. But still this does not mean that your idea isn't good! Also bobsleigh and skeleton can have a different standard. This is no problem, because the wiki Olympics pages have no standard up to now.
- I am sorry, but I do not want and can not help for the 2008 Summer Olympics. First I am retired from the project and second I will stay in Beijing and this of course without wikipedia :) Kind regards Doma-w (talk) 08:56, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Userboxes
Your userbox dealing with "metric and american systems"; isnt the "american system" called the imperial system? according to its article (and my own knowledge) anyways. Ironholds (talk) 09:51, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks! (GA)
That's totally good -- you would not believe how hard it was for me to actually find the page about how to nominate an article for GA. Took 15 minutes. Insane. Where are the usability people when we need them? I can do citations, that's not so hard. I was more worried about the overall organization of the page, since it isn't chronological and the thematic organization doesn't read well, imho. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wmjames (talk • contribs) 14:24, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Ok, I give up, this is a joke, the ref section is not automatically generated?!?! I added some refs to some sections, but there isn't any "Notes" section magically appearing down at the bottom of the article. Wikipedia's pages about how to do things are rather useless (I want to do one little thing and it was not easy to figure out how to do it), and I am guessing you will know off the top of your head how to do this, which is much more efficient than my trawling through page after page of stuff that doesn't contain the answer (like the MOS doesn't actually talk about citations). Is the notes section automatically generated? (If not, it should be!)--Wmjames (talk) 15:22, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
AH!!!!! "Place references or reflist in an otherwise empty "Notes" or "References" section near the end of the article—the list of notes will be automatically generated here." (I had to delete some of the wp formatting from that sentence...) So difficult to find that one little thing, which was all I needed (but it was on the page you said!).--Wmjames (talk) 15:40, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Ok I did some work and will try to finish it in the next week or so. The refs aren't done but it is getting better. There had been a "ref" generating tag but then someone put some entries in the section so it wasn't empty so it wasn't generating... Wow. --Wmjames (talk) 17:19, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of User The Pussycat Dolls, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Template:User The Pussycat Dolls. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 02:54, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of User The Pussycat Dolls
A tag has been placed on User The Pussycat Dolls requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
