DEFAULTSORT and disambiguation terms

I've noticed that you chronically add (and re-add) disambiguation terms into DEFAULTSORTS; this creates mis-sorting. For example, "Brown (Canoer), John" will sort before "Brown (Kayaker), Dave" because "Canoe" comes before "Kayak", even though "Brown, Dave" comes before "Brown, John". Also, our guideline, WP:Categorization_of_people#Ordering_names_in_a_category explicitly says: "The sort key should mirror the article's title as closely as possible, while omitting disambiguating terms." No, your concern can't happen. The link to the article is created automatically using the article title; the DEFAULTSORT (or other sort keys) only control where in the category list the article title appears. What happens is, all the article sort keys are collected, then sorted, then the article titles are displayed in that sorted order, and, as I said, the link in the category page is to the article title. I felt that the article deserved a better picture, so I uploaded a picture of my own. I feel that my image was clearer, much brighter, and of a newer model (SR5130NX), so I replaced your image on the Presario article with mine. I just felt that I would let you know about it. Hi Miller, It seems to me, here are bigger Mistakes with the European Championships. Could you check the lists and articles with the correct and official List of the FIL? I found it, while I was writing the german-language-version of Heinrich Isser (also known as "Heini" and "Heinz" Isser). But there are also some other Mistakes in the 50th here. Biathlon World Championships

Hi Chris. It's been a while. Recently I have been doing a lot of editing on Biathlon World Championships. I don't know if you are involved in this page, but anyway, because we have worked together on a similar page, I would appreciate your view. The reason I started editing was a serious error stating that the team competitions 1958-65 were "unofficial relays". Unfortunately this error is widely spread on the net. I put in referances to a serious web site which actually got it right. Before editing I talked to a user who recently edited the page explaining what I intended to do. He (Tony) was helpful, advicing, and told me to go ahead. I also linked every year on the main page, did some corrections on the medal table and did some work also on the pages for each year, in particular the early years. I know the info I added for these years is correct, but I don't have any web sites, other than the one mentioned, to back it up. So if other users dispute my work, what do I do? Thanks. Autoreviewer status keeps your new article out of the queue of unreviewed new articles and help newpage patrollers. I gave it to you because there were several unpatrolled new articles from you on the list of new articles and I recognized you name as an editor hat could be truusted to add sources etc. You don't have to do anything different from now on. Yep, so I noticed. He didn't evne both to check on Dutch wikipedia on Marius van Amelsvoort which was being started to be translated. File an ANI on him and I'll also say something, probably a bitter old blocked wikipedian taking revenge. Let me know when the complaint has been filed. He is disrupting development. Right! Sorry, I meant to get back to you earlier. I still plan on making sure it gets mentioned in the Signpost, it just fell off my radar for a bit. I would have mentioned it in the Signpost right after I saw the article, but I thought that because it was so tightly paywalled/embargoed, it would be more effective to wait a month or so until there was a better chance for readers to be able to access through their institutional subscriptions.
