This... — Film Fan 17:34, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
- (talk page watcher) The first thing to mention Film Fan is that Doniago did not make the edit in question TheOldJacobite did. Next, I can tell you that the field should not be removed. At the very least it is a WP:NOTBROKEN situation. To be more specific please read the documentation here Template:Infobox film/doc you will see that, when filled in, the field is an aid for visually impaired Wikipedia users. There are two ways it should be handled. One, fill it in with a brief description of the film poster. Two, leave it blank so that someone else can fill it in. If you remove it other editors wont be able to edit the field. If you have removed it from other film articles please restore it. Your cooperation in this will be appreciated. I hope that everyone involved has a pleasant weekend. MarnetteD|Talk 17:54, 10 February 2017 (UTC)

Just got back from vacation; looks like this was resolved well enough in my absence. Thanks all. DonIago (talk) 06:57, 13 February 2017 (UTC)

It's about usability
Sorry my question is a bit inscrutable at MOS Film but it's important to think about these thing in terms of usability and user experience. It's a bit like https://www.usability.gov/how-to-and-tools/methods/scenarios.html Siuenti (씨유엔티) 21:05, 7 April 2017 (UTC)

cast in plot section
Hi - since you've reverted me a couple of times now, I thought I'd note that we're having a discussion of the issue at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Film if you want to weigh in. Most people seem to mostly agree with you! john k (talk) 12:28, 2 April 2017 (UTC)
- I've already chimed in there, but thank you for the belated notification. DonIago (talk) 16:05, 2 April 2017 (UTC)

Well okay... I'm not sure why you reverted but I did it due to this which also being discussed here--Jennica✿ / talk 20:10, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
- My reading of the links you provided is that boldfacing is not the preferred option, though it may be an option. I followed-up on your comment at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Accessibility and would respectively ask that you self-revert your changes until a more clear consensus emerges, as my reading is that the existing format (semicolons) is considered acceptable. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 20:22, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
