Stephen Dorf Jewish Category
Hello.
Dorfs article writes that he is "half Jewish" and quotes dorf saying he was raised that way. So I don't see what I did wrong. I always check articles for sources and verify everything. If I made a genuine mistake feel free to change it.
but thanks for checking.

- The article doesn't say he is half-Jewish, it says, "he was "kinda brought up half-Jewish"". That doesn't make it a current state. Thanks for your understanding! DonIago (talk) 03:13, 16 November 2016 (UTC)
Good morning, Doniago! Sorry, my fault. I'd misread the sentence. With a comma plus an "and", it indicates two separate actions: Marge and Homer worrying about Lisa, and Bart doing nothing but watch cartoons. With the comma removed, it indicates parental concern for them both. Thanks for bearing with me. :-). Zoidbergmd 15:26, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
- No worries! We all make mistakes. :) DonIago (talk) 14:28, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
I, Frankenstein
Hi. I was just wondering, what source should I use? I know a few, but I'm confused on what I should use to confirm the entry (if you know what I mean). --Volts and Lightning! (talk) 22:32, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
- Hi there! Thanks for getting in touch. You should provide a third-party source (i.e. the film's own website wouldn't qualify) that characterizes the film as a monster movie. Hopefully not to hard to find, but entries in list articles are required to be verifiable members of that list. A review of the movie that calls it a monster movie would likely suffice. Hope this helps? DonIago (talk) 05:40, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!
Hello, Doniago. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

Time travel
So your justification for undoing my edit here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_time_travel_works_of_fiction&diff=756187915&oldid=756186042 was it was not sourced? Yet your revert not only kept in the unsourced item, but restored another equally unsourced item. Can you explain?Slatersteven (talk) 15:55, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- Seeing as how you already made other edits to the article, I'm not sure why you came here? That said, I'm not seeing where my edit restored anything... DonIago (talk) 16:26, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- Because I want to know why, and here is the version you restored to https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_time_travel_works_of_fiction&diff=756185283&oldid=755702512
- Including the item you claimed I had added that needed sourcing
- 3 Time travel in videogames
- Here is the same section (and the one you removed from my edit, but in a different place).
- 2 Time travel in anime
- 3 Time travel in videogames
- I do not understand your decision to undo my edit and restore to a worse version,(nor why your marked it as a minor edit), in that it not only included the same (unsourced) materiel but added a new (unsourced) one. It does not mater if I removed the material subsequently, you did not remove it, and in fact just re-inserted it in a different order, why?Slatersteven (talk) 16:35, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- When I review the link you provided showing my edit, the only change I see is that I removed your addition of the videogames section and the one entry you provided. Are you possibly referring to changes made by other editors? Given that all I'm seeing that my edit did was remove material, I'm not seeing how you can claim that I added unsourced material at the same time.
- In any event, before I'd seen that you had made additional edits to the article, I was considering that my own edit may have been unwarranted. As you've since overwritten my change in any case, there doesn't seem to be much left to discuss? DonIago (talk) 17:07, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- Really you cannot see that my edit did not have "2 Time travel in anime" and yours restored it?Slatersteven (talk) 17:10, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- When I view the diff you provided, I'm not seeing that. In any event, it's not there now, so can we declare the beaten horse dead? DonIago (talk) 17:49, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- It is not a dead horse when someone refuses to acknowledge they made a mistake, yours was not a minor edit, and did not remove, it just moved material. I am not sure why you refuse to explain your actions. If they were an honest mistake, and (for example) you did not mean to claim it was a minor edit fine. But it would be nice if you either admitted it was a mistake or denied it.Slatersteven (talk) 18:01, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- As I've already said, I was going to review my changes and possibly revert them at the time, but you've since made substantial edits. I have no interest in revisiting what I did to ascertain whether or not I should have reverted it now that you've made it immaterial. If this is of significant concern to you, then in the future I would recommend that you consider reviewing WP:BRD and initiating conversations about troublesome edits before making further changes. Cheers. DonIago (talk) 19:25, 22 December 2016 (UTC)

Kurt Cobain
Hey, guy, I corrected an item on the Kurt Cobain page (I changed "cause of death" to "manner of death" for obvious reasons) and you changed it back! Mind explaining why you did that? SnoozeKing (talk) 21:20, 26 November 2016 (UTC)
- Your edit had been contested by multiple editors. As I noted in my edit summary, and per WP:BRD, when you make an edit which is reverted, the best course of action is to initiate a discussion at the article's Talk page, where involved editors can weigh in. What you generally should not do is simply reinsert your change, which may be construed as edit-warring. Cheers! DonIago (talk) 16:41, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
SpaceCamp
You people never learn do you? Look on the back of the DVD or Blu-Ray or watch it on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZJGe7sZvxo 147 minutes. Go bother somebody else. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.102.157.201 (talk • contribs)
- IMDb clearly lists 107 minutes. If you don't want to be bothered, don't insert information which can easily be shown to be inaccurate. DonIago (talk) 18:54, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
