Talk:Cervantes (Soul Edge)
Thanks for putting the good picture back.
Cervantes's Age
[edit]Cervantes' assumed age is around 80. If you think about it, 48 (Cervantes' last registered age) + 32 (Ivy's actual age) = 80. Since Ivy was conceived after Cervantes get ahold of Soul Edge, its practically dead on he has 80 right now.
Yeah, but you don't know when Ivy was born exactly. So its still unknown.
Nirvana
[edit]I think Nirvana is based upon the knife pistol. They appear to have been used in the past, and there are even modern versions of the weapon. [1][2] Dessydes
Character Analisis
[edit]I'm not shure about deleting the "character analisis" part of the soul calibur characters. It does provides useful information for those interested in the game, and while it seems oriented to a few people, I read "what wikipedia is not" and didn't seem to contradict any item of the list. Besides, this may not be a proper analogy, but I enjoy reading wikipedia pages about Astronomy, for example, but I don't understand the mathematical formulaes in those pages... I think some "cutout" level in wich relevancy goes down for certain people is unavoidable in a enciclopedia, but that's whats makes it so great about an online, hipertexted enciclopedia as wikipedia. Also, while this may sound of little interest, I'm from Argentina (btw, I'm sorry about my english, it's a lot harder to write an argumentation in a foreign language, so I hope not to sound plain silly). I'm aware of the many web sites ofering gaming tips (and you even have things as G4 channel), but those pages contains tips, not an analysis of the characters acording to game mechanics, and that is a very dificult thing to get in countries like mine due to the small economic target we gamers are... (a PS2 cost exactly the same as the average salary). I wish to have make this post comprehensible, and apologize again for poor gramathic. 201.231.74.249 15:59, 20 February 2007 (UTC)Tony.
- I'm sure there are many FAQs and Soul Calibur forums that will have information like this. I don't believe Wiki is the place to have them. Plus they are loaded with POV statements that are not fact. And your English was OK by the way. Mr.bonus 17:22, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
