New Caledonia
For the record, I did not add that information about the movie. I just added to a link to the name. Given that it was already up there, I figured there might as well be a link. 24.11.127.26 (talk) 22:03, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Tampere
Hi, don't you think you were a bit strict and harsh in deleting everything in the trivia section? Are you an expert on Tampere? I'm not saying the article necessarily needs such a section, but much of the info that was there is nontrivial cultural info about Tampere and at least as well known in that city as most other info in most other articles about major cities, most of which is just as unreferenced. Wikipedia:Trivia_sections explains how to deal with trivia sections. --Espoo (talk) 11:07, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Friendly advice
Your English usage is very good. However on your user page you state "de-linking too much links in a sentence". Replace 'much' with 'many' and that's just tickety-boo.[1]

RAF
I will check the facts (and answer on my site), but one thing is certain: the Frankfurt arson attack was not "RAF". RAF proper started (for the outside world) with the paper Die Rote Armee aufbauen from spring 1970. (Just had a look at the german wikipedia raf page and there it says that Mahler and others planned the raf shortly before Baader was caught and put in prison.)--Radh (talk) 23:18, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
I put something on my page, and then had another look at the english wikipedia RAF page, feel free to undo my erasures, but the site is in large part a complete disgrace, the background is nearly all completely beside the point, idiotic (to call Adenauer incompetent is really something else) and depressing. I know that there is too much second rate literature of the political movements of the 60s, but please read at least all of Gerd Koenen (some of his stuff is online) and some of Wolfgang Kraushaar. Both originate from the radical left, but do not trade only in completely boring Klischees.--Radh (talk) 10:11, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
Bakker Schut
This dutch lawyer who was a ferocious advocat of the raf is called Bakker Schut. Now, there seems to have been an (semi?) official dutch plan for a post-45 "Dutch Rheinlands", a so called Bakker-Schut plan. Is this strange or is this strange? Do you know anything about it?--Radh (talk) 09:25, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
It's all good
We were both just venting on each other, and I don't hold any grudges (and rarely do). I haven't been editing very much in favor of a steady workload involving software patching, but other than that everything is going well. Keep editing, Soetermans - Wikpedia thrives off people like you :). Oz actor connections
I took the liberty of adding that section back. It's very neat trivia about the show and actors, it showcases the impact of OZ on the TV industry, and I, for one, always scurried to the Oz wikipedia entry whenever I saw one of the show's regulars in another TV series, to see who else (guest-)stars on that series. It's not like 10-15 more lines are going to overload wikipedia's servers, and it's a good thing to have for the people that are interested in it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thranduil (talk • contribs) 18:33, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Baek Ji Young discography
An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Baek Ji Young discography. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Baek Ji Young discography. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:13, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Hi. You're right, it does need to be expanded. For now, I've copied over the depictions content from the Sylvia Likens article. I was growing up not far from the place where this occurred (and still live fairly near), though I was quite young when it happened. A few years later, my group of friends all read The Indiana Torture Slaying and we were both fascinated and terrified by the whole thing. Then Charles Manson hit the headlines and any semblance of innocence was forever gone. Thanks. Wildhartlivie (talk) 09:01, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Alan Wake
There are several variations within physics (PhysX for instance). Practically every game article on wikipedia has this description listed. This is no exception for Alan Wake. Same applies for Psychological Horror which is in fact part of a game genre. Which is why games such as The Suffering, Silent Hill, and Eternal Darkness are listed as such. You should actually try to research the details within a genre before simply deleting it and deeming that your view is ironclad.Beem2 (talk) 22:26, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi, FYI in case he's no longer on your watchlist, this guy finally got to me and I filed a WP:AN/I report (my first ever) at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Disruptive editing by Bobmack89x. Cheers, CliffC (talk) 19:50, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the barnstar, and the reminder. The page had gotten rather big. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 22:50, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
References
Very well, I won't add it back then. :( I will respect what you are telling be, but I still find it a bit silly, especially when I see pages like the frequency of the "f" word in movies. Are things like that really vital to human knowledge? 99.6.143.133 (talk) 18:37, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
Regarding MoS edits to Dragon Age: Origins
Hello, thanks for your edit to said article which brought many things in-line with the manual of style. May I ask, did you use a tool such as autowiki browser or similar to do so? I only ask because your change of the date format shown in the review section of this diff causes the sentance to become grammatically wrong. This has since been corrected and is no big deal, but I thought I would point this out just in case you are using a tool to perform such edits and have not noticed this potential issue. Again, thanks, and happy editing! --Taelus (talk) 22:27, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Surviving
FWIW I realize BioShock falls short of some of the survival horror checkboxes; of course that doesn't stop reliable sources for characterizing itself as such =) –xenotalk 20:50, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- You know, just to be safe I did a quick search, and, to my surprise, websites like IGN also consider BioShock a survival horror video game. Thanks for your reply :) --Soetermans | drop me a line | what I'd do now? 21:04, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
P.S. While checking out your user page, I stumbled upon the article on eh which I had to edit right away!
- Nice! That's exactly how I do a lot of my editing, just floating about, clicking on links that look interesting. And then Gnoming about. –xenotalk 21:14, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- 'Gnoming about'? Enlighten me! --Soetermans | drop me a line | what I'd do now? 21:25, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- As in WP:WikiGnome'ing. Minor changes, formatting tweaks, small copyedits, etc. –xenotalk 18:58, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
Editing user pages
From User_page#Ownership_and_editing_of_pages_in_the_user_space, re: [[1]]
"In general, it is considered polite to avoid substantially editing another's user page without their permission."
I'm a bit pissed off that you saw fit to undo a two-year-old edit to my user page that I decided to keep up there. It's really not one user's place to undo edits of another's page when they're not patently objectionable. Alvis (talk) 08:31, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
Bayonetta was ported
To answer your question, yes, Bayonetta was ported. Ref 19's fourth paragraph says (with emphasis added),
With Bayonetta, we created the Xbox 360 version of the game first, and then handed off all the data and other assets to SEGA so they could begin the process of porting Bayonetta to the PS3, giving them advice regarding the porting process along the way and overseeing the progress to ensure that the PS3 version would be the best it could be.—attributed to Tatsuya Minami, President & CEO of Platinum Games
Platinum's site has a lot of development videos, anecdotes, and such on that game; I always like such openness, even if it's just promotional. --an odd name 20:33, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
Christmas
Yes, it makes the image too large and unwieldly if every single christmas movie or music has been added to it. And it makes the template an easy target for Wikipedia:Templates for discussion. Garion96 (talk) 17:07, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Thanks!
Hey there, thanks for the message and encouragement. I appreciate your constructive criticism and your contributions to Cover system (gaming). I didn't even notice those errors and probably wouldn't have if you hadn't fixed them. Anyways, thanks and happy edits, GroundZ3R0 002 (talk) 00:52, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
