Not sure if you remember this conversation on User:Fightingirish's talk page and this one on WT:WPRS, but it was about Allegheny Mountain Radio "network" and I had said that none of the stations (to my knowledge) ever broadcast anything but AMR programming. As I said in the WT:WPRS discussion that "I could be wrong"...well, I was. After finding a really neat website with scanned copies of many different radio and TV "yearbooks", I began just doing some searching on radio stations in Virginia. According to the 1992 Broadcasting and Cable Yearbook, WCHG 107.1 was callsigned WBHA and was simulcasting WWES-AM 1270, which was licensed to Hot Springs, Virginia (as is WBHA/WCHG). WWES and WBHA were owned, at the time, by Koinonia Broadcasting broadcasting a Country format with NBC Radio affiliation. By 1994, though, WWES was silent and WBHA was dark, but owned by Pocahontas Communications Cooperative Corporation, as they are today. WWES would be gone by 1995 and WBHA would begin simulcasting WVMR (flagship station of AMR) in 1996.
So, at least one station has history outside of AMR. I am going to search on WVLS 89.7/Monterey, Virginia and see what I can find. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 20:17, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- After looking through those yearbooks, WVLS 89.7 and flagship station WVMR 1370/Frost, West Virginia, were both owned by Pocahontas Communications Cooperative Corporation from the beginning, as they are today. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 20:21, 12 December 2011 (UTC)

Hey, you can source the frequency part of the WRRW article with this link. You will have to scroll down (everything is in frequency order) to 102.5 where you will see the listing for the former WJRX-LP and the current spot for WRRW-LP. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 02:14, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification
Hi. In Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association Awards 2011, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Matt King (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

WikiRyan
I am "WikiRyan", but I'm definitely not famous, haha. -User:ryn2me —Preceding undated comment added 03:21, 26 December 2011 (UTC).
So you asked me that so you could put an edit on the talk page stating that I may have some personal or professional gain/connection to the article? Kinda odd that you didn't just come out and ask me that -User:ryn2me
- I was looking for a straight answer to a simple question. As you are a longtime Wikipedian, you should understand the rules about conflict of interest and not using articles as promotional pieces. Also, I'm hoping you'll have easy access to news coverage of the show in reliable third-party sources and be able to add them to the article. I've enjoyed the show over the years and think this could be a great article, with some reasonable fixes like improved sourcing, a few photos, and a more encyclopedic tone. - Dravecky (talk) 12:09, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
Hey Dravecky, found two interesting articles from the Weirton Daily Times (just across the river from Steubenville in Weirton, West Virginia) about WSTV and it's owner Keymarket. The first article is about the court case is ongoing about the land that the WSTV tower sits on. The second article is mostly about memories of the station.
Perhaps you can take the information from these two article and put them together into some good information. I will start working on it and when you get time, you can come in and work the Ol' Dravecky Magic on the article. How's 'bout that? - Neutralhomer • Talk • 03:56, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
- I've wrung about all I can from those sources plus a few more I managed to unearth. I've clarified the article a bit and even found a few cools historical tidbits. (Apparently WSTV + hard work + 60 years = $3 billion.) - Dravecky (talk) 14:24, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
