Update request
[edit]I suggest this template to be updated, with the addition of Generation V, something like this:
- When a list is created, then it will be on the template. A template links together pages of a similar type. It isn't an information tool. Blake (Talk·Edits) 14:47, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
Individual species
[edit]Since all the pages on specific Pokemon are now being merged into the Lists, what should we do about all the individual ones? They're all becoming redirects, so is it worth keeping them? Supernerd11 :D Firemind ^_^ Pokedex 01:12, 22 February 2014 (UTC)
- Well, we may as well just redirect them ourselves to get the job done. It's not an easy job to put those Pokè-weeaboos in their place, but it'll teach them a lesson: You can't slime up a serious website for adults with your kiddie cruft. Tezero (talk) 01:44, 22 February 2014 (UTC)
Ultra Beasts article?
[edit]Is it worth putting up an article for the Ultra Beasts? I think they deserve an article due to their uniqueness.... Visokor (talk) 16:39, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
- We don't create articles on Pokemon just because they are unique. Read WP:GNG, the topic needs to meet Wikipedia's criteria for notability, that means significant coverage from reliable secondary sources. There's no point creating the article if its just going to fictional in-game info; it will just get nominated for deletion. --The1337gamer (talk) 17:05, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
- Let me rephrase that. Their "significance" to the story of Sun and Moon, including the villainess' motives... Visokor (talk) 10:49, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
- Again, that's irrelevant. "Does it meet Wikipedia's criteria for notability?" is the only question you should be considering. --The1337gamer (talk) 10:52, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
