Contested Deletion
[edit]Yes, the page is a stub, and short, but I believe it fulfills the notability demands. I just haven't gotten around to adding the references yet. Googling "World of the Living Dead" turns up many results of reviews as well as the site itself. This should be more than enough to fulfill the requirements. Previously in December 2009 another member of the WoTLD community started the page, and being quite unknown at the time, it was deleted for notability issues. Now, with more press coverage, I believe that it should be kept. I will personally work on this page as I gather more information on the background behind the developers as well as the development. Also, I have been pressing other members of WoTLD to help edit this page to remove it from it's stub status, as well as make it on par with the other articles.

- Whitesymphonia, thanks for your interest. Currently, the article doesn't fulfill the notability demands, as we don't have any substantial, independent and reliable sources. The French magazine/website has only one passing mention, and I'm not sure whether ballardia.com is a respected and reliable website. I can't find any reviews and articles published by specialized magazines or websites. Could you cite the press coverage you found? --Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 21:27, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
- Sure, I've actually got a small list compiled, just slowly adding the information as well as references. Ballardia.com has some links on the top already, as well as some from our forums. Just gonna be adding them over the next few days. --Whitesymphonia (talk) 23:40, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
- "our forums"? Can you explain this? – Ajltalk 05:57, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
- I checked the links at Ballardia.com, I'm not convinced by Gnomes Lair - it is a blog. The mpogd.com and onrpg.com reviews look good, but I'm not sure whether the sites count as reliable sources. I'll ask at Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games. Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 08:31, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
- I did a little research and the only sources i could come up with that would be considered reliable and independent are mmorpg-center.com and gamershell.com, however both only feature previews or announcements. Seeing how the game is still in beta stage I guess it might be hard to find some reviews from reputable sources Ocharni (talk) 14:12, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, "the forums", I just meant there's a list of links for reviews, etc. That I've been going through and using. Some are in french though, so I'm getting some people to work on translating them. Just got the translated page for "http://www.mmorpgitalia.it/site/content.php?623-World-of-the-living-Dead-Ballardia-Interview" Couldn't find the english version till recently. Will add soon.208.120.102.141 Whitesymphonia (talk) 16:22, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
- I did a little Googling and found a number of websites that at least mention the game and the publisher. Said websites meet the criteria of independent and reliable sources of third-party information. Further, WoTLD is being developed by two former high-level employees of Jolt Online, a prominent browser game developer. Doesn't that help establish notability? The article has many issues which need addressing but the threshold for notability is met, in my opinion. Scienter (talk) 16:37, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
