Woodard Schools embroiled in Academy Controversy
[edit]Woodard Schools became the centre of the Academy Controversy in Sussex when they attempted to take over three secular schools and turn them into religious foundations based on a very narrow Christian ethos. They compounded the problem by a rather high-handed and authoritarian attitude towards staff and parents - refusing to attend a meeting of 200 staff and parents to discuss their plans on thursday 7th February.
