argh
[edit]THIS GAME IS A DESECRATION!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by David Cat (talk • contribs)
Please do not express your opinions and your POV in Wikipedia. We all know that Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly was a beyond-horrible game. You can put encyclopedic info as much as you want in Wikipedia but please cite your sources. PrestonH 03:48, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
PrestonH ?? if i remember correctly I wrote that comment... David Cat 19:38, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Forget this, A Hero's Tail for me was easily the worst. 59.167.90.124 (talk) 08:47, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
BAH!!
This game gives spyro a bad name! Me, a lover of everything spyro, should know. It's like this game practically RUNS on glitches. Annoying music, bright colors, lockups, and slow slow slow loadtimes!!!! Also, near the tiki luau place, i swam THROUGH the stinking net. Under the castle, I found hunter, UPSIDEDOWN. People need to think before they rush video games. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.101.166.77 (talk) 14:04, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Oh, it's not that bad! I have the Gamecube and it's pretty fun! Although those graphical enemy stand-still glitches scare me to death, I love the game! My one gripe is the lack of Moneybags. :'( And, you know, they have to put Hunter somewhere after he teaches you how to glide and- WAIT!! You saw Hunter upside down under the castle?!?!!?!?!?!? *turns on gamecube and goes to look* 24.179.27.28 (talk) 02:34, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
What happenned to the Reaction & Gameplay Sections?
[edit]It's gone, and removed before it was even discussed here. Abby724 04:27, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Nevermind, it seems it was removed by accident. They';re back now. Abby724 04:39, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Console System
[edit]I've had four sources; Walmart, Target, Block Buster and Circuit City, that state that this game is for Nintendo Gamecube. Is it for just gamecube or is it also for PS2? Punk18
I have a copy of this game for the PS2. As far as I know, the XBox version was given a brief mention but it got cancelled though. Freqrexy 19:29, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Ripto's death?
[edit]I think I can emphasize on how they made Ripto a recurring character here (though between you and me, five games with him as the main villain is a big mistake). After getting enough skill points in Spyro 2, you'll get access to the Epilogue describing what happened to everyone after the events of that game in particular. On one of the pages, it showed that one of Spyro's friends "found a new toy", which was accompanied by a picture of a dragon elder holding Ripto (he seemed like he was screaming) upside down. Additionally, there was a page in the epilogue for Spyro 3, with him and Gnasty Gnorc (Spyro 1 antagonist) "discussing the Spyro problem". It may not answer much over how he survived the lava pit, but it's just a way of pointing across that he could have still been alive between his attempt at the Avalar siege and his attempt at snatching the dragonflies.
I don't even know if the epilogue is to be considered canon, but I still think it's a start if something needs to be considered. Freqrexy 19:39, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Weird glitch
[edit]I went to talk to that Honey Marshes guy when I didn't have enough DFs and after talking he said I could go and I couldn't! What a liar!--Sonic,Pikachu,and Snorunt (talk) 00:09, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
Changes that I made and will be made
[edit]I have merged two sections about review and reception, as I feel they are redundant from one another. I also created a table forming all the reviews from various critics, and made other slide modifications. Anyone who disagrees with my changes are free to revert.
This article is lacking many things. First, the article does not explain the gameplay and the sales. We can add that to the article, and expand the other sections to make it a good-looking articles. Any thoughts to make this possible? PrestonH 04:28, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- The edits you made were very much in line with how we try to write and organize articles. You're right that more sections are needed too. At minimum, most game articles need the following sections.
- Gameplay
- Plot - Setting, characters, and story subsections if there is enough content for them.
- Development
- Reception - Critical response and awards subsections if there is enough content for separate sections. Info like sales can be integrated into the rest of the "Reception" section.
- I'd recommend reading reviews of the game on IGN, GameSpot, GameInformer or other gaming networks. In addition to comments about reviewing the game, often times there are descriptive statements about the gameplay or tidbits related to the development of the game. Keep up the good work and happy editing. (Guyinblack25 talk 17:56, 3 March 2008 (UTC))

Citation Needed For Following Statement
[edit]"As of 2019, there are mysteries surrounding what happened during the development of the unfinished game." What mysteries? Are there any sources that directly state the game is "unfinished"? There should also be a source for the "mysteries" claim, or, at the very least, they should be specified. TRUEandHONESTuser (talk) 18:47, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
Citation for development
[edit]It's heard a lot of times that the game is rushed, everyone says that. Please help out in insert citations and fonts. I tried to insert them, but they had errors and I gave up.--Vittorio Fedele (talk) 14:01, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
