[edit]Although the English-language sources seem very reliable, it is strange that I can't find anything about this guy in Korean. Even supposing that the Korean-language media (and netizens!) avoided using his real name, which is plausible, searching for the detective's name with likely keywords also turns up nothing. He obviously died in internet cafe at Gwangju, but we can't know he is from Gwangju.
