This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of All God's Children (film), and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.womanvision.org/all-gods-children.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. Moving pages

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give The X Factor (USA) a different title by copying its content and pasting it into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other articles that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Werldwayd! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 11 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Laura Bari - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Ronit Avni - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 21:17, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Alain Lanty. Our verifiability policy requires that all content be cited to a reliable source. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

Flags

Please do not continue to add flags to articles such as The X Factor (Greece). Per established wikipedia guidelines as seen here, flags should not be used to denote the nationality of the person. It is not a special case, it is the case that the guideline was established specifically for. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 00:02, 20 January 2010 (UTC)

The reason I put the nationality in the page's title is because Nelly is also an entertainer, so Nelly (entertainer) can still be ambiguous. Just thought I'd let you know. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 20:12, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

Actually she is a pan-Arab entertainer and just Entertainer is much better. werldwayd (talk) 20:29, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
The article says she's Egyptian. I wasn't aware that "pan-Arab" was a nationality. But it is still ambiguous because the title "Nelly (entertainer)" could still apply to Nelly. That's all I wanted to explain to you. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 22:05, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
By the way, it's generally not recommended that you "fix" redirect links that are not broken, such as changing [[Nelly (Egyptian entertainer)|Nelly]] to [[Nelly (entertainer)|Nelly]]. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 22:09, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

Hi Werldwayd. I'd encourage you to add sources as you are writing an article—it will make it less likely that someone comes along and tags it for lacking notability, or for deletion. There's current a drive on Wikipedia to try to reduce the number of unsourced biographies of living people. Let me know if you need any help. Best, Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 02:18, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

Nicely done. I've seen you around before—some of our article editing interests overlap, it seems. Please feel free to stop by my talk page anytime if you need assistance. Best, Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 03:55, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

I have nominated Expansionist Party of the United States, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Expansionist Party of the United States. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

The article Keren Yedaya has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Vipin Hari || talk 07:07, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Kendall Berry

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Kendall Berry. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kendall Berry. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

Hello there! I just came across Alain Poiré and noticed the multitude of red links there. Some of them I was able to fix because the articles existed under different variations of the name, but the majority have no article written. Please see WP:Red link and maybe create some articles for these films, if they are notable enough. If the films are not notable enough to be include on Wikipedia, please unlink them. Thank you! The article Addicted (Danny Fernandes song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:MUSIC, WP:SOURCE, WP:NSONG, WP:MOS.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. PopMusicBuff talk 18:33, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 20:24, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Eddie Moussa

Hello, where are you getting the info from that Eddie Moussa was born in Syria? --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 15:33, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

You left a message about Eddie Moussa. He only recently acquired Lebanese nationality for playing with the Lebanese National Team. But Eddie Moussa is born in Syria. Here are some references:
  • [1] In Arabic (translating): Original country of Birth: Syria, Date of Birth 1 January 1984. Age: 24
  • [2] Biography in Arabic: Country of origin: Syria
  • [3] Biography in Arabic
  • [4]
  • [5] Names of Syrian players in foreign countries (name number 38 in the list)

However I stand corrected. Interestingly he couldn't have been Lebanese if he RECENTLY got Lebanese nationality to play in the national team. Translation: "Ready for Lebanon: In contrast, Eddie Moussa about to take another big step in his career. Games for Lebanon's national team. His father is Lebanese descent and they had managed to get Lebanese citizenship to Eddie so he could go and play with their national teams. When he told me this, he was thrilled, but then this happened. To me, Eddie was an amazing guy. He created a positive energy around them, "says David Durmaz, close friends and players in Ljungskile SK." However I stand corrected if you can provide references that he wasn't a Syrian. werldwayd (talk) 16:28, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

I was wondering because I didn't see any info about him being born in Syria in the references in the article. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 16:40, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Yep, I got , your source. Unfortunately, that was a propaganda piece. I searched the whole net, to see, if i could get any material about the tombs at saffron monastery.. Unfortunate that their aint any. It would be better not to use that particular line, since we do not have any authentic source. The particular source was in reply to another author, who went and saw the Tomb of Iganatius Abdul Masih at the Saffron Monastery. Since we have a conflict. We should enquire more. It was put in wiki for almost an year. 125.22.97.34 (talk) 07:41, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

  • After the concerns you have raised about the reliability of that source, I have removed the note about the burial. There are so many contentious issues about this Iganatius Abdul Masih we need to be very careful in portraying certain contentious details werldwayd (talk) 07:49, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
    • Thanks a lot for your prompt action. I did search the whole net for a genuine source, unfortunately there aint even one. Your page was showing up in Category:Singlechart used with missing parameters. When you call {{singlechart}} with UKchartstats, you have to provide the songid from Chartstats. In this case, since the article is at http://www.chartstats.com/songinfo.php?id=34759 , you needed to add "songid=34759". When I looked at it, though, I saw that it was available on the main UK chart site and that you had missed about a dozen charts, so I just switched the call out and added the missing ones.—Kww(talk) 14:06, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

Greetings! It appears as though you have been directly adding stub categories to articles. Stub categories should only ever be added by templates, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. These templates automatically add any relevant stub categories. Adding the category directly creates problems if there is a need at some later date to change stub category names or to split stub categories. Using stub templates is also recommended as they add prompting messages to editors reading stub articles. Your work in sorting these stub articles is very useful, but it would be even more useful and greatly appreciated if you could use stub templates to do so! (This message is a boilerplate, left here as a courtesy by Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting, and should not be considered personal in nature.) Grutness...wha? 04:03, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Twee vaders nominated for deletion

Hello Werldwayd. Don't be mad, but I nominated Twee vaders, which you created, for deletion, because I believe it's not notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. While it is true that the song has been performed on the 2007 EuroGames,[8] and that is has been played by Jay Brannan on some small-scale concert,[9] this is by far not enough to warrant an article. As a huge fan of Kinderen voor Kinderen (and this song), I can confirm that it drew international attention, but most of it was informal and through blogs. The song has not received much mainstream coverage, and as such it goes too far to label it "a pioneering song in support of gay parenting". You can find the nomination page here.

Besides, to answer your question on the article's talk: the music of the song was written by Fluitsma & Van Tijn, a duo of producer veterans who have written a lot of songs for KvK, and who have been producing their albums since 2004 (pt 25). The lyrics of the song were written by Peter Zwerus. I don't know who he is, but I do know that this wasn't the first song he wrote for KvK (see here, and go to "[schrijvers]"). Cheers, theFace 09:54, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

in reply: Cool! Yes, Fluitsma & Van Tijn might pass the notability bar on en.wp, but within an ace of it. They are very well-known in the Netherlands, and have been associated with work that has gained international attention. They set up the band Mai Tai, and produced the Dutch entry of the Eurovision Song Contest of 1998. According to their Dutch page, they also wrote for the Dolly Dots and Guus Meeuwis. However, the problem with articles on 'foreign' subjects like these is that they contain very little info, as there are often little sources to build upon. And if there are any, they are usually in the native language of the subjects. Worse, the duo doesn't even have their own website! I wouldn't take up this task, as the result would probably be little more than a small version of the Dutch article. I doubt many people would find that interesting. I just don't think it's worth it. Cheers, theFace 11:38, 12 November 2010 (UTC)

The article Thomas Ring Petersen has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

Gigs (talk) 15:54, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

To set the record straight, actually I did not create this article at all, as I know about the controversy surrounding it as it has not charted yet. I was just adding some cosmetic very small edits on an already existing text. The article was created by User:MaJic. On the other hand, I encourage MaJic and others to copy iut to their userspaces and develop it further there and to relaunch it when the song charts, as it no doubt will very imminently werldwayd (talk) 00:02, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

The article Mariska has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Claims notability of musical artist without any relevant details or citations. Searches on Google and Bing only found Wikis and mirror sites, without a way to verify any of the facts.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Lebanese Second Division 2009-10, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.absoluteastronomy.com/topics/Lebanese_Second_Division_2008-09.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Not sure what your interest in this article is, but please do not remove applicable maintenance templates. There are not ten references, there are three, and one is to the subject's own site. Degrees do require citation. And the article has been edited by someone with a conflict of interest and should remain tagged as such for now. Yworo (talk) 17:24, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

"Beautiful Day"

Hey there; I hope that you didn't take any offence to my reversion of your edits on "Beautiful Day". I'm not opposed at all to a mention in the prose of those covers; two or three short sentences just doesn't seem like enough information for any cover (the Lee Dewyze one especially) to warrant it's own full section in the article, hence why I reverted it back. I think that it seems to work best at the moment in the "Legacy" section, since it shows with more ease the impact that the song has had. Happy holidays to you. :-) Melicans (talk, contributions) 05:33, 25 December 2010 (UTC)

No problem at all mate; it's an aspect that seems to be neglected from the articles for some reason or another; the major covers anyways. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Det burde ikk være sådan her requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. →GƒoleyFour08:31, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Lebanese-alphabet.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Lebanese-alphabet.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:05, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Baselios-Thomas-I.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Baselios-Thomas-I.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 19:12, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

I'm looking into the copyright allegations against the main article, and I'm starting to agree with HW that the history is such a tangled mess that it will be somewhere between difficult and impossible to clean up. I basically accept the notability of the subject, so I'm trying to find a clean starting point. Do you feel confident that your version represents a clean start? Or did you start with the existing version and cut down?—Kww(talk) 00:16, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

No problem. If the article survives AFD, I'll replace it with your new rewrite and delete the history.—Kww(talk) 00:44, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

I went ahead and cut it back to a stub, with full protection in place. When your version is done, let me know, and I'll do a history merge.—Kww(talk) 03:50, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

The Voice Table

I'm glad you like my table regarding Blind Auditions on The Voice (U.S.). I don't mind (and in fact like) any changes that have been made. I was actually really tired when I did it, and went out of town immediately afterward so now was my first chance to take a fresh look at it. So proof-reading by someone else was a good thing. Thanks for your input, it is appreciated. ThaPauly (talk) 20:24, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Schoolboy Records requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Hi, I've been monitoring this page from afar. It seems that user KWW unnecessarily cut out many sourced bits from this article. Please check http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Marc_Mysterio&diff=prev&oldid=418889307 to see the article prior to the edits.

Also, a picture should be added. TMZ has a profile for this individual, as do mainstream medias for his musical success. I want to see the article expanded, and include a picture as well. there are plenty online.

BBC R1 legend Judge Jules predicted on air for him to enter the top level of artist/dj/producer in the world in 2009 (sourced) and now he is with Sony Music. That shouldve not been taken out. here is an update: http://www.artistdirect.com/entertainment-news/article/marc-mysterio-signs-with-sony-music/8973863 http://www.sonymusic.se/artister/marc-mysterio

and also all references of the Shout It Out video were removed yet it received global support on music video tv networks (mtv, tmf, much, musiqueplus, etc.) and was added to the 2010 year end dance compilation of TMF (digital channel of mtv).

Please take a look at this to add back what you think is proper. I'm not well versed on wiki but it seems some individuals get off on hacking apart legit articles, prematurely. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.246.98.51 (talk) 12:02, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

Muboraksho Mirzoshoev and "Ay yoram biyo"

Dear Werldwide,

Thank you very much for your post on my wiki page. In fact, it has been very long time that I am not very active in wikipedia. I will try to answer your questions regarding the famous song of Muboraksho, "Ay yoram biyo".

Muboraksho Mirzoshoyev joined the group of Daler Nazarov in the early 1980s. It was Ikbol Zavkibekov who has introduced him to his father and to Daler Nazarov. In those years, singing was not considered quite as a profession, and both Daler Nazarov and Muboraksho used to sing in a genre (rock) that was uncommon in the Soviet Union. Muboraksho soon became a popular wedding/party singer along with Daler Nazarov. Until the Soviet Collapse they have never released an official tape or album (disc did not exist in those years). The song "Ай ёрам биё" or "Ай ёрум биё" was popular in the early 1980s. It was presented in the movie Kumir in 1988. One could transliterate the title of this song as: "Ay yōrum biyō" from Tajiki Persian or "Ay yāroom biyā" from Iranian Persian. Since it was originated from a Tajik singer I would use the first title.

As far as the official album goes, Muboraksho has never released any official album. In 1997 (after the civil war in Tajikistan) some groups have released (without Daler's or Muboraksho's permission) two semi-official albums "Jiray-1" and "Jiray-2". The first album contains mostly Dalers songs (except for one), while the second album has 13 of Muboraksho songs, including "Ay yorum biyo".

Jiray 2

Туро намепарастам
Сабза ба ноз
Дерест, ки дилдор паёме нафиристод
Дӯстат дорам
Ай ёрум биё --- Ay yorum biyo
Акрамҷон
Нола дорам
Чор ҷавон
Ё Алӣ мадатке
Модак лай-лай
Гушнаи тири нигоҳат
Ғарибӣ
Рақс бикун

The lyrics of this song is in Tajiki Persian language (in fact, Tajiki is a Persian language written in a Cyrillic script. It should not confused with Russian. For example, English is written in a Latin script but is not the Latin language, or the same goes for Portuguese, Italian, Spanish etc which use the Latin script. Tajiki is a Persian dialect written in Cyrillic script). The title literally can be translated as "Come my sweetheart". This song was half Persian half Pamiri before its official release. Muboraksho used to sing both. A version of its lyrics used to be in this link: http://www.muboraksho.pamirian.com/bt1.shtml

Ай ёрум биё --- Ay yōrum biyō --- Come my mistress
Дилдорум биё --- Dildōrum biyō --- Come my sweetheart
Дил майли ту дорад --- Dil mayli tu dōrad --- My heart desires you
Сазоворум биё --- Sazōvōrum biyō --- Come my worthy

This is the literate translation of first four lines. If you wish I could send the rest. Best regards, Farid2053 (talk) 05:42, 1 August 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for your post and for editing the wiki pages. And thanks for sending me various links. As soon as I get some spare time I will create a Persian/Tajik(Cyrillic) page for the song. I will try also to create a Persian (Arabic script) page for the song, however my written Persian script is not very well. By the way, I should mention that I am not 100 percent sure if it was Muboraksho himself (as an actor) who played Shodkom in the movie Kumir. As I was young, I vividly remember watching movie with Shodkom and calling him Muboraksho. However, it is the fact that the song "Ay yorum biyo" was sung by Shodkom/Muboraksho in the movie, and some of Muboraksho's songs were used in the movie as well. Below I will also bring the rest of the lyrics.
Refrain
Ай ёрум биё --- Ay yōrum biyō --- Come my mistress
Дилдорум биё --- Dildōrum biyō --- Come my sweetheart
Дил майли ту дорад --- Dil mayli tu dōrad --- My heart desires you
Сазоворум биё --- Sazōvōrum biyō --- Come my worthy

Аз Бадахшонуме --- Az Badakhshōnume --- I am from Badakhshan
Ороми ҷонуме --- Ōrōmi jōnume --- You are peace of my soul
Ба пеши ман --- Ba peshi man --- Towards me
Биё, биё --- Biyō, biyō --- Come, and come
Refrain
Дилбари ҷонуме --- Dilbari jōnume --- You are my soulmate
Моҳи тобонуме --- Mōhi tōbōnume --- You are my shining Moon
Ба пеши ман --- Ba peshi man --- Towards of me
Биё, биё --- Biyō, biyō --- Come, and come

The article Matthew Shepard (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This isn't really what disambiguation pages are for - they're for disambiguating pages with the same title. The function served by this page - ie. to collect Matthew Shepard-related articles - is already covered by Category:Matthew Shepard.

In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Aleksander Torshin. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 24 September 2011 (UTC)

The article Aleksander Torshin has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. GB fan 00:22, 24 September 2011 (UTC)

The article Délizia has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Removing "Mar" to conform with Wikipedia style: the case of Mar Dinkha IV

Dear Werldwayd, do you have any insights about what should happen over at Mar Dinkha IV, where someone (me) has asked HERE whether the page should be renamed as simply "Dinkha Khananya" (i.e., the person's original full name), in order to conform with WP:Naming_conventions_(clergy)#Syriac_bishops? I see you contributed to the page a while back. I'd encourage you to contribute your thoughts on the talk page. Many thanks -- Presearch (talk) 20:56, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

I actually agree with you about Mar (which is just a title. But family names are not actually good practice. I think just Dinkha IV (without Mar, but adding the Fourth as IV) would be the best. werldwayd (talk) 21:04, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
OK, and thanks for your quick response, but I'm a bit confused. How are family names bad practice (is there a Wikipedia guideline???)? Also, are you saying that the "IV" is part of his family or birth name, rather than part of his ecclesiastical name? (I'm essentially ignorant about how the relevant ethnic naming conventions may operate...). Sorry I'm not quicker on the uptake, and thanks again for your help. - Presearch (talk) 21:22, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

Rotana Hotels

Hello,

Is Rotana Hotels actually part of Rotana Group? There's no indication in the articles or on the companies' websites, which both make ownership very clear for similar companies like Rotana Records. If Rotana Hotels is independent, then perhaps we could make that clearer in Category:Rotana Group, Template:Rotana and the dab page Rotana. I'm happy to do the donkey work if you wish; I just wanted to check the facts before being bold. Thanks, Certes (talk) 14:22, 5 October 2011 (UTC)

chaldean patriachs

Dear Werldwayd, I'm seeing you are editing the Articles of the Chaldean Patriarchs. I write you for two issues:

  • the ordinal numbers: these are our schemes but the Chaldean/Assyrian Patriarchs int the past never used the ordinal numbers. So that J. Hormez is the n. VII is only a modern guess, and he himself had no idea of which number he was !! Different sourced lists have different ordinal numbers. The same for the titles: they were very unfixed.
  • the succession box: it is by first wholly useless because the same data are already in the infobox. It is also quite POV because it usually "too schematic" and so quite far from what truly happened.

To force any biography into some rigid schemes of us (as lists, successions ect) can produce many POVs and can be away from the complexity of the history. A ntv (talk) 20:05, 8 October 2011 (UTC)

Better source request for File:Natteravn-rasmus-seebach.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Natteravn-rasmus-seebach.jpg. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 19:43, 22 October 2011 (UTC)

Peter Pan

I appreciate the attention you're showing to the Peter Pan articles, but please take a more careful look at what's already been done. There is already an article for the characters of Peter Pan, and the play was not overlooked by the navigation template; it's covered in the same article that covers the novelization. Also, putting "related articles" on a disambiguation page misses the sole purpose of those pages: to help people find the right article for an ambiguous title. -Jason A. Quest (talk) 23:01, 19 December 2011 (UTC)

Please stop making major uniliteral changes to articles without discussing them. Just because you've taken an interest in the subject doesn't mean that your ideas trump what's been done with them previously. -Jason A. Quest (talk) 00:23, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Rachel Crow requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia.
