My dear Father Carlos Morales Treviño
I have been un able to present a Wikipedia Bio for the great and amazing life of my dear Father, he was a true fighter a honorable man, when you Google his name Carlos Morales Treviño, please check the Bio on www.thestoryofarchitect.com blog and www.storyofarchitect.com where you can download the book I wrote both about the life of my father and the most important painting in Ibero-America, of course I understand the need to be encyclopedia related, but remember that both stories come from family albums and documents, so if you want to start a Wikipedia of my father and the Painting, you need to ask yourself the following: Is the Painting real? Yes, was it painted by Miguel Cabrera? Yes, Was Miguel Cabrera an uneducated Indian? Yes, Was this Painting his First? Yes, its Certified, Was Miguel Cabrera a Protégée of Bishop Pantaleon Alvarez? Ye,s Was Pedro de Cebrian the ViKing of America? Yes, did he take Paintings from Church from Miguel Cabrera to his House? Yes, Was Pedro de Cebrian ambassador from Spain to Vienna at the very important time of the signature of the treaty of Acquistran? yes, Was Spain a very important Player? Yes, was a common process of negotiation to invite important people to the Ambassador of Spain house? Yes, was it possible that Mary Therese of Hapsburg saw the Painting at one of those meetings? Yes, was she a fervient Catholic? Yes, Did Mary Therese Loved the Americas and Believed to be her right to rule? Yes, did she contest the Bourbon Crown of the Americas? Yes, would she be moved to see a Painting, the first Miguel Cabrera, an un educated Indian, be moved by the detail and greatness of the painting of the Virgin? yes, Did the Painting end on my House? Yes My Name is Carlos Morales Urquiza, My email is Carmors@hotmail.com, I thing you are making a disservice to the world by not considering to publish a Wikipedia page of my father Carlos Morales Treviño a and the Painting of Miguel Cabrera XVII The Asencion of the Virgin, hope you reconsider and help publish this amazing story, Best Regards, Carlos Morales Urquiza, and I declare that all the content is 100% true, all the Videos and all Pictures are Mine and 100% true and I declare as my own copyrights , 100% true and valid of my own. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Carmors (talk • contribs) 19:49, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- Carmors Your draft User:Carmors/sandbox is a MASSIVE wall of impenetrable text, with zero reliable, independent sources I cannot help you I'm afraid, the content is just not suitable for an encyclopaedia article. Theroadislong (talk) 19:57, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
Editing help Hamage Records
Good afternoon, I see you have left a message on my draft page for Hamage Records. I am in need of someone to help me with the editing to make this page more notable. I have information about one of the artists that is part of the label and I want to include the recent newspaper article written on this artist as well as some interview links. If you are able to help, please let me know.
Yours very truly,

- I'm afraid that no amount of editing can make a topic notable. In order to demonstrate notability, you need to provide multiple references to in-depth articles written about the label in unrelated, independent journals, magazines, books or online. Theroadislong (talk) 20:07, 6 December 2020 (UTC)

- Carmors I do not doubt that what you say is true, but Wikipedia articles are based on reliable sources, blogs are NOT reliable sources and your own book on him is not independent. In order to demonstrate notability, you need to provide multiple references to in-depth articles written about him in unrelated, independent journals, magazines, books or online. If there are no such sources, then we can’t have an article about them. Theroadislong (talk) 21:17, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
WARNING
If you continue to skew the Truth, I'll spend some hours making sure you are reported to the neutrality board. You can't put "pseudoscience" in this wiki, and you can't use NCSE as a source. What you are doing is against the rules of this site, and it's unethical. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Getivan (talk • contribs) 10:07, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- In 14 years of editing I haven't come across a "neutrality board"? I'm fairly confident you will shortly be blocked if you continue to remove correctly sourced content. On Wikipedia we unambiguously specify when a practice is pseudoscience and adjust the weight of articles according to the mainstream and scientific views of relevant experts in the field, supported with reliable sources (WP:RS) Theroadislong (talk) 10:15, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
Draft: Talmix
Just for clarification please- I am a financial consultant, I do not work for a recruitment company? These are two completely different things. I am a freelancer who gets connected to work, and the shift to remote work has opened up new opportunities for freelancers across the world to find better opportunities than we were able to before - this is a really important topic right now - independent workers need to be aware of the platforms like Toptal, Catalant, Comatch, Fiverr, Talmix, Beeline that are out there to connect us to work while many of us (myself included)have lost jobs during the pandemic.

Thanks a lot; But I think all sources are credible and reliable Mmmm1362 (talk) 13:48, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- Mmmm1362 But they are NOT independent! Theroadislong (talk) 13:57, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
Credible, reliable and independent... Mmmm1362 (talk) 14:06, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- no! You keep insisting that your sources are reliable and independent (click the links for more detail) these most definitely are NOT either...Ebay, Waterstones, Juniper publishers,Bokus, Morebooks, abe books, lap-publishing, edwin publishers etc etc. Theroadislong (talk) 14:12, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
Excuse me, I think these are the sources of academics and nothing else can be; Also, the following text has been extracted from your desired source:
inline citations may be allowed to e-commerce pages such as that of a book on a bookseller's page or an album on its streaming-music page, in order to verify such things as titles and running times... Mmmm1362 (talk) 14:47, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- that's correct BUT we need more than that to establish Notability and to call Ebay a source of academics is just laughable. Theroadislong (talk) 14:49, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- This site is not an academic site but can reflect an academic event; Thanks a lot Mmmm1362 (talk) 15:01, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- Ok you're making up your own guidelines now, I'm finished, please wait for another reviewer to take a look. Theroadislong (talk) 15:14, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
Following your advice, I have removed unreliable sources now. Please help me to publish this article Mmmm1362 (talk) 12:47, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
I asked the submitter on 3 November whether they had a conflict of interest. You asked, using a somewhat more strongly worded template, on 16 November, whether the submitter had a conflict of interest. Thank you. The draft was resubmitted again without addressing the question, and I have rejected the draft. Robert McClenon (talk) 16:47, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
my article was rejected because the topic is not notable for inclusion. However, this topic has been used with the idea of getting noted throughout wikipedia. i would appreciate your advice on this.. please reply as soon as your can. thank you in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Reema Hasan (talk • contribs) 17:20, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- Reema Hasan Wikipedia only reports on what has already been published. You would need to find and cite several independent published reliable sources that discuss the company in significant detail. It would need to pass the criteria at WP:NCORP also. None of your sources are independent or reliable and Wikipedia cannot be used for promotion of any sort. Theroadislong (talk) 17:33, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
Re: Nicholas Jennings (author, music historian)
Theroadislong:
I'm not sure where you get the impression that I'm being paid for this. I am not. I understand that it is Wiki policy to be completely objective and I understand the conflict of interest parameters. I assure you I'm not transgressing them.

Draft:Justine Tung
Hello, I asked for this page to be deleted a few days ago, but my friend has said he would like to view the page again. I had copied and pasted the text into a Word document as a sort of archive, however I now realise I didn't push save. Now we both want to see the page but I can't access it now. I put it on this page as it is technically an article for creation. If I could either have a plain text version of the page (including hyperlinks), or access to the complete history of the page, I would be grateful. 82.3.185.12 (talk) 08:04, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
- You would have to ask the admin who deleted it Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Justine Tung I can't help you I'm afraid. You would be wasting your time trying to publish it again though. Theroadislong (talk) 08:55, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
Suggestion for referencing non english language
Dear
I'm very new in wikipedia. Yesterday i have created a draft article on The Sylhet Chamber of Commerce Industry but it declined. I have collected most of the resources from their office and from local newspaper which publish news in Bengali language. Thats why i did not add enough references. Now Can you tell me how can i improve my article? Also should i remove the section which don't have any reference? Waiting for your response. Thanks for your valuable time.
Regards

- Your draft User:Talha13/sandbox] has only two references both of them are the organisations website. In order to demonstrate notability, you will need to provide multiple references to in-depth articles written about The Sylhet Chamber of Commerce Industry in unrelated, independent journals, magazines, books or online. Any article should be based on them alone, we have no interest in what they want to say about themselves. Theroadislong (talk) 08:59, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
Nicholas Jennings (author, music historian)
In relation to my imdb.com entries, my apologies, I thought that was an acceptable source of reference.
Many of these Canadian films no longer have corresponding websites, and imdb.com I thought was more of an official and accepted notification that they exist. I will make changes.Octopus69 (talk) 04:54, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

I would like to escalate this draft Draft:Azazus to a live article. The sources provided are from reliable newspapers & magazines. Which WP:NMUSICIAN states as exceptional citations for documented musicians. Wikipedia has a vast directory of many sources, but there is no way they can document every single news or magazine outlet out there. I assure you, the references provided are very credible. In addition to fact checking the notability of this musical artist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.123.39.33 (talk) 21:52, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

Do you want to become an admin?
Hello Theroadislong, I was just wondering if you have plans to become an admin in the future - it occurs to me that you're on the most experienced Wikipedians here with such a good track record, but it appears you haven't ever gone through a RfA which is surprising. I'd be willing to nominate you if you want to become an admin, but I understand if you'd rather stay as you are :-) Pahunkat (talk) 14:07, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Theroadislong (talk) 17:29, 10 December 2020 (UTC) There is an article that you oversaw much of the process of that I don't feel comfortable discussing openly due to safety. I apologize that this is so vague, but I would be very grateful if there was a way to get in touch. If there truly is no other way or you do not feel comfortable, then I won't bother you further. New Page Patrol December Newsletter
Hello Theroadislong,
- Year in review
It has been a productive year for New Page Patrol as we've roughly cut the size of the New Page Patrol queue in half this year. We have been fortunate to have a lot of great work done by Rosguill who was the reviewer of the most pages and redirects this past year. Thanks and credit go to JTtheOG and Onel5969 who join Rosguill in repeating in the top 10 from last year. Thanks to John B123, Hughesdarren, and Mccapra who all got the NPR permission this year and joined the top 10. Also new to the top ten is DannyS712 bot III, programmed by DannyS712 which has helped to dramatically reduce the number of redirects that have needed human patrolling by patrolling certain types of redirects (e.g. for differences in accents) and by also patrolling editors who are on on the redirect whitelist.
Rank | Username | Num reviews | Log |

9 | Hughesdarren (talk) | 4,520 | Patrol Page Curation |
10 | Utopes (talk) | 3,958 | Patrol Page Curation |
- Reviewer of the Year
John B123 has been named reviewer of the year for 2020. John has held the permission for just over 6 months and in that time has helped cut into the queue by reviewing more than 18,000 articles. His talk page shows his efforts to communicate with users, upholding NPP's goal of nurturing new users and quality over quantity.
- NPP Technical Achievement Award
As a special recognition and thank you DannyS712 has been awarded the first NPP Technical Achievement Award. His work programming the bot has helped us patrol redirects tremendously - more than 60,000 redirects this past year. This has been a large contribution to New Page Patrol and definitely is worthy of recognition.

COI Clarification
Hello Theroadislong,
Thank you for the advice! — Preceding unsigned comment added by TherealMDB (talk • contribs) 02:16, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
As a new member of Wikipedia, I was unaware of the conflict of interest (COI) issue with mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements, and I apologize for that. My situation is slightly complicated, so I wanted to share it with you on your Talk page.
I am an intern at ZetrOZ Systems, and my supervisor wanted me to work with the other intern to write a Wikipedia article about the company. However, I want to reiterate that I had no intentions of making the article promotional; I merely saw that the company page could fill a niche within Wikipedia about therapeutic ultrasound.
If this was a long-term employment opportunity, I would have included the {{Paid}} template on my User page tonight. However, my internship ends in less than 2 weeks, so it will probably be more beneficial for me to simply mark my draft for speedy deletion. ZetrOZ is still a relatively small company, so it may also be better if I wait for the company to expand before attempting another draft after my internship. This would also mean that there should be more reliable sources to make the company notable, which was the original reason why my draft was declined.
If I do decide to pursue this draft in the future, I will make sure to add the {{Paid}} template to my User page and explain the COI.
Happy holidays!
TherealMDB (talk) 02:11, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
Hey can you've a look at it again?
Hey, I am the writer for Elgi Equipment and you had previously put my article into the draft. But I had moved it after making changes. But I have been constantly been tagged on titles where my edits seemed 'paid', they said. I would love it if you could review it again, as I am trying my level best to add materials based on the entity to my knowledge. I have been working on a collection of all the materials for the past several months and the article is only meant to be part of the knowledge sharing database that Wikipedia has. Please let me know the specifics and I will try my level best to make it better. FYI I have gone through every line of AfC, CoI and every rule that you've sent to me.
Cheers
I'll be waiting for your reply. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dankeshankar (talk • contribs) 05:10, 11 December 2020 (UTC)

- Your draft Draft:Soham Rockstar Entertainment (SRE) has been rejected which means it will not be considered further, you have zero independent reliable sources, so zero chance of being accepted.Theroadislong (talk) 16:53, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

- You can re-submit but it will be rejected again, because you have zero reliable sources. IMDb is NOT a suitable source for anything on Wikipedia because it is user edited, likewise Wikipedia. Declined Page
Hi there!
You declined my page to be published! It's Noelle Cameron. May I have an example of the sources that I need?
I am an actor and the article was written by me and I tried to pull as many sources as possible to prove that it is reliable. I included an extensive article about me from Voyage ATL, my IMDB page, which has to go through several levels of gatekeepers to have all of my credits approved, as well as my website where I include a biography about myself. If having a more extensive biography -- my entire history -- would have my wikipage approved, I will do that. I just don't know how much more extensive I can get. Having a wiki page is really good for SEO and as an up and coming actor it's really important to me that I advance and work as hard as I can.
Noellecameron (talk) 15:13, 13 December 2020 (UTC) Noelle Cameron
- Facebook, IMDb, resumes.actorsaccess.com, YouTube and interviews are NOT suitable sources see reliable sources for more advice on what constitues a reliable source, creating an article on Wikipedia is one of the most difficult tasks, creating one about your self is doubly difficult, in fat in 14 years of editing I can't recall anybody doing it successfully, if you really are notable in Wikipedia terms somebody unconnected with you will very soon create an article. Revised Content for Piramal Realty
Hello! Based on your feedback, I have removed the material from the content that may have looked promotional. The revised content now adheres to the policy of Wikipedia. Reference links have been updated as well, apart from the content. Just so that the content doesn't look advertised. Please have a look at it again and review the article. Also, it is to be noted that I am not associated with Piramal Realty in any way. Thus, I won't be remunerated for the content I am writing. Lockdown gave me time to look at editing or creating a page to describe Offwestend - an organisation I'd come across as a theatre enthusiast, and arguably it seems, one of the most important alongside the Oliviers in supporting theatre - and notably not very particularly documented on Wikipedia. This led me via a circuitous route to speaking to one of its' founders, who I soon discovered had worked with other arts giants, and whose own wiki pages did not carry points of detail she referred to. I soon decided to start with a page outlining her own arts philanthropy, and felt that founding Offwestend would be reason enough to warrant an entry. I held back uploading too many supporting photographs to awards, referring to image submission guidelines, and galleries. I'd welcome your further comments about the draft, in case i need to slim it down, or address some citations, or indeed upload some more supporting images.
Kind regards BE Lowe (talk) 14:53, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- You may not be being paid, but you have what we call a conflict of interest if you have been in contact with the subject, and this would explain the large amount of unsourced content. All content requires independent reliable sources. Theroadislong (talk) 14:58, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
Draft:Picard Brothers
Hello, I confirm to you that I am not being paid to write this article. Actually, I'm a big fan of their music, and I am very interested in songwriters and music producers in general, and I feel like they deserve to be recognized just as much as artists do. They are the ones creating the music but no one knows about them, most of the time. I am a true supporter of the fight for Spotify/Youtube/Apple to pay songwriters like they should do. My father was a songwriter too so it's just a very close subject to me because I grew up looking at all the credits of albums we had at home. I also am French and we do not have a lot of French songwriters who worked with Beyoncé and Mark Ronson (I actually believe they are the first ones) which is why I believe they should be recognized for what they did, on the international scene. Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by KennyParis (talk • contribs) 15:17, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
The Daily Star (Bangladesh) as unreliable source
(re your review of Draft:Danny Gonzalez): The Daily Star references in the article is The Daily Star (Bangladesh), not Daily Star (United Kingdom) which is listed at WP:RSP. I'm no expert in Bangladeshi newspapers, but I as far as I know the Bangadeshi newspaper is a reliable source. Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong. --Bangalamania (talk) 23:42, 14 December 2020 (UTC)
- You are of course correct, my mistake. Theroadislong (talk) 08:33, 15 December 2020 (UTC)

Question about Draft:Emu Music
Hi there Theroadislong!
Thanks for your comment on my draft for an Emu Music page. I'd love to know your thoughts on how to make it less like an advert. I was attempting to make it similar to, for example, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keith_%26_Kristyn_Getty or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stuart_Townend_(musician). Any help would be appreciated!
All the best. AJMG101 AJMG101 (talk) 13:57, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
- The draft was totally unacceptable and read nothing like a Wikipedia article, with zero independent sources, looking at other poor quality articles isn't helpful. What is your conflict of interest I wonder? Theroadislong (talk) 14:05, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
AloPeyk
I mentioned my concerns in my TP. I wonder if you take a look at it and tell me what should I do exactly? On the other hand, the draft was copyedited yesterday. Have the problems been fixed?Hispring (talk) 16:58, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
- Re: Draft:AloPeyk "Along with other delivery platforms, AloPeyk is the fastest one in Tehran" makes no sense either it is the fastest or it isn't? What does the source actually say? "As part of its expansion, the company announced its intention to introduce an online marketplace, AloMarket" is just promotional marketing. Do you have a conflict of interest here by any chance? Theroadislong (talk) 17:07, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for your response. Does this sentence make more sense, "Among other online delivery platforms, AloPeyk delivers items in the fastest time in Tehran"? Do you mean to remove the sentence about AloMarket? If I mention that Alopeyk services include Alomarket, It could be an advertorial. Source says that The startup’s CEO Mehdi Nayebi told Financial Tribune, “The move is in line with the company’s plan to introduce an online marketplace, AloMarket.”“AloMarket is to be an on-demand online grocery shop. Unlike most Internet-based retailers in Iran, orders placed with AloMarket are to be delivered under an hour of registration,” he added.Hispring (talk) 17:07, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hispring I'm sorry no it doesn't make sense to me, it is just marketing/advertising and has no place in a Wikipedia article. Theroadislong (talk) 17:17, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- OK. I understand your concern. I removed both sentences. Is there any problem?Hispring (talk) 17:36, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- As you mentioned some issues related to sources, I removed some sources that were the interview. On the other hand, I found some RSes that criticize Alopeyk or its app such as charkhoneh magezine, digiato, asreertebat or giving new services since the outbreak of coronavirus. What do you mean exactly by WP:NCORP? Which kind of sources are needed? Thanks for your help.Hispring (talk) 13:48, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

- WP:NCORP is self explanatory if you read it, this is the criteria that the draft needs to pass in order to be accepted, sources need to be significant coverage, reliable and independent. Theroadislong (talk) 16:27, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

@Theroadislong:, I made some edits to the draft. 7 used sources for the first sentences were decreased to just one source. Are there any issues with the draft? Hello, and as an fyi - since your review of this page on July 24, 2020, there have been a variety of additional sources published about Aurora James and more editing done on the article, including to incorporate new sources. I think it could be ready for publishing if you would review it again. Thank you very much, Beccaynr (talk) 18:07, 16 December 2020 (UTC)

Hello Not sure where you are calling from but I am on the PST time Zone so a good time to discuss my draft would be after 11 am Saturday December 19 as I would like to get your imput after I had inserted my only available references as this team played oiver 40 years ago in Victoria BC Canada and I was the owner. I would also appreciate your input on my other draft of the team I purchased in 1979 which became the Blues in 1980. this is its web address https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Victoria_Mussels. Thank you for viewing and we will talk soon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iamthewiseguy (talk • contribs) 21:43, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
I am trying to edit this draft with what I have or can get. This team operated in 1979 over 41 years ago so most of what I have inserted is how it happened. I became the owner after the 79 season and changed name to Victoria Blues which is also under draft. Just please explain to me what I have to amend in both drafts in order to get them published as people in today's baseball world are waiting to see my results. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.157.149.201 (talk) 22:12, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
- You will need to find and cite several independent published reliable sources that discuss the team in significant detail. As you were the owner you should also declare your conflict of interest. Theroadislong (talk) 22:15, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
I would just like to comment, for the record, I am not being paid to do this draft!! I am doing it to correct wrongs and assumptions made today by sports writers that were never there in 1980! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iamthewiseguy (talk • contribs) 22:34, 18 December 2020 (UTC)

- Iamthewiseguy I'm afraid you have mis-understood how Wikipedia works, you will need to provide multiple references to in-depth articles written about the team in unrelated, independent journals, magazines, books or online. Any article should be based on them alone, we have no interest in what you want to say about your team and we are not here to correct great wrongs. Theroadislong (talk) 22:42, 18 December 2020 (UTC)

- Iamthewiseguy It is nowhere near being acceptable as a draft, as I have mentioned a number of times, none of the sources are suitable, they are too incomplete to verify, have you read WP:REFB yet? See Eugene Emeralds for an example of what is required style wise. Theroadislong (talk) 19:26, 19 December 2020 (UTC)
Cecily Jordan Farrar
I just saw your recent edit of one of mine when I decided to clean up the citation format of further reading. As an afterthought, adding an annotation to explain what it adds further to the article Then, I saw you jumped in to delete part of my edit, and it brought back memories. It good to know that you are still keeping the article in good shape, It brought back memories of how your interactions with Oldperson ended with the article's content getting trashed and the article nearly deleted. It was frustrating at the time, but I think the end result- where you agreed to let me give a shot at salvaging the article-keeps the article looking good. It also encouraged me to expand a couple of other articles to broaden Jordan Farrar's context.
In terms of your edit, a Wikipedia veteran like you know that annotations for further reading are legit, even if there's still a bit of controversy: Wikipedia:Further reading. My opinion remains that an annotation would have been helpful, though I could imagine it could be worded to appear more neutral to an outside reader. But, if its to your taste to not add annotations, I'll go with your call on this one. In a sense, your openness to reworking the article when it was nearly deleted makes you a founding co-editor of its most recent avatar. And I think it remains a far more solid article than it was before the dust up. Thanks for the memories! (And enjoy the holidays!) Wtfiv (talk) 18:29, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
(And, as you can see, I remain an editor who still putzes with my wording multiple times after publishing...Even on talk pages!...It's just my style, hopefully it doesn't ping you multiple times! I just wanted to say "hi".)
P. S. As an afterthought, do you know any template magic for pointing a reference toward a page in a Google book that is an ebook without page numbers. That's what I was working on during that Cecily Jordan edit after I added the Chapter to the template. I couldn't find a solution and it seems it may not exist...)
- You are attempting to use the citation template for a further reading list and it’s really not required, you can just simply put the details of the book Brandon Marie Miller, Women of Colonial America: 13 Stories of Courage and Survival in the New World, Chicago Review Press 2016. Keep it simple! Happy holidays to you too.Theroadislong (talk) 19:40, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks. My editing preference is to get as close to source as possible as you can to the source so when someone clicks it, they see it In this case, book is okay, chapter is better. That way, if a reader clicked the link, they'd see the chapter reference immediately. That's my simple (but for readers) But like annotations, these are editor preferences. I take it that you weren't the source to ask about the template magic, if there is way. It never hurts to try! Again, enjoy the holidays! And keep on trekking down that road! Hi Theroadislong! Thank you for taking a look at my page, I'm struggling a little to figure out how to make this page without it getting taken down. From your comment "This draft contains content copied and pasted from https://www.dementiauk.org/about-us/our-people/honorary-president/" I did try to reword this. Would you like me to edit this section alone or are there other parts that need reworking?? You mentioned it sounds a bit like an advertisement, I did try to keep to factual information without embellishments as much as I could and used a few outside sources to cover notability, could you give any specific notes or particular problem areas that I can address? Thank you again for all you help! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lydia DUK (talk • contribs) 17:26, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- 9 of your references are to your own website, Wikipedia has essentially no interest in anything the organisation has to say about themselves. It is only interested in what people who have no connection with them have chosen to publish about them. The article should be limited to a summary of what such independent sources have said about them. Theroadislong (talk) 17:32, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi Theroadislong: I got your note of Dec. 21 on the subject article. I highly appreciate your further details about "significant coverage" especially that I'm new to Wikipedia. The article might be considered basic and niche and the references cited are not mass media names but the majority of them have very good domain authority (60+); can such references be sufficient by any chance?
