Hi, The flamingo, welcome to WikiProject Civil Engineering!

We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying, categorizing, and improving articles related to Civil engineering. Some points that may be helpful:

Our main aim is to help improve Civil engineering-related articles, so if someone asks for help with an article, please try your hardest to help them if you are able.
Project-wide affecting discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
The project has several ongoing and developing activities, such as article quality assessment, of which you are welcome to take part in.
If you're not sure how to help, take a quick look at our To Do list for ideas.

Welcome to the project, I have included above both the standard Wikipedia welcome and the civil engineering wikiproject one both have some useful links. With regards to WP:CEng we are a small group of (mostly) engineers or engineering students who try to improve wikipedia's coverage of the topic, all useful edits to all of our articles are welcomed and although the main project page doesn't see too many changes there are always members improving articles and occasionally reporting back. We have no ahrd and fast rules about what to edit, although we do not tend to include individual projects such as bridges or roads, please feel free to carry on editing whatever you like (though I note your good work at Deformation Monitoring related pages) as often or as little as you please.
