DYK for Amalric of Nesle
[edit]On 1 December 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Amalric of Nesle, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Patriarch Amalric was, according to the archbishop of Tyre, "reasonably well educated but bereft of intelligence and virtually useless"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Amalric of Nesle. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Amalric of Nesle), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

George H. W. Bush infobox
[edit]Thank you for cutting out some of the minor offices from this infobox. Your rationale, that offices were not mentioned anywhere in the text, is valid, and as I look at other articles about U.S. presidents, I will be keeping that in mind!
BTW I chuckled at "behemothous", but if you needed a more conventional word, "bloated" might not be bad. Bruce leverett (talk) 01:31, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- Haha, thanks, Bruce. Unconventional sizes inspire unconventional words! Surtsicna (talk) 09:26, 16 December 2024 (UTC)

Numberings
[edit]Hello. Why differentiate Hillary Clinton from all the other US secretary of state bios? If you're going to delete the numbering from the intro, it's best to delete it from all former & current US cabinet members. At the very least the current members, which will get you more input. Anyways, I've mentioned the potential for numbering removement at Antony Blinken's talkpage. GoodDay (talk) 23:49, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
