A tag has been placed on Draft:Ashfika Rahman, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. I am new to Wikipedia editing. The article I am trying to write about Ashfika Rahman is a paid article. I thought paid articles are allowed on wikipedia. What am I missing? Oleff (talk) 18:54, 9 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Have you read Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view? Deb (talk) 16:10, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I just read the paid-contribution disclosure and neutral point of view articles. So, what I understand is that I have to write the following on the Article Talk page to disclose that this is a paid contribution?
{{Connected contributor (paid)|User1=Oleff|U1-client=Ashfika Rahman}}
And about NPOV what I understand is I have to put citations from reliable third party sources to backup all that I wrote in the article. I wasn't finished with editing the article before it was deleted. All the info I put in it are backed up by various third party sources like news, art journals, international art galleries who are not related to the artist Ashfika Rahman I was writing about etc. What I understood that I should submit the article for a Review after at least 10 edits? And I have up to 6 months to edit and add references and citations to a draft before I submit it for a review, otherwise it would be deleted.
Seeking guidance please help. Oleff (talk) 17:02, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I think the artist is notable enough as she has been widely covered in reliable third party sources like:
