WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES and Wikipedia:Soldier Should have been retained. They were a good standard for the encyclopedia. The growth of the encyclopedia has led an unnecessary push to make notability guidelines more restrictive. I miss them but I understand the community has spoken and my views were outvoted.
Death by drafitification is an inglorious way for articles to die. Articles that would have likely survived AFD, no way of knowing since they were not given the chance, are sent to draft space for whatever reason. After a few months are deleted as abandoned draft. Draftification rarely improves the article.
Four barnstars for going out of your way to save 21Vianet from deletion by adding outstanding citations. Thank you! Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 15:32, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

You are doing great work on the Nawabs of Bengal and Murshidabad article! :D Keep up with the great work. Hoping to see some more fine edits. And considering the fact that I am quite busy with my real life and that no one else except you is working on the article, you are now the only hope for that article not being de-listed from the GA list. So keep up. And all the best Vinegarymass911! :D Enjoy editing! ;) ^_^ Tamravidhir (talk!) 19:22, 6 May 2016 (UTC)

The Bangladesh Barnstar of National Merit
Thank you for writing Kamal Ahmed Majumder. It gives an unexpected boost in utility to my recent Dhaka-15. My editing tends to be gnomish, but I've set myself a personal goal this year of creating an article for each parliamentary constituency, before Bangladesh's elections in December. They'll be light on prose, but will, I hope, be a useful addition to the encyclopedia, knitting together articles on politicians, parties, places, and elections. You seem to have an inexhaustible supply of ideas for Bangladesh-related stubs, but if you need more, I expect the constituency articles I grind out will have plenty of red-linked current and former MPs that your research skills could turn blue. I'd like to think that a better Wikipedia leads to better informed electorates, and perhaps better candidates, discourse, and decisions. 'Tho looking at the U.S., there isn't much evidence of that. --Worldbruce (talk) 08:20, 13 February 2018 (UTC)
