Disambiguation link notification for September 11
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Artur Beterbiev, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lineal (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:34, 11 September 2019 (UTC)

~ Hello ~
[edit] On your edits to Dana White, you doing a great job! I filled in 1 bare reference and left the others for you to complete if you wish. Here is a great place to start Template:Cite web.
I find this to be one of my favorites ~ :{{cite web |url= |title= |last= |first= |date= |work= |access-date=}}
,all you have to do is click on <ref></ref>
next to Cite your sources at the bottom of the screen of the article you are editing and insert the {{cite}}
template in between the <ref> </ref>
. Once again great job and nice to meet you ~mitch~ (talk) 15:48, 1 October 2019 (UTC)

Edit summaries are very important
[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Anomalous+0 (talk) 19:28, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
- PS - I see that another editor brought this up last year, and you promised to do better. Please take this seriously going forward. Anomalous+0 (talk) 19:34, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
UFC ranking
[edit]Hi Nicholas. Good day and thank you for updating UFC ranking on fighter pages. Pls do remember to change the ref date as well as it states "As of September 30, 2019....." but the ref date is before Sep 30, 2019. Just change the ref date to the date when you edit the page. Also, if you want to update the ranking pls do for "all" fighters all division (male and female). (I have changed the ref date all the fighters for this week) Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 09:31, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
Thank you for the comment. I will do so going forwards! NICHOLAS NEEDLEHAM (talk) 16:17, 8 October 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Mandatory challenger
[edit]Good article mate. There's actually a bob load of instances I've found for links. Best thing to do in these situations is type 'Mandatory challenger' into the search bar then click "Search within pages" that's above the result of the actual page (it took me months to notice it was there lol). I added links in every page up to Tyson Fury's, which I saw you added one to it. I’ll do some more tomorrow as well. – 2.O.Boxing 00:35, 13 March 2020 (UTC)

the Dana White page
[edit]I saw that you removed the "Loretta Hunt and GLAAD" section (you called it a "storm in a teacup"). I don't agree, ESPECIALLY since that GLAAD obviously isn't some minor organization. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Afm2105 (talk • contribs) 17:05, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
added later: I added that section back in. If you want to take it out again, you might as well bring this to Wikipedia's dispute resolution.

File permission problem with File:Emily Jones.jpeg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Emily Jones.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 20:15, 30 September 2021 (UTC)

December 2022
[edit]Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. 331dot (talk) 22:14, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
Fair play. I forgot about this rule. I've been trying to add sources and elucidate the content dispute along the way, but I shouldn't be going back and forth with the edits. True! NICHOLAS NEEDLEHAM (talk) 22:25, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
