Deletion notice

Hi, I noticed you relisted Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gardenista. I did a rewrite of the whole page, and while the initial deletion notice was closed with keep as result, the relisted notice is appearing in limbo. Could you help facilitating closure of the relisting you started? EricAhlqvistScott (talk) 20:30, 28 January 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for bringing this to my attention! I relisted it - let's see if that worked! Missvain (talk) 20:34, 28 January 2020 (UTC)

Are You A Magician ?

How do you do what you do? Where you seem to know Reliable sources from any nation & bring it into light. For example what you did here at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Woli Arole you aren’t Nigerian & I’m not sure you’ve ever visited the Nation but regardless you still intelligently weighed in with your own rationale & provided solid RS, that part gets me wowed because I think I have seen you do it severally with other articles pertaining to other nations. Salute !!! Celestina007 (talk) 12:07, 22 January 2020 (UTC)

Hahaha, thanks Celestina007. I see you surely have been, what a life you've led. I notice a lot of Nigerian articles often come up at AfD because people aren't familiar with the sourcing. I've spent some time trying to learn more about Nigerian newspapers and media publications, so I'm trying to get more familiar so we can be more inclusive when it comes to new articles and keeping AfD articles regarding Nigeria. I'm so glad to know you have "on the boots" experience there - do you mind if I occasionally tag you in AfD's or if I find something curious that you might be able to lend more insight into regarding Nigerian articles and sourcing? Missvain (talk) 15:37, 22 January 2020 (UTC)
Oh my of course! you most certainly can tag me whenever you want to. Celestina007 (talk) 15:43, 22 January 2020 (UTC)
Thank you! Missvain (talk) 15:44, 22 January 2020 (UTC)

AfD for Joseph Gallo closed as "keep"

@Missvain:

I assume this was in error, but didn't want to make the correction without confirming with you first, on the talkpage for Joseph Gatto (comedian), in the old AfD tag you added, it links to your closed deletion discussion for Sal Vulcano. I noted BD2412 just did something very similar at MfD, so it is an easy mistake when closing XfDs.

Cheers,
--Doug Mehus T·C 00:05, 29 January 2020 (UTC)

Hi! I closed this Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sal Vulcano as keep and that included all the nominated articles. There were three in total. Missvain (talk) 00:08, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
Missvain, Oh, so Joseph Gatto (comedian) was part of Sal Vulcano AfD? Doug Mehus T·C 00:11, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
Missvain, Thank you, nevermind. I see that now. Apologies for my posting this. Doug Mehus T·C 00:12, 29 January 2020 (UTC)

T. G. Mohandas

Dear,@Missvain:This is the second discussion here that has been formed due to some political rivalry of a person. There is many significant coverage in independent reliable sources, which prove the notability of T. G. Mohandas,it is clear in the first discussion. But now the page has been wrongly deleted with no way to tell what exactly was deleted.....!! I would like to extend the article by adding more information about him from reliable sources .So we humbly request you, Please revive this deleted Page.

Thanks-- Padavalam Kuttan Pilla  Talk  10:38, 29 January 2020 (UTC)

Hi Padavalamkuttanpilla, sorry, I was unable to see proof of reliable secondary sources that help the subject pass notability guidelines. You will have to contest this "un"-deletion at WP:DELETIONREVIEW or if you wish, I can move it to a draft space or to your user space. Missvain (talk) 16:04, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
@Missvain: I don't know very much about undeletion procedures , and I don't know who created this article,if you move it to the draft space or my user space it can be very helpful to make this article better by adding reliable secondary sources.-- Padavalam Kuttan Pilla  Talk  17:48, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
@Padavalamkuttanpilla: You can find the article here Draft:T. G. Mohandas. I suggest submitting it through Articles for Creation rather than just publishing the new article when you're finished. Thanks for your contributions! Missvain (talk) 18:25, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
@Missvain: Thank you very much -- Padavalam Kuttan Pilla  Talk  18:30, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
I have just observed when this draft was restored it was done by cut-and-paste resulting in a failure to attribute content ... failing Wikipedia:ATTREQ. Please indicate how you wish to resolve this. Thankyou.Djm-leighpark (talk) 17:19, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
@Djm-leighpark: - Sorry about that. You can find a moved version with the history here: Draft:T. G. Mohandas 2. You two will have to merge your edits into it. Sorry again. Missvain (talk) 18:39, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for your support. .. I'll sort the update on the new page etc etc. Sorry to be a pain Missvain, Can you refund the talk page as well? It may have nothing on it but I tend to think a article page and it talk page (and child subpages) are married and should stay together when possible through thick and thin. thanks.Djm-leighpark (talk) 19:22, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
Clearly I am failing epically here. I just fixed that. I'm so sorry! Today must not be my day. Missvain (talk) 21:06, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
No probs, all now sorted, amongst the shunting your cut/paste refund has ended up at Draft:T. G. Mohandas (bad fork) and you might want to organise its deletion or otherwise handle it as I won't be able to G7. It could be left for a G13 but without the In-use at the top it might just get to be a problem. Thanks. Djm-leighpark (talk) 19:58, 31 January 2020 (UTC)

Disambig page

Greetings. Would you or one of your talkpage followers be so kind as to move Grace Methodist Episcopal Church (disambiguation) over the redirect to one of the pages that goes by this name at Grace Methodist Episcopal Church? It seems that somehow this step was missed in the past. I can't see how fixing it would be controversial. I tried following the technical procedures but I am not advanced enough to follow the instructions. Thanks.FloridaArmy (talk) 19:44, 1 February 2020 (UTC)

Done! @FloridaArmy: – Sorry I haven't gotten to reviewing your other articles yet. I have a few other things I want to finish up then I'm going out of town (confession: Disneyland) next week so I'll look when I get back! Missvain (talk) 19:46, 1 February 2020 (UTC)
Can the Grace Methodist Episcopal Church (disambiguation) be moved over the redirect at Grace Methodist Episcopal Church? I don't think the (disambiguation) or redirect to that name are needed. Thanks! Happy travels. I am very appreciative of all you help and feel bad for asking for so much. User:Legacypac did a great deal for me before they retired. FloridaArmy (talk) 19:52, 1 February 2020 (UTC)
Awe, Legacypac was a great editor! I wasn't aware they retired. I don't see any isues with the disambiguation. It looks like Grace Methodist Episcopal Church goes directly the disambiguation page. I'm confused! Missvain (talk)

Hi, I notice you use reFill. This is a useful tool but sometimes introduces errors, most frequently inserting the unsupported parameter "|deadurl=y" instead of "|url-status=dead", such as here. Deleted Article

Dear Missvain,

I saw the notification that the article written by me on Preeti Chandrakant was marked for deletion. I did not realize that I would need to respond in ten days. I was traveling and when I got back and checked I saw that the article has been deleted by you. Wikipedia suggests to write to you first regarding this matter.

The article was referenced with many print publications whose matter has not been put online. These are largely German and Swiss national dailies and weeklies and some Indian dailies and weeklies. I would like to rework the article with scanned copies of these published articles.

I am relatively new to writing on Wikipedia and still figuring out how it works and what is acceptable and what isn’t. And what the referencing policy is. In hindsight I realise I should have asked for help.

May I request a copy of the source code of the article you have deleted so that I can rework it in sandbox and once completed, submit it to you for review and inputs.

Warm regards from Mumbai,

Neocreator (talk) 05:55, 3 February 2020 (UTC)

Missvain why did my company's page Solar Energy World get deleted? We had a rival company posting improper articles to the page and I deleted them and now the page has been deleted. Any information would be incredibly useful. Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rgill.solar (talkcontribs) 19:34, 27 January 2020 (UTC)

Hello Rgill.solar – It appears the article failed to meet our inclusion guidelines for corporations and companies. Perhaps if the solar company gets significant coverage in mainstream media, that could change. If you feel that the article was unjustly deleted, you can dispute it at deletion review, but please note conflict of interest policies regarding editing/contributing content about the company you own or work for. Thank you! Missvain (talk) 20:45, 27 January 2020 (UTC)

If a fresh version of Jy Ding was created in draft for review, what would mean it would be accepted the next time? I'm struggling to see why Jy Ding was deleted when for example Fayun is okay. Is it just a lack of reputable sources? What can I do to make the page better? Zenothing (talk) 14:14, 30 January 2020 (UTC)

@Zenothing: - The reason it was deleted is because it failed general notability guidelines. You can read the deletion process here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jy Ding. Just because another article exists of a similar subject matter, doesn't mean it should or that other articles that are poorly sourced or do not meet our inclusion guidelines should have an article. You can read about that, here: WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. You have to ensure that a subject meets general notability guidelines: meaning it is written about in reliable secondary sources, which you can read about here: WP:RS. That means extensive coverage about the subject in magazines, newspapers, books, journal articles. Not just passing mentions. They can be sources in any language. You're welcome to create a draft of it, and submit it through WP:Articles for Creation to see if it will be accepted. The editors there will provide feedback to you to improve it, if they reject it. I hope this helps! Missvain (talk) 18:42, 30 January 2020 (UTC)

Can you please restore this plus talk page, I was not pinged into this AfD, the sources provided established notability. I have no issues relisting this if desired. I'll ping the AfD nominator if he/she wishes to renominate. Valoem talk contrib 11:31, 3 February 2020 (UTC)

Peep peep

Hi, Missvain, I stumbled onto things arbspace today, and, seeing your name, I was reminded of the stuff we used to do at the Teahouse way back when. I'm sad that Wikipedia is/has been rough, and I just wanted to drop an affirmation that you are good and have done good things for Wikipedia. Thanks, Writ Keeper  15:30, 12 February 2020 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thanks for all the work you do! :) LittleChongsto (talk) 19:28, 19 February 2020 (UTC)

Please refund BJP Mahila Morcha to draftification. Very unsure the Women's wing organisation of a major party in India should be deleted even and at a minimum should have been a redirect. Minimal participation by nom. and one other who other work together and who have fairly swamped AFD. We also have sparebug blocked from participating. Thanks. Djm-leighpark (talk) 08:02, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

And please refund the talk page as well. (if any). Thanks.Djm-leighpark (talk) 08:09, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
I take strong exception to this blatant violation of wP:ASPERSION by Djm-leighpark who is accusing editors (who watch Indian AfD list ) of connivance simply because he disagrees with people who hold a different opinion than him in an AfD. DjM you are hereby warned not to repeat this again. If continued I will take this forward for admin intervention and a formal restriction.
If you believe someone has mistaken then follow the formal process without bad mouthing people.
AFAICS there is no SIGCOV of this wing and Djm would need to produce hard evidence in the form of the links and not just accusation of bad faith to claim that the article is merited. Since they are lacking, I oppose moving this page to the draft. --DBigXray 13:11, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
(edit conflict prepared prior to DBigXray's post) Actually my understanding is the the women's wing of the BJP, the largest party in India, pop. 900m. I cannot comprehend how this is not notable; and the very minimum a redirect / merge to the BJP was not the result. I am concerned this was a WP:VAGUEWAVE nomination by S. M. Nazmus Shakib with minimal participation DBigXray and should not have been deleted. As such I would like you to reconsider. Given the length of time that has passed I suggest DRV. Thankyou.Djm-leighpark (talk) 13:23, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

Consolidating (Also noting Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/All India Mahila Congress which is equivalent wing for another party) which is a comparable article subject:

  • @MissVain, to state the reasonable obvious if you choose not to draftify I would question that decision and take it to AfD
  • @MissVain, I am questioning your good faith judgement on this one as a closer on this one possibly due to a WP:VAGUEWAVE nomination by the nom. which you perhaps should have taken into account. I will listen to your views on this, and then may consider whether to take to DRV but I will likely force that if I can stay within WP:DRVPURPOSE which can sometimes be quite tricky. All said it may be worth this goes to DRV anyway. Thankyou.Djm-leighpark (talk) 13:37, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
  • @DBigXray .. I see you have placed warning(s) on my talkpage and I have responded there.

Thankyou.Djm-leighpark (talk) 13:37, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

Hi there. Wow, this is a little more than I really can deal with mentally right now (I have some family stuff going on offline). User:Djm-leighpark, due to what has become a sensitive situation, I would prefer if you would take your request to Wikipedia:Deletion review, and if there is concern about the other articles, then please consider taking those there, too. I'm sorry, but, I think it's for the best. Thank you! (And everyone - please try to keep this civil. I hate to see anything end up in ANI!). Missvain (talk) 17:07, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
@Missvain, please deal with RL first and my best wishes for a good outcome. If I do take to DRV you'll obvious get a notice here and obviously I will have to ask the question of the closing of the AfD but dont take that personally ... you're a star from what I can see of your work! Djm-leighpark (talk) 18:09, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

An editor has asked for a deletion review of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/BJP Mahila Morcha. Because you closed the deletion discussion for this page, speedily deleted it, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the deletion review. An arbitration case regarding Kudpung has now closed and the final decision is viewable at the link above. The following remedies have been enacted:

  • For his failure to meet the conduct standards expected of an administrator, Kudpung's administrative user rights are removed. He may regain them at any time via a successful request for adminship.
  • Kudpung is admonished for failing to meet the conduct standards expected of an administrator. In future, he is urged to ensure that he remains civil in his interactions with both new and regular editors, and responds to feedback on his conduct objectively and with an assumption of good faith.
  • Arbitration is supposed to be the final step in the dispute resolution process. The community is reminded that attempting to have a community-wide discussion of problematic behavior early on can prevent unnecessary escalations.

Draft with a very long title

Hi! On 15 September last year you blanked Draft:Robert Frederick Smith School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering for the copyright violations, but didn't list it at Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2019 September 15 and – as far as I can see – didn't notify either of the two editors of the blanking. You then added a G12 tag, which for some unfathomable reason seems to have stayed dormant until now. What did you mean to happen the page – listing at WP:CP for cleanup, or speedy deletion? The initial version was also a blatant copyvio, BTW. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 16:02, 3 March 2020 (UTC)

Hi! I don't even remember that draft. Clearly I dropped the ball on finishing some component of the copyvio process. Sorry about that. I don't know what my intentions were (::::so many edits, so little memory). I went ahead and informed both the main editors on the article about the copyvio and dropped a template on today's copyvio reporting page. Sorry! Missvain (talk) 16:46, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
It happens – wouldn't it be good if Twinkle would do all those steps for us? Anyway, I've removed the speedy tag on the assumption that it was placed in error, please restore it if I'm wrong about that. Regards, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 21:33, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
Justlettersandnumbers - Yes, it would be. Thanks so much for your due diligence and helping clean up my attempt at cleaning up. I appreciate it and all you do for Wikipedia! Missvain (talk) 22:00, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
I've removed the copyright violation. Didn't revdel because I thought that it would be a little excessive since it was only a small paragraph; that said, I thank you for your efforts to keep the draft space free of copyright. Money emoji💵Talk💸Help out at CCI! 22:57, 3 March 2020 (UTC)

Hi, could you please consider reviewing this draft? I am almost done and I believe it satisfies WP:SIGCOV, WP:BASIC, and WP:ENTERTAINER. Hi there. If you can submit it through the AfD AfC process, that would be great. I'm also not as familiar with that genre of music/entertainment, let alone Indian pop music. I did see, at a quick glance, you used Facebook as a citation. Please remove it, and the material it's citing. It also reads very promotional - I see "very popular" "positively received and garnered attention" "particularly praised" - just a heads up, people will see that as promoting the subject, versus writing a boring Wikipedia article. Missvain (talk) 15:14, 5 March 2020 (UTC)

This is a tough case. I'll have to spend more time looking at the sourcing. Missvain (talk) 17:48, 9 March 2020 (UTC)

Question

Hi, can you please tell me if a person who named Penthouse Pet of the month or Pet of the year is notable? And what do you think about the references given in this article?মোহাম্মাদ ইসমাইল (talk) 17:07, 8 March 2020 (UTC)

Hi! Just because she was, I don't think that makes someone inherently notable. The sourcing is terrible. If you're unable to find any reliable sources that help meet GNG, I'd nominate it for deletion. If that article was in English Wikipedia, and I couldn't find the right sourcing, I'd be nominating it myself! Missvain (talk) 17:18, 8 March 2020 (UTC)

I have nominated this article in bnwiki. It would be so much helpful for me if you tell me about every single sources given in there, specially why they are reliable and why not.মোহাম্মাদ ইসমাইল (talk) 17:11, 9 March 2020 (UTC)

They are all primary sources or self-published websites that aren't really considered reliable sources. If the subject was covered in "major" media publications, then I'd consider her notable. Also, winning an award for "Best actress" (for example) in a porn doesn't necessarily make you notable... Missvain (talk) 17:22, 9 March 2020 (UTC)

Regarding the "Lost Boys Calling" article creation rejection, the article exists in Spanish, without references: https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_Boys_Calling I translated it and added information (in both versions).

I do believe that the rare collaboration between a prominent soundtrack composer such as Ennio Morricone, and two worldwide renowned band leaders such as Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) and Eddie Van Halen (Van Halen) is reason enough for it to have an article of its own.

Mogwai73 (talk) 12:32, 11 March 2020 (UTC)

Thanks! Please submit it through the AfC process. While I do know those artists and think they're awesome, the citations are still primary sources, which means someone else will most likely delete it. I also know that having an article in Spanish Wikipedia doesn't mean it will necessarily exist in English (or other language) Wikipedia. Are there not any reliable secondary sources (magazine or newspaper reviews?) about the album? Missvain (talk) 15:22, 11 March 2020 (UTC)

Hi Missvain, I just replaced all primary sources with reliable secondary sources about Sadaharu Yagi. Please let me know if this is fine now or if there is anything else that I would need to change in order for the page to be verified. 75.83.94.230 (talk) 00:06, 12 March 2020 (UTC)

Binish Desai

Hi Missvain, Hope you are doing well. I just saw you deleted a page Binish Desai which was nominated for deletion discussion by User:Harshil169. However the previous deletion discussion was Keep and page was restored by [User:Yunshui]]. I want to let you know that Binish is a notable personality who have multiple reliable, secondary, published sources that are entirely independent of the subject. Few references are listed below:

Binish has also honoured many notable awards such as Paul Harris Fellow, Forbes 30 Under 30, "Rotary International Alumni Humanitarian of the Year", Padma Shri nominee and others.

He is also a Tedx speaker. And speaker at the economist and global summit.Advisory board of Europe goes silk road.

I request you to restore the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by FXBeats21 (talkcontribs) 06:32, 14 March 2020 (UTC)

Request on 14:41:25, 14 March 2020 for assistance on AfC submission by Rosirot

Hi,

I have a question concerning whether my draft qualifies for a Wikipedia article.

In my opinion, Karin Baur satisfies the criteria 2 and 3 of the guidelines for academics as she won a Royal Society Wolfson Fellowship. According to the specific criteria notes "publications of the awarding institution are considered a reliable source". An inline reference was provided to that effect. Is this sufficient to justify that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article?

Having read your review, I understood that in the first draft I have provided some information that is only documented on self-published sources. I removed any such material.

Thank you very much for your review! I am eager to learn and want to improve my wikipedia skills. I appreciate any help that I can get.

Hi - as you closed this AfD I would like to bring something to your attention. The editor who nominated the article (Kutyava) also subsequently !voted again, but under a different user name as it had been changed (Authordom). What is a little confusing is that in their second !vote under the new name they wrote "keep" but given their comment, it would seem the intention was actually "delete". This editor is presently subject to discussion at ANI. In this case, I do not know what is the proper procedure. However, the ANI discussion has raised questions regarding the editor's actions at AfD. The AfD stats tool plays a role in that disucssion, but the stats for the user currently show a keep !vote matching a keep result for the Janmabhumi AfD, when it should show a delete(nom) and keep result. I suspect striking the second !vote would resolve the issue...but I felt best to check with you first. Regards,--Goldsztajn (talk) 01:26, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Goldsztajn, what do you think of re-nominating the article? Or, I could re-open it (reverting the decision) and strike their comments out and let people take a look again. Thoughts? Missvain (talk) 03:01, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
Thank you for the quick reply. I'm conscious that I'm involved in a discussion regarding this editor at ANI and would prefer my interactions here be neutral and not appear in any way to be canvassing. I support the principle of both of your proposals, but given my involvement I do not think it would be appropriate for me to renominate as that action in itself might be misconstrued if coming from me. Regards,--Goldsztajn (talk) 16:38, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
Got it! I went ahead and reopened the deletion discussion just for routine purposes and took it upon myself to strike Authordom's !vote from the discussion. Missvain (talk) 18:43, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
Better let sleeping dogs lie than a re-open. After the abuse I got from admins at the my last visit to ANI and lack of abuse protection at AfD's ... the results of this might be outings in alternate publications might it not? If this goes delete I'll deal with it at DRV if it doesn't result in outings in Indian media first - if I'm not overwhelmed by Covid-19 related issues of which I currently and luckily am only relatively minorly affected by side effects by restriction which is minor compared to some.Djm-leighpark (talk) 23:34, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
I need to think about my response here and I will likely enforce self enforce a few hours WikiBreak.Djm-leighpark (talk) 23:57, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
Djm-leighpark: IMHO, Missvain has acted appropriately and transparently in a complicated situation. I would suggest letting the discussion at ANI conclude first and *if* something with this particular AfD does comes up, we can always come back to it at a later stage. Regards,--Goldsztajn (talk) 21:32, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
Nope, because the nominator effectively scotched his nomination and reasonably clear concensus remained. Its unclear if they were asked or have responded to their actions. There is a minor outside possibility the nom's account has been hijacked. Re-opening AfDs like this will simply disrupt and disenchantize people with the project, be that you, me, Missvain, or all of us.Djm-leighpark (talk) 09:16, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

Process

The problem here with editing the articles about reactionary congressmen isn't a difference of opinion about edits. It's about editors, some paid, who can tag team to get well-sourced though negative information about those to whom they feel it's their crusade, job or career to protect. So they can casually sweep legitimate edits about notable circumstances from articles. Undoing many hours of careful work with a few keystrokes is high-end vandalism, one which WP management would care to believe doesn't exist or something that "the community" will magically resolve. The editors that do this often engage in Wikihounding and make the process of editing with a NPOV so distasteful that the victims simply decline to volunteer further and abandon the prospects of future contributions. Being a self-proclaimed feminist, you should be able to understand this: It's a behavior not unrelated to determined misogyny. In his last major edit to the article in question, undoing serious work, the vandal claimed he was removing Op-Eds. That was a lie. In fact, he removed solidly-sourced text from AP reporters, from Frontiersman reporters, from Anchorage Daily News reporters, although one rather eminent professor emeritus did offer some opinions in the ADN but they were thoroughly grounded in facts in his article. "S" and his cohorts have learned that they can bully and Wikihound other editors into capitulation or abandoning the pursuit entirely. (I was stalked to the DY page, by an editor who had never visited it before, after disputes over the AB and KB articles. I've made about 60 edits in the past 8 1/2 years to the DY article and I've long been a member of the Alaska Wikiproject as well as that of 11 other states) "Assumption of good faith" doesn't include a mandate of willful denial of reality or acceptance of a belief system not grounded in fact. You're not naive. I suggest you take a better look at behavior which on its face egregiously violates the spirit of Wikipedia, before you assume that it's just a difference of opinion which can be collegially negotiated as if dealing with reasonable parties. Coming to legitimate consensus with such as these is a pipe dream, "IMHO." Activist (talk) 22:30, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

Hi. I don't know. It looks like Mojo Hand deleted that redirect. Not sure why it was deleted. I assume it would be redirected to Richard Bermann but I don't know why it was deleted. Richard Bermann never existed! Missvain (talk) 04:23, 17 April 2020 (UTC)
Hi FloridaArmy. The page was attempting to redirect to the German Wikipedia at this address https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Arnold_Bermann. I hope that helps.--Mojo Hand (talk) 14:11, 17 April 2020 (UTC)

EcoWiki (eWiki) and eRating pages

Please refer this forward in time for EarthDay20.

These ideas came to me back about Jan20. Wrote it up in a tight lite 2-pager, and sent it to Friday's for Future, so they could move it forward for me ...but have heard nothing back. Now my laptop is locked, no email) and I'm on an iPad here ..slow. How/who might it get my ideas to y'all

So an eWiki and ratings for a soda would show what that firm and brand impact the environment, where green(er alternatives near me, lists of 'e'ntrepreneurs and polluters, plastics producers that have retooled ..or not. Like wikiLeaks taking in insider info to disclose whether pro Eco efforts are Blu$ter... Things like that

The goal is to create/curate a new data set for consumers, management and politicians, so different decisions are made on a better informed basis, not audited tax-break driven accounting... To shift decision matrices of both Institutional and individual buyers based on quants. (Since even the number of retweets gets reported)

E-Ratings and eWiki pages add a huge new dimension, talking points ( and participation avenues, which with cognitive dissonance affects behaviour). With our isolation now makes sense.

I'm near Toronto, if that helps, to get my 2-pager out. Oh ..via my sons' email to ...where who? FYI, It was kinda a 'muse' that insisted I work on it, with my Econ, finance and eng'g backgrounds in too. Currently doing a Science Told in Rhyme poem for Virology, I.e. covid analogies...

Apr.22 is the 50th anniversary. Makes sense to launch and do p.r. now.

Nathan Fong

Hi Missvain, I am sorry I forgot to explain my edits on the edit summary. I work hard on some edits but I forgot to explain it on the edit summary. I am here to thank you for giving me editing advice but you must use the edit summary. I was extremely crying on the COVID-19 crisis and I am too emotional to talk some more for my difficult time and I completely forgot to use the edit summary. But I am here to say thank you for giving editing advice I am very sorry I forgot to use the edit summary for my explanation. I hope we will talk more very soon. Once again, I thank you and I salute you! All the best. Bye bye. 2001:569:74D2:A800:146C:3B2A:B2DE:1A1F (talk) 03:39, 19 April 2020 (UTC)

Activist's failure to follow BRD

Missvain, I think outside perspective would be helpful. I started typing this here [[1]] but as it moved away from content and into editor behavior I'm moving to your talk page. I'm 100% willing to engage with Activist and I've avoided responding to the accusations flung my way. However, the content here and on several other pages is seriously problematic. See my BLPN request for additional eyes here [[2]]. In all cases I see a pattern. The material added by Activists is often UNDUE (see the discussion here [[3]]). Additionally it's frequently very biased and reads more like a story than an encyclopedia (my concern here [[4]] <- repeated link). Unfortunately any attempts to discuss the material are not seen as good faith efforts to build consensus [[5]] and instead are seen as attempts to personally impede and hound. Regardless of any other concerns, per policy the correct action is NOT to restore new material that has been contested but to get consensus where none exists. I will admit it's frustrating when one notes a poor quality edit, is willing to discuss ways to fix it but is instead met with a wall of text and personal attacks. Anyway, I think a few things would be helpful. First, would be some second opinions regarding the questions of DUE and IMPARTIAL. Second would be some reminders that we need to assume good faith and that includes when people reject your work. Activist has been very vocal in stating that my motives must be HOUND and ignoring my concerns regarding some rather poor quality edits (as made clear by the BLPN responses. I'm hoping that they can be reminded that if new content is rejected they need to head to the talk page first and should be certain they have consensus before restoring. Working with editors who don't agree is much more productive than reverting and suggesting they are acting in bad faith. I don't really want this to be an ANI thing because I think ANI is often a place to seek sanctions. In this case I just want someone to help Activist see some correctable issues. Thanks Springee (talk) 05:54, 23 April 2020 (UTC)
