Feedback: Renaming the High Speed Rail Authority wikipedia page

[edit]

The title of the wikipedia page is a bit general, since the California one and Australia one are easy to mix up as noted in the article itself. Maybe it's best to differentiate the title of the article itself so it is very clear that it is the Australian one. Also if another high speed rail authority comes about, it doesn't make it ultimately more confusing. There's a few alternatives to renaming the article, best options would be either be "Australia High Speed Rail Authority" or "High Speed Rail Authority (Australia)". Adding the Australia part to the title of the article makes it obvious it's the Australian one, even from looking it up online. Since you've created the article, I thought to give feedback on this particular wikipedia article to reduce confusion for readers. True Believers (talk) 00:52, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I do see your point - the HSRA's LinkedIn page is also named High Speed Rail Authority (Australia). I might open up a page move proposal. MiasmaEternal 01:45, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of archive tags/templates in citations?

[edit]

Hi, & thanks for the great work you've been doing here. Meanwhile, I was wondering what your thinking was when you deleted the archive templates & tags in the Media Watch article here? It's a bit of a worry because, if the targets of the original URLs are changed or deleted, then the citations presumably become useless. Am I missing something here? Is it possible that this was accidental?? Hope my concerns are wildly misplaced, & to hear back from you soon. Cheers! Bluevista99 (talk) 03:42, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I looked, and I did not intend to do that - feel free to restore it (unless it's been done already). MiasmaEternal 03:45, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, & thanks for the prompt reply. I'll have another peek at it. :-) Cheers! Bluevista99 (talk) 05:05, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
