Hello John, I was quite amazed that you added a remark of "no references" to the above article. The sources are abundantly visible under the paragraph 'Literature'. If you would need others, it should be your task to look for them. By all means there seems to be sometimes an erroneous view on the sources to be given for an encyclopedia. This is not a scholarly historic notice, where every sentence asks for a footnote. I work along the best example there is, I mean the Encyclopedia Brittanica. Another user changed your remark in "unsufficient references', but this also was not exact. All the best. Andries Van den Abeele (talk) 09:51, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Andries. I'm afraid it doesn't work like that. One of the core content policies is that all content must be verifiable. From WP:UNSOURCED: The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and it is satisfied by providing an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution. A list of general references is not enough, the content needs inline citations. Regards --John B123 (talk) 17:48, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
- I completely disagree and am sure the interested reader of this article has ample references with those I provided and can verify everything, if he wants to. I prefer to go into a battle or, if I loose, to quit Wikipedia all together, rather than to go along with these foolish conditions of so called 'inline citations'. This is a good way of vandalizing and even destroying Wikipedia in the English language, which is growing more and more in recent years. An encyclopedia is not a scholarly memoir. The critics demanding such pointless 'citations' are mostly users who do not contribute themselves with original contributions. best regards, Andries Van den Abeele (talk) 10:46, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Andries Van den Abeele: You may not agree with the policies of Wikipedia but that's no reason to ignore them. It's not up to the reader to trawl through numerous sources to verify the information in the article but for the editor to point them to the relevant source. I fail to see how adding inline citations is vandalism. --John B123 (talk) 10:55, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
- I am a regular contributor to the Dutch Wikipedia since 2007 and a more irregular one to the English Wikipedia since 2010. I have seen the latter deteriorate regularly under the 'dictatorship' of more recent users (mostly operating under the anonimity of a pseudonym) who never contribute themselves with new articles but rush through numerous articles (in 28/11 alone, you made almost 200 interventions) with schoolish remarks which are not to the point in an encyclopedia and made on the basis of self-construed or understood rules. Take the Encyclopedia Brittanica and you will see that compared to it my articles on Wikipedia are abundantly rich in references. I cannot imagine that you and others would have the arrogance of knowing better than the good old Enc. Brittanica? If I look at articles where the maker has indeed followed the pedantic so-called 'policy', I mostly see all sorts of inline references which learn nothing or are very often shortlived newspapers references. In some instances they can be useful, but most of the time they are not. If you have worked yourself up to become a moderator or influencer of some sort, I call you up to come to your senses and to make interesting new articles, rather than pursuing pointless largely self-construed regulations. I consider such a behaviour as destructive with regard to the future of the encyclopedia and therefore indeed as vandalism. best regards, -Andries Van den Abeele (talk) 11:35, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Andries Van den Abeele: I don't write the guidelines, they have been formed over time by consensus. Whether you like them or not is irrelevant. Comments to other editors that are bordering in personal attacks won't help your cause. Although I feel no need to justify myself to you, I have in fact created, and continue to create, many article on en-wiki. --John B123 (talk) 11:49, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

SUGAR Cosmetics
Hey John B123, how are you doing? I noticed that you speedy deleted a page that I created on SUGAR Cosmetics since it appeared to be promotional. I think I'd agree with you that the article had that tangent because of the reception section where I had cited Economic Times and one more source about the review etc. However, I wanted to check with you - do you think the subject was otherwise notable? The reason I thought it was notable was because they were uniquely producing products for Indian shades and were emerging to be a leader in India cosmetic industry despite it being a closed space dominated by old players. Besides, there was coverage in Indian Today [1], Entrepreneur [2], Economic Times [3], Forbes [4]. With this, I see them qualifying WP:GNG with ease. But would love to learn from you on what's your take on the notability of the subject. Thanks for your time on this! Good day to you.
Palmsandbeaches (talk) 06:27, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Palmsandbeaches. I think it's marginal for notability. If you want to recreate the page I would advise finding some further sources and writing it in a more neutral way. You might want to have a look at WP:COMPANY too. Regards --John B123 (talk) 09:14, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
Hey John B123, Thank for your view and inputs. I might bother you again though (apologies in advance for that!). Once again, thanks for your time.

- Hi Palmsandbeaches. No problem, always happy to help if I can. Regards --John B123 (talk) 09:36, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
Hey John B123, how are you doing? I have attempted to recreate the page, barring what could be considered promotional (I am starting to feel slightly confusing and ambiguous about what could be considered promotional or not here!). Would be invaluable if you could have a look and let me know what you think of the page SUGAR Cosmetics. Your feedback will be of tremendous help to improve it.

Sheikh Madar
Hi John B123 thank you for confirming the two pages I created. Could you take a look at Draft:Sheikh Madar? I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks WanderingGeeljire (talk) 09:51, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, WanderingGeeljire. The article looks fine, it just needs some categories added. (Whist in draft, categories should be disable by adding a colon after the opening brackets, eg [[:Category:1825 births]]. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 14:57, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- John what do you mean by categories? and how should I add them? WanderingGeeljire (talk) 10:01, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- Categories link the article with other similar articles and are listed at the bottom of the article. You successfully added categories to Abdulrahman Deria here.[5] Regards --John B123 (talk) 15:10, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- Aha okay I will add that section then right now. After that is complete will the page be ready to come out of drafts? WanderingGeeljire (talk) 10:12, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- That's fine. I've moved the article to mainspace now. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 17:08, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks so much I truly appreciate the help, you've confirmed 3 of my pages that's great. Would it be possible to reduce the protection level of the Habr Awal page? I've been using the talk section to put in requests and this section Habr Awal_#Garaads and Sultans of the Habr Awal was my work. I'd like to edit it directly though since that's much easier and I can fix typos as well. Regards, WanderingGeeljire (talk) 10:12, 6 December 2020 (UTC)

Midyat rebellion verification
Hey, could you please review this page. I believe I've provided enough sources to remove the "This article needs additional citations for verification" bar Sargon Gallu (talk) 21:59, 9 December 2020 (UTC)

Scott Farrell (organist)
Hi John B123. You wanted reliable secondary sources for Scott Farrell (organist). Notability of holders of full Organist and Director of Music posts at English cathedrals is well established - see Paul Trepte, Mark Blatchly, Adrian Bawtree, Roger Sayer, etc. etc. Do you want sources that say he actually held those posts at those cathedrals? BBC News is a reliable secondary source for his arrest and conviction. Chi Sigma (talk) 21:18, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi [[U|Chi Sigma}}, the article is largely unreferenced, it needs addition citations to verify. Regards --John B123 (talk) 21:26, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- To verify what - that he exists? That he was indeed Organist and Director of Music at Newcastle and Rochester? You seem to be confusing GNG and VERIFY. Chi Sigma (talk) 21:32, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- No confusion here. Please see WP:BURDEN. --John B123 (talk) 21:38, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- I've seen it, and it talks about the burden of verifying material, not the burden of proving that it passes GNG, which is a separate thing. Chi Sigma (talk) 21:42, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- As I said before, the article is largely unreferenced. Without the sources to back up the content it doesn't pass WP:GNG or WP:MUSICBIO. --John B123 (talk) 21:48, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- To back up what content?! Could you please take more than 10 seconds to reply this time, and explain to me why you think the notability of this person is in doubt, as opposed to the verifiability of whatever statement you want verified? Chi Sigma (talk) 21:56, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- I have tried to explain what is wrong with the article. If you can't accept that then there's little else I can do. I don't appreciate your sarcasm. --John B123 (talk) 22:01, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

- You have failed to explain what is wrong with the article. If there is little else you can do, I will remove the tag. WP:GNG is not the same thing as WP:VERIFY, no matter how many times you say it. Chi Sigma (talk) 22:03, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- The article needs to be referenced correctly, I don't see what is difficult about that. Untill you have resolved the issue please do not remove the tag. --John B123 (talk) 22:07, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

- From WP:GNG: "Notability is a property of a subject and not of a Wikipedia article. If the subject has not been covered outside of Wikipedia, no amount of improvements to the Wikipedia content will suddenly make the subject notable. Conversely, if the source material exists, even very poor writing and referencing within a Wikipedia article will not decrease the subject's notability." You have simply misunderstood WP:GNG, or failed to read it properly. "Without the sources to back up the content it doesn't pass WP:GNG" is a nonsensical statement, and this disruptive editing is a violation of WP:DRIVEBY and WP:EDITWAR; stop it. Chi Sigma (talk) 22:54, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- You have spent move time arguing about this than it would have taken to add the necessary references to resolve the problem. Why are you avoiding adding the necessary sources as per WP:BURDEN? --John B123 (talk) 23:00, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

- This is a stupid argument. Yes. I would love to be doing something more constructive. Unfortunately, I have now pointed out numerous times why WP:GNG does not say what you think it says, and you are still here talking about WP:BURDEN! I have given chapter and verse as to why there is no "problem" that can be "resolved" by adding the "necessary references". The tag is for GNG. Not for WP:BURDEN, or for WP:VERIFY, which you still appear to be confusing with GNG. Per WP:DRIVEBY, it is up to you to explain why you think the article does not meet GNG. Repeating the same vague point about WP:BURDEN or WP:VERIFY that I've addressed numerous times is not an explanation, and nor is it helping to build an encyclopedia. Change the tag to a more appropriate tag if you like, otherwise, delete it. Chi Sigma (talk) 00:02, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
- Yet again, the article does not have enough citations to show notability. I don't know how else to explain that. Why not just add the references? --John B123 (talk) 01:24, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
- Yet again, notability is a property of a subject and not of a Wikipedia article. You are asking me to achieve by adding references something that WP:GNG explicitly states cannot be achieved by adding references. You don't know how else to explain that because it cannot be explained. It is incorrect. Wikipedia has arrived at a policy, through consensus, and you are choosing to ignore that policy and make your own policies up as you go along. Remove the tag. Chi Sigma (talk) 01:40, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

Please read WP:GNG more carefully, in particular WP:NRV rather than trying to interpret it to your own ends. As it stands, the only references show he was an organist, a paedophile and was charged with gross indecency. None of which make him notable. --John B123 (talk) 07:21, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
- Well thank you for, at last, articulating what your problem with the article is, but you are wrong, for reasons I've already stated. Being "an organist" doesn't make him notable, but being the holder of a full "Organist and Director of Music" post at two English cathedrals does. As is well established by the number of bluelinked articles from List_of_musicians_at_English_cathedrals, including both this person's immediate predecessor and immediate successor at Rochester. If the words "Organist and Director of Music" don't mean anything in particular to you, I can only suggest asking someone more familiar with the church music world to give their opinion. (As for WP:NRV, it confirms exactly what I've been saying from the beginning.) Chi Sigma (talk) 21:38, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- There is no WP:SNG that gives notability to "Organist and Director of Music" as far as I'm aware. Perhaps you could provide a link to that guideline. --John B123 (talk) 22:28, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- WP:SNG has nothing to do with what I just said. Please read it again. Chi Sigma (talk) 22:34, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- Because some of the people listed at List_of_musicians_at_English_cathedrals have their own articles, it doesn't mean everybody in that list qualifies, you might just as well say some rock musicians have articles therefore all rock musicians can have an article. You need an SNG to give automatic notability. Please read the various notability guidelines. --John B123 (talk) 23:17, 9 December 2020 (UTC)

Hello. Can you please let me know which passage you cite as copyright infringement on the Nemmers Prize in Medical Science page and what the source is? I included references on my page. I was mirroring the single-paragraph format from the three other existing Nemmers Prizes Wikipedia pages. I will rewrite some things now if I may have a bit more time now. Can you please look now? I am not sure if it's OK to put a statement in quotations (I will research this) since it is the qualifications for the prize (I don't want to misrepresent what the prize awarded for). I am very happy to try again - I haven't seen use of 'according to' as a reference on wikipedia but it seems like this might be the best way to do this if I am using quotation marks. I am still learning! I'd like to do the Earth Sciences Prize too later this week but want to be sure I get this right before I go there. Thanks again for all your help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chicrunner79 (talk • contribs) 22:43, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

New Page Patrol December Newsletter
Hello John B123,
- Year in review
It has been a productive year for New Page Patrol as we've roughly cut the size of the New Page Patrol queue in half this year. We have been fortunate to have a lot of great work done by Rosguill who was the reviewer of the most pages and redirects this past year. Thanks and credit go to JTtheOG and Onel5969 who join Rosguill in repeating in the top 10 from last year. Thanks to John B123, Hughesdarren, and Mccapra who all got the NPR permission this year and joined the top 10. Also new to the top ten is DannyS712 bot III, programmed by DannyS712 which has helped to dramatically reduce the number of redirects that have needed human patrolling by patrolling certain types of redirects (e.g. for differences in accents) and by also patrolling editors who are on on the redirect whitelist.

- Reviewer of the Year

can you pls check my latest work and let me know its fine or not.. i am back after my exams... looking forward to learn from my wiki teacher.
please check - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ScamBreaking.com
- Hi IK1313, I see it has been tagged for speedy deletion for being too promotional. You need to edit it so it looks less like a press release. Not starting every sentance with "ScamBreaking.com" would be a good start. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 20:51, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Dusan Rajic
Hello John, Thank you very much for your suggestion for my article "Kostka Bojana"(I added translation from Serbian to English, because I want my article to be on English Wikipedia as well). I am new here and categories are a bit difficult to me. Could you suggest me a category and how I should add it. Thank you in advance. Kind regards, Dusan — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dusan Rajic (talk • contribs) 14:49, 12 December 2020 (UTC) Dusan Rajic (talk) 14:55, 12 December 2020 (UTC)Dusan Rajic
- Hi Dusan Rajic, I've added categories to the article. When you translate from another wiki you need to add attribution - see Wikipedia:Translation. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 15:13, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hello John B123,
- Thank you so much for your help, I trully appreciate it.
- When can I expect my page to be published?
- When it comes to the tranlastion from Serbian Wikipedia, I am reading but I still dont understand how it works.
- Could you perhaps, add the template or whatever its needed so that we can link both pages,on Serbian wiki and on English, if thats how it works.
- Looking forward to your reply.
- Thank you once again for your kind help.
- Kind regards,
- Dusan

Hello John, I apologize for asking to many questions. I wanted to ask you, I want to add a photo of the person to the Serbian Wikipedia page. Do I write in additional comment that I dont own copyrights or do I need a special permission? How can I do that? Thank you so much and I apologize for disturbing you. I am a young editor and I really have a wish to perfect my self on editing. Kind regards, Dusan Dusan Rajic (talk) 17:31, 12 December 2020 (UTC)Dusan Rajic
- If the image is copyright then you need to get whoever owns the copyright to give permission. If the image is in the public domain then you can upload it. Regards --John B123 (talk) 18:47, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
Thank you for your quick reply. How to I verify that I have the permission to upload a picture? Regards, Dusan
Dusan Rajic (talk) 19:08, 12 December 2020 (UTC)Dusan Rajic
- Unless there is something on the website that says you can reproduce the picture you need to assume it is copyright. Regards --John B123 (talk) 19:14, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
Dear John, I just received a notification that one editor has put my page in draft because of the not enough citations and sources. However, the article has been approved by two editors before, this is just a translation. What can i do now? Thank you. Dusan
Dusan Rajic (talk) 19:31, 12 December 2020 (UTC)Dusan Rajic
- The Serbian article is also a draft, so the fact it's a translation doesn't carry much weight. I would add some more references and then click on the "submit the draft for review" button at the top of the page. --John B123 (talk) 19:50, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
Hirofumi Daimatsu
Thank you for your notice. It's sad to hear. Wasn't citation enough? I tried to put as many citations as possible. Untr0 (talk) 10:46, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Untr0, the problem wasn't that of citations but that much of the content was copied from https://www.volleyhall.org/hirofumi-daimatsu.html. This is a copyright infringement. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 10:50, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you. In this case what is the best way to show this not my own research? Untr0 (talk) 11:01, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
- The article needs to be rewritten in your own words and suitably referenced. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 11:04, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
- Oh, I see. Am I allowed to edit? Or I am not allowed to edit, so I have to wait for deletion and thereafter I have to create a new page named "Hirofumi Daimatsu"? Untr0 (talk) 11:14, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
- You can start editing it now. Regards --John B123 (talk) 11:16, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Mount Abraham Union High School
Hello John B123. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Mount Abraham Union High School, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 does not apply to schools. Thank you. Barkeep49 (talk) 17:56, 15 December 2020 (UTC)

Coolangatta & Tweed Heads Golf Club
Thank you for the tag. I added links to the pages of Geoff Parslow, former club professional, and the Gold Coast Classic. I think that should be good enough to remove the tag.
Also you included the category "Golf clubs and courses in Queensland" on its page although on the club's website it says the location is Tweed Heads South, New South Wales. I know it is on the border of Queensland but do you have any evidence the course trickles into this nearby state?
Oogglywoogly (talk) 00:51, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Oogglywoogly
- Hi Oogglywoogly, I've removed the orphan tag. Adding it to the Queensland category came from "people met at Coolangatta Town Hall in Coolangatta, Queensland" within the article. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 08:04, 16 December 2020 (UTC)

Article review
Hie, User:john_B123
I see you’re great work here and I would like to learn more from you checked your talk page nice response and great feedback would like to learn more from you am interested in Wikipedia please check and review my new article Draft:Fatsani - Tale of Survival correct me were am wrong thank you. Phalombe (talk) 22:48, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Phalombe. Thanks for your kind words. The article is well written and set out - well done. I've made a couple of small changes. Unreleased films are problematic as far as notability is concerned - see WP:NFF. Firstly you need to show that filming has commenced, I assume it has as a trailer has been released. Secondly you need to show that the production itself is notable. HD Plus Creations' press release says it is Malawi’s first cinema movie. Whilst the press release can't be used as a reference, an independent source calling it that would help towards notability. If the trailer received any good reviews the a section about the trailer release might be good. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 23:34, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
Thank you so much :@John B123:, can you also check my article Fredokiss (rapper) its having problems and its on speedy deletion but i have contest on the talk page Talk:Fredokiss (rapper) please check if my reason is good enough. Phalombe (talk) 07:19, 16 December 2020 (UTC)

@John B123:) i wish all admins were like you i just like your honest and helping newcomers like us here on Wikipedia i really appreciate. Now am guessing I can’t remove the templates till he does right? Or any admin does? I can’t wait to create more articles and become like you Phalombe (talk) 15:55, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Phalombe, an uninvolved admin will make a decision on this and you need leave the template in place until then. In general terms, an admin won't speedy delete a page if there are genuine objections to the deletion. (I'm not an admin btw) Regards. --John B123 (talk) 17:21, 16 December 2020 (UTC)

Question regarding review
Can I just check with you that the page layout and content is acceptable as will do several other similar. Is what I added enough to be accepted or is information classed as incomplete? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eleanora_(Helen)_Hunter — Preceding unsigned comment added by DingoFilter (talk • contribs) 20:15, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi DingoFilter. The article is a stub which effectively means it has enough content to justify inclusion. Obviously a fuller article would be better. The layout is fine. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 20:34, 17 December 2020 (UTC)

Hello
May I ask you why did you put a {{refimprove}}
template on this article ? [8]
Do you mean that fr:Archipel (revue) is not reliable, or maybe Hinzler's book, an author cited in a dozen of other articles about Bali ([9])?
Just to say, I'm not a newbie on Wikipedia, I made 17k+ edits on wp.fr and 138k+ edits with AWB, I speak English fluently and I never add unsourced information, so I'm quite surprised by that template saying that the article is unsourced...
Please notify me if you answer.
Regards, Şÿℵדαχ₮ɘɼɾ๏ʁ 22:36, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
- @SyntaxTerror: The template does not say the article is unsourced, it says it "article needs additional citations for verification". The English Wikipedia uses inline citations for verifications. As only one of the three sentences in the article has a citation I added the tag. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 22:55, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
- Each sentence has a reference now (or two). Do you want me to mention the source of each painting as well? Şÿℵדαχ₮ɘɼɾ๏ʁ 23:18, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
- @SyntaxTerror: That's fine now. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 23:38, 17 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi John, I wondered if you could review this article which has been nominated (again) for Good Article. It was already nominated two months ago, but a copyvio problem was detected. I believe I solved it now. Thanks in advance. :-) Taurus Littrow (talk) 15:28, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Taurus Littrow. The copyvio problems look as if they have been resolved. I haven't previously been involved in GA reviews, but from a quick look the article is certainly a strong candidate. The only thing I can see is that a lot of referencing is from Stephanides' books. Normally references should be from independent sources. If you could find additional references to back up these up it might pre-empt any objections to gaining GA status. I'm happy to do a formal review, but that might be better done after you have looked at the references. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 15:52, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks much, I'll try to fix it. I wonder if the very first reference ("Theodore Stephanides: A Brief Biography"), which is used very often throughout the article, can be considered Stephanides' book as such. It was published 30 years after his death, and he was obviously not involved in writing that preface. Same thing with references 17 and 22. What do you think? Taurus Littrow (talk) 16:05, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- A preface by another author is fine. Others from the body of the books would be helped by another reference. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 16:19, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- It must be OK now, take another look please. I had to remove some text (e.g., that on Stephanides' translation of Lili Marlene) which could not be referenced from other sources. Thanks. Taurus Littrow (talk) 17:32, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- A preface by another author is fine. Others from the body of the books would be helped by another reference. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 16:19, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- The references look fine now. I've had a more thorough look at the article now. There aren't any major issues. The first of the Good Article Criteria is "well written". Generally it is, but you might want to look at the starting of paragraphs. In the 1920s and 1930s sections there are several consecutive paragraphs starting "In <date>" and in "Postwar period: moving to London" several start with "Stephanides". This might benefit from a little rewording, although neither start is wrong, it's better not to have consecutive paragraphs with the same start. For example, changing "In the 1920s, Stephanides began his work as a translator of Greek poetry into English" to "Stephanides began his work as a translator of Greek poetry into English in the 1920s" would make it different to the paragraphs before and after. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 20:52, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- Very good, I rewrote (and expanded) some text. Let me know if there are other issues with it. Thanks. P.S. The article was about twice as big as it is now, and much more "entertaining", but I had to remove and rewrite a lot of text due to copyright violations, so the article looks a bit dry now. Taurus Littrow (talk) 22:25, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Taurus Littrow. That looks a lot better now. I'll do a formal review in the next few days. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 16:28, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

Question
Hi!! Sir, I just have a question, is List_of_P-Pop_Artist allowed? If I'm not mistaken it's just the same as 2020 in Philippine music or it should be renamed to "List of Philippine idol groups"? This article was created by Philippinesfan. — ArriehM 💬 03:57, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi ArriehM, it didn't have enough entries to warrant its own article so I've redirected it to List of Philippine-based music groups. Regards --John B123 (talk) 16:56, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
Thank you so much, sir! ArriehM (talk) 23:29, 18 December 2020 (UTC)

Still waiting for your formal review. Thanks. Taurus Littrow (talk) 10:57, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Taurus Littrow, apologies, I've had one of those weeks. I've started the review at Talk:Theodore Stephanides/GA2. Regards --John B123 (talk) 18:19, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks much! I updated some references, have a look please. Taurus Littrow (talk) 19:58, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- That looks fine. I'm happy to pass the review, but as this is my first GA review I need to get a more experienced GA to cast their eye over it. I've made the request so hopefully it shouldn't take long. Regards --John B123 (talk) 20:18, 20 December 2020 (UTC)

An article that was created 35 seconds before you proposed deletion can hardly be described as "abandoned". Please give people who are trying to build this encyclopedia a bit of time to do so. Phil Bridger (talk) 21:21, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Phil Bridger: According to the page history it was created on 28 November [10] and not edited until my tagging for PROD on 20 December [11]. By my reckoning that's far more than 35 seconds. --John B123 (talk) 21:29, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- Oops, sorry. I was put off by the coincidence in the time, but didn't notice the month and day. Even so, I don't get why anyone would think such a list was an uncontroversial deletion candidate. Phil Bridger (talk) 21:36, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Phil Bridger: A list that should contain 650+ entries but only has one is hardly beneficial to the encyclopaedia. Nearly a month after creation there have been no further edits to try and improve the article. How would you suggest dealing with it? NPPs get grief for sending articles to draft, there's no suitable speedy criteria and a WP:BEFORE search would probably show enough subject notability to preclude an AfD. --John B123 (talk) 21:59, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- Just do nothing and allow people to add entries, or even, horror of horrors, improve the list yourself. That's the whole idea of a wiki. And if an article subject is too notable to send to AfD then it is certainly not a candidate for PROD. Phil Bridger (talk) 07:25, 21 December 2020 (UTC)

Hello john B123 Sir, Hi! Kindly assess the subject, and if you find this okay, then kindly move to the main space and do a review. I made a page earlier with the different name piecegoods, and it was reviewed but later redirected to textile. Therefore I am following this route. Hi, this page was created about a golf club that co-hosts the highest level of Golf - Augusta National Women's Amateur a.k.a Women's Masters. Women were not allowed to play in the Augusta Nationals Golf Tournament till 2018 and this is historic that the first and inaugural tournament took place in Champions Retreat Golf Club. Also, the Golf club is designed by the three legends of Golf known as the Big Three. I am sure that the club of significance in Golf History

Hi sir! I just want to ask if this draft (which I expanded) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:1st.One is ready for mainspace? Are references enough? I'm not quite sure if this draft is ready for mainspace so I did not submit it yet. Thanks! ArriehM (talk) 07:40, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi ArriehM, that's certainly a great improvement to the draft, however it still needs more references. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 07:51, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
Ok sir thank you for the quick response! You're awesome sir! ArriehM (talk) 07:54, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
Sir, last favor, how about this one https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Ericka_%E2%80%9CMiss_Everything%E2%80%9D_Camata I expanded it too. Is this ready for mainspace? ArriehM (talk) 08:11, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi I think it needs some more references from more mainstream sources to establish notability. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 08:20, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

@John B123 Greetings I came to know that the page I have created had been deleted by you, I am not satisfied with the reason you gave because it had been clearly stated in Wikipedia that I shouldn’t write an article with exaggeration, so cut short everything then only I submitted.I kindly request you to review it once again. If it is not satisfied then leave a message in my talk page.
