Hello, Hitachi-Hu, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:Hitachi-Hu, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. However, in your recent edit to ʻOumuamua, you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking. Thank you. JaggedHamster (talk) 19:41, 20 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Was it wrong? Links to date. Very simple, but is it wrong? Hitachi-Hu (talk) 22:05, 20 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The relevant manual of style section WP:YEARLINK has "year articles (e.g. 1795, 1955, 2007) should not be linked unless the linked date or year has a significant connection to the subject of the linking article, beyond that of the date itself, so that the linking enhances the reader's understanding of the subject". JaggedHamster (talk) 22:12, 20 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop linking to years, as you did here. It's not valid, as you have already been told above. Parsecboy (talk) 15:36, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Gabriel Batistuta. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Per MOS:OL. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:54, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
