DYK for Ezra Weston II
[edit]On 14 July 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Ezra Weston II, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the first United States vessel to enter the Black Sea was owned by Ezra Weston II, a Massachusetts shipbuilder known as "King Caesar"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ezra Weston II. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Ezra Weston II), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

- Thank very much for this. Nice surprise. Best, Historical Perspective 2
- Thank you for today's 6th Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Militia, "which gained considerable notoriety at the start of the American Civil War. They were the first regiment to arrive in Washington in response to Lincoln's call for volunteer troops. En route, they were engaged in the Baltimore Riot during which the regiment became the first Union unit to lose casualties in action. The incident attracted world-wide attention as evidenced by the large number of newspaper depictions of the Baltimore Riot"! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 05:19, 19 April 2018 (UTC)

Please check the article needs no amendments. - AND, thank you so much for your patience with me. My team hasn't really done a huge amount of editing/contributing in this amount since about 2013 so, yeah, our styles and templates were kind of dated. Again, thank you so much for your guidance. Feel free to give us any pointers in the future, they are much appreciated.Hhfjbaker (talk) 19:45, 27 April 2020 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for May 8
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 52nd Massachusetts Infantry Regiment, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Red River (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:35, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
You added a few refs to Headley 1866 in there, but the full citation is missing. Would you mind adding it? Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 04:25, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
- Done. Thank you, I thought I had added it. Historical Perspective 2 (talk) 11:31, 27 May 2020 (UTC)

Svick's script
[edit]Since you seem to be created many articles these days, many with citation issues, I would suggest that you install Svick's script per these instructions. It's very handy! Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 00:35, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
- Had to fix one of your article today 6th Massachusetts Battery (I think I made the right fix at least), and 7th Massachusetts Battery still has an error in it (Hanson 1866). Installing that script I mentioned would help a lot with this stuff. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 21:01, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, Headbomb. Mistakes happen (ex., see your messages above) and they're not all that many. I don't want to install the script but thank you. Historical Perspective 2 (talk) 09:45, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
- Well, there's another one in Bluefish River (Massachusetts). Winsor (1840) [short] vs Winsor (1849) [long]. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 12:40, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, Headbomb. Mistakes happen (ex., see your messages above) and they're not all that many. I don't want to install the script but thank you. Historical Perspective 2 (talk) 09:45, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
