What's the situation regarding 86.83.239.142 (talk · contribs) and 62.58.36.58 (talk · contribs)? They were blocked for 2 weeks in January 'per CU' [86...], but have been editing ever since including taking turns to edit the same article[1]. I cannot believe that this is the normal outcome for block evasion blocks? --Nigelj (talk) 19:43, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
- I can't recall off-hand, and without checkuser I can't look to see what's going on. Unfortunately this does tend to happen with block evasion blocks; they're only a stop-gap measure as severe sockers will just wait for the block to end and carry on where they left off. [2] - Did you attempt to establish notability before redirecting this?
- I made that edit over two years ago, so I can honestly say I have no idea and can't remember. Sorry. Hersfold (t/a/c) 18:31, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
Matsuyama Airi
I notice that Matsuyama Airi exists, but you had Airi Matsuyama deleted due to R3. I would have deleted "Matsuyama Airi" due to R3, but it is no longer recently created, so I think it no longer qualifies for R3 and needs to go to redirects for discussion. What do you think? WhisperToMe (talk) 19:46, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- I deleted that over a year ago... if you think a redirect is needed there, go ahead and make it, there's no need to have it officially undeleted. Hersfold (t/a/c) 18:36, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Hope that you can attend, User:Sadads (talk)11:51, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

HersfoldOTRSBot
Would you be able to kick off HersfoldOTRSBot on Commons to tag {{subst:nopd}} any images which are OTRS pending since earlier than 1st July? Stifle (talk) 11:50, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, Stifle. Sorry for not running the bots lately, I've been out for the last few months. As soon as I get a chance to look over the code and make sure everything's still up to snuff, I'll send it off to do its thing. Hersfold (t/a/c) 18:38, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Christmas series
Sent to: Decision makers/archivists and WikiCopter.
Please, do NOT approve mottoes for the period from 25 December (2010) to 5 January 2011. I think we have enough time to discuss the Christmas series. Thanks & Best! –pjoef (talk • contribs) 08:42, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
