Welcome to the best talk page on Wikipedia Supporting text |
The article Amy Anzel has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
not notable as there is clearly not enough content to warrant a page and no other contestants with no other notability have pages
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 09:00, 15 August 2022 (UTC)

Replaceable non-free use File:MatthewBornePortrait.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:MatthewBornePortrait.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:46, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:TheCarManPadDeDeuxLucaLana.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:TheCarManPadDeDeuxLucaLana.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:13, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
- Hi GDX420. This file already exists as File:TheCarMan-LucaLana.jpg so there was really no need to upload another version of it. Non-free files can be used in more than one article, but each use of the file needs satisfy all ten non-free content use criteria listed WP:NFCCP. If you believe this file's non-free is justified in Matthew Bourne, please add a non-free use ratoinale specific to that particular use to the older file's page, and then replace the syntax for the file you uploaded with the syntax for the older file. However, simply adding a non-free use rationale doesn't make a particular use policy compliant as explained here. A single non-free use is already considered rather the exception per relevant policies, and additional uses tend to be much harder to justify. The fact that this file is being used in The Car Man (Bourne) makes justifying another use of it that much harder per policy, since the article about the production itself seems to be more encyclopedically appropriate for non-free use than an article about the production's choreographer. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:22, 31 August 2023 (UTC)

Striking AfD comments
[edit]Please never strike someone else's comments at an AfD unless they are a blocked/banned sockpuppet. Your striking here because "they don't understand how anything works around here" is incredibly poorly-judged, and this striking is incorrect as we only strike block/ban-evading sockpuppets (or someone blocked for disrupting that specific AfD), not just because someone gets blocked. [edit]Hello, I'm 2601:5CC:8300:A7F0:10E9:A2E3:79F6:A28E. I noticed that you recently removed all content from a page. Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. 2601:5CC:8300:A7F0:10E9:A2E3:79F6:A28E (talk) 18:04, 25 June 2024 (UTC)

[edit]I've reverted your three most recent edits because:
- Ian Bruce isn't a key person - he's a vice-president not the president
- Your text on Sexual abuse allegations is in the wrong place - it should be in the Charity Commission Inquiry section - and much of what you have written repeats what is already in that section.
