Week 4 / Assignment 4 / Wikisun1952
Hello, this is Jieni Zha.
1. The article I assigned is "E-commerce". This article does not give a comprehensive introduction to the types of e-commerce, so I added content to the article. It’s located under the section of “E-commerce businesses may also employ some or all of the following”.
2. Here is the line to the differences I made: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=E-commerce&type=revision&diff=1052772726&oldid=1052303451 The link to the bibliography is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Wikisun1952/E-commerce/Bibliography?veaction=edit&preload=Template%3ADashboard.wikiedu.org_bibliography
3. From this assignment, I learned how to add citations to Wikipedia and how to correctly find out the reference used in the article. I also learned how to generate citations in WikipediaWikisun1952 (talk) 00:56, 31 October 2021 (UTC)
- Wikisun1952, This is also ok for now, though I would have ordinarily reverted it as not being a high enough quality credible source. OK for now, however. Week 4 is done. FULBERT (talk) 18:39, 31 October 2021 (UTC)
Week 3/Assignment 3/ Katxzhang
1. The link of the article I copyedited is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_influence_bias
2. The link to the comparison between old and new of the article is:https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Social_influence_bias&type=revision&diff=1052812403&oldid=952213718
3. I have learned a lot in this week's work, one of them is that precise punctuation contributes to the composition of a well-written article, it is a factor that can be easily neglected by writers; The accuracy of punctuation can make sure viewers receive information efficiently. I have also learned that prepositions in phrases are able to alter the interpretation of the phrase, therefore, writers should be cautious with their wording. Katxzhang (talk) 09:41, 31 October 2021 (UTC)
- Katxzhang, Please assign yourself this article in the Wiki Edu Dashboard and then ping me here. I will then take a look at it and reply. FULBERT (talk) 18:18, 31 October 2021 (UTC)

2. The link of comparison is: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=BuzzFeed&diff=prev&oldid=1052850965
3. During the process, I learned that it is challenging to write with precision while trying to be concise, therefore, massive research in regard to the topic is of vital importance in order to accumulate more insight that eventually contributes to shaping our words effectively. Katxzhang (talk) 13:33, 31 October 2021 (UTC)

Jason Zhou Week 2/ Assignment 2/ Zhouyu2428
1. For week 2 assignment, I evaluated an article on the topic of ecosystem. What I have found is that although the organization of the article is concise and accurate and the sources are all reliable, there is a lack of information on this article because it is very short and not many concurrent examples and concepts are on it. 2. Link to the evaluated article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_ecosystem#See_also 3. I have learned how to evaluate a wikipedia article through this process. The evaluation should be thorough and detailed. --Zhouyu2428 (talk) 20:31, 31 October 2021 (UTC)

Greetings
1. I hope you are all doing well, the article I picked for my assignment is about the Qing Dynasty. The citation I have added is about the Taiping Rebellion, which is an important historical event in the Qing Dynasty. this citation provided a detailed background to this period of history.
2. This is the difference link: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Qing_dynasty&type=revision&diff=1053961096&oldid=1053707252

1. I've been using my new MacBook Air M1 for almost a month. The price and performance of Apple Silicon are excellent, so I'm really curious about the ARM architecture, specifically the new Apple M1 chip. So this week, I kept exploring the fun of editing Wikipedia as an editor and chose the article "Apple M1". I added a paragraph of the development path of Apple M1, and the original source comes from Apple's official web.
2. Link to the diff: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Apple_M1&diff=1053966646&oldid=1053741141
3. The whole process of editing and adding content to Wikipedia enriches my knowledge, and knowledge sharing is made easy by Wikipedia, and this noble deed motivates people to contribute. --Beccabubu (talk) 06:41, 7 November 2021 (UTC)
- Beccabubu, Nice edit overall, though as another editor pointed out you made a claim without a citation. However, other editors did add that and improve upon it, and that is how the editing process works! Current with Week 5. FULBERT (talk) 12:50, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
Week 5/ Assignment 5/ TFMonk19970531
1. I have always been a huge Pokémon fan and I have been waiting for the next generation game for a long time. So I decided to browse about some update information about this new Pokémon game: Pokémon Legends: Arceus. On the Wiki page I found that it does not include some exciting features about this game, which is that some Pokémon have brand new appearance that we've never seen before. So I added some information about that and hope to share with others.
2. Link to the diff: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Pok%C3%A9mon_Legends%3A_Arceus&type=revision&diff=1053993649&oldid=1053546055
3. The process of editing and publish my changes invisibly awakened my sense of responsibility and I feel like I have the duty to make sure others can see latest and authentic information. The process is really interesting. --TFMonk19970531 (talk) 11:53, 7 November 2021 (UTC)
- Nice edit, though please make sure you use a credible enough source. This is especially the case when companies provide information about themselves. Current for Week 5. FULBERT (talk) 12:53, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
Week5/Assignment5/Jw6740
1. I found an article related to women study named "Feminist movement". The article has little information under the section of the businesses and the information author provided is not current. Therefore, I added two sentences and a reference to give more description about the feminist business in the current marketplace.
2. The link to the diff: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Feminist_movement&diff=prev&oldid=1054020920
3. What I learned from this exercise is that the articles on the wiki should be reviewed by more users, in that, the articles can be more accurate and can prevent users from getting incorrect information about specific areas through searching on Wikipedia. Jw6740 (talk) 16:05, 7 November 2021 (UTC)
- Jw6740, Nice edit and citation added. Current for Week 5. FULBERT (talk) 12:56, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

Week 5/ Fifth Post / bl2240
Hi all 1. I was interested in the China- Africa relation article and find that there was little information on the military base of Djibouti mentioned in the article. Then I added some information about this town. 2. Link to the diff: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Africa%E2%80%93China_relations&type=revision&diff=1054303283&oldid=1053943419 3. I learned that even the author is the expert on her field of study, she also need people to help her go through the article, because as human we can never do everything perfectly and Wikipedias is wonderful in letting all people to edit.--Bl2240 (talk) 07:23, 9 November 2021 (UTC)

- Sleep by 11, You did not make a change to the article itself, and please do an edit to a different article than you had in Assignment 4. Reply to me here with your edit on the article itself and then I will check. Be sure any edits you make use the same level of credible evidence as we would use for our own course assignment. --- FULBERT (talk) 00:50, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
- Here is the link of revision history. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tencent&action=history So you can see from here that I fixed a typo.Sleep by 11 (talk) 03:19, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
