Re: Categories script fix
Sorry to bother you with this again. Back in April, I asked whether you could make two changes to your category-sorting script. You said that would look into it and seemingly also began some testing in a sandbox. Could you update me on the current state of this development? Regards, IceWelder [✉] 20:24, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
- @IceWelder, unfortunately, I actually forgot about it until a few hours ago. Let me take a look at it again. – Epicgenius (talk) 21:13, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
- @IceWelder, I just updated the script. Feel free to test it out on a few pages to ensure it's working correctly. – Epicgenius (talk) 21:53, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks! I tested it on a few articles and it now seems to remove spaces between the categories and preceding nav templates (e.g. [1])? IceWelder [✉] 06:26, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hmm... yeah, I forgot that this could happen. I'll work on something later today. – Epicgenius (talk) 12:58, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
- Actually, never mind, I just fixed this now. – Epicgenius (talk) 13:02, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
- Tested it on a couple pages and it works like a charm. Thank you so much! There is one super specific edge case where spaces between categories get sorted instead of being removed, but these are fixed by running the script a second time and don't usually occur anyway, so I don't know whether it needs fixing. One way or another, I am happy with the new changes. Regards, IceWelder [✉] 06:20, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
- You're welcome. I'm glad I could help. – Epicgenius (talk) 13:25, 7 October 2022 (UTC)

TFA
Thank you today for Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House, "about a building that once contained the United States' most profitable custom house. The magnificent design includes a plethora of sculptures and statues on the exterior. The second floor contains a sprawling rotunda with ceiling murals, as well as other rooms embellished with carved details. It was first proposed in 1889 to replace 55 Wall Street, though various delays and disputes pushed back the opening to 1907. It was to be more expensive than every other public building in New York City except for the notorious Tweed Courthouse. The U.S. Customs Service left the building in 1974, and it fell into disuse for several years. Luckily, the building was restored in the 1980s and the building now contains the George Gustav Heye Center as well as U.S. government offices." -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:00, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt, thanks. I really appreciate it. This reminds me of 55 Wall Street's TFA just last month and the Tweed Courthouse's TFA two years ago. I guess time really does fly... – Epicgenius (talk) 15:19, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
