Rebel Wilson
In September 2012, Rebel Wilson served as a guest host on Chelsea Lately. It is common knowledge to viewers of Chelsea Lately and to those who follow Rebel Wilson's career. There was nothing incorrect or malicious about the change I made, but since you felt the need to remove it instead of simply looking it up yourself, here is a link to the episode:
My edit was accurate, factual, appropriate and should have been left unchanged. If you are monitoring this page, it is your responsibility to keep up with new information. Otherwise, the duties should belong to someone else. I decided to look at the page, and noticed that a major hosting job was absent from her filmography, hence why I made the edit. I hope to not hear about this again.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.165.95.72 (talk) 17:56, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you for your note! If you indeed have a reliable source to reference, please add it as a citation in the article itself when you edit it. Telling me here does no good as the next person who comes along to the article can also revert you if you don't leave a source in the article to verify your information. If you need any more help, please feel free to ask! Cheers! —Elipongo (Talk contribs) 18:10, 15 September 2013 (UTC)

RfC to consider
Might you consider offering an opinion on a content dispute between two editors involving the removal of parts of an article on a group of characters in a fictional novel? The discussion is here: Talk:Druids_(Shannara)#BRD_on_recent_large_addition_of_text. Thanks for considering. N2e (talk) 02:25, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
- I've tried several things to fix the poor auto-formatting of my comment. For some reason, unknown to me, that comment I inserted with the "new section" '+' sign at the top of the page got inserted inside some existing template on your Talk page. Very sorry about that! But I seem to be totally unable to fix the problem. Cheers. N2e (talk) 02:39, 16 November 2013 (UTC)

As you may have already heard, the Wikipedia community lost an invaluable member of the community last month. The events are as follows:

Current edits
Hello, I just wanted to apologise for my confusion about recent edits. i just wanted to explain about "Warren United", that, as it is a British programme, I just followed the manner that all the other editors do it for their pages and write "6 (as of such and such date)". A lot of British Wikipedia programme pages like Eastenders or Have I Got News For News For You or Never Mind the Buzzcocks use this process and I thought it would be fine with this British Programme. Basically a lot of the edits that I make, I copy on how other page editors edit. I'm also a Translator and english major so I do some grammatical editing. Just trying to edit and use what I've gleaned from other pages. Thanks184.160.203.195 (talk) 18:36, 22 June 2014 (UTC)samusek2
- Thanks for writing! And thanks for understanding about deleting references and bracketing bare URLs. The number that is left when an URL is put into brackets is from a mostly deprecated citation style where they were used as inline citations. This was before we developed the <ref></ref> tags. As an English major, I'm sure you appreciate the need for proper citations. The bare URLs are less than ideal, so if you really want to help out on that front, you can convert them into proper citations using our handy dandy Citation templates and filling in the appropriate fields. Thanks! —Elipongo (Talk contribs) 19:16, 22 June 2014 (UTC)
Babu Antony
Pardon me. But how is this vandalism? — LeoFrank Talk 16:30, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
- And this one is not on Babu Antony, but on another article. Do we cite sources while adding cats? — LeoFrank Talk 16:35, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
- @LeoFrank: Hi! Thanks for your concerns! It's not vandalism, per se, it's serial WP:BLP violations. If you examine that anon editor's history, you'll note s/he's added that cat to a bunch of biographies without any citation of its being factual, in one (so far) even replacing an atheist cat that was cited in the article's body. I did leave one of their edits (so far) where the article had a referenced mention that the person was involved in evangelical Christian activities. In the particular edit you've linked, I don't believe attendance at a Christian school is sufficient to prove that someone IS a Christian. Thank again for writing! —Elipongo (Talk contribs) 16:45, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
- I agree with your concerns. But in the two articles that I pointed out, the addition of the cat seemed kinda correct :). Feel free to revert me though. Thanks, — LeoFrank Talk 16:47, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
