Regarding your accusations
Here are the links acknowledging that Alag was a remake of Powder: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0813996/movieconnections/?tab=mc&ref_=tt_trv_cnn
https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/Powder
https://alchetron.com/Powder-(film)
https://www.queryhome.com/chill/2848/the-bollywood-film-alag-was-copied-from-which-hollywood-movie
All I did was link the movies in the see also section. Your comment was way too bloated for my tiny edits that you didn't make the slightest efforts to check. Good luck for the next time. --Mahmudmasri (talk) 20:17, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, none of those are reliable sources. Cheers. DonIago (talk) 20:26, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
- And also, you should not abuse the rules, not to admit your mistake. If IMBD is "unreliable", why is it sourced inside the article, Alag? --Mahmudmasri (talk) 22:11, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
- Please tell me what rule I abused, and please review WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Just because IMDb is used someplace else doesn't mean that it's appropriate; see WP:RS/IMDb. DonIago (talk) 02:05, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
- Also, the only place that it's being "used" is as an external link to the article for Alag on the site itself. That is not an endorsement of it as a reliable source. See WP:EL for more information about external links. DonIago (talk) 02:07, 5 May 2020 (UTC)

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows
Hey, regarding my edit to Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, the following links state that some scenes from the film was shot at Elstree Studios, which is located in Hertfordshire. Even though this is not directly mentioned in the article, the Category:Films shot at Elstree Studios was included at the bottom, so I thought it would be accurate to add the Films shot in Hertfordshire category too.The Editor 155 (talk) 11:21, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1515091/locations?ref_=ttfc_ql_5
https://www.elstreestudios.co.uk/film-tv/sherlock-holmes-a-game-of-shadows/
- That actually brings up a different concern, which is that the article doesn't mention that studio, so right now having the Elstree category isn't appropriate either. IMDb shouldn't be used as a source per WP:RS/IMDb, but I'd invite you to add appropriate text to the Production section using one or perhaps both of the other links, mentioning that the studio is located in Hertfordshire, and then re-add the category. How's that sound? Cheers! DonIago (talk) 12:28, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
Okay I added information about filming taking place at Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire to the article with references, and I re-added the films shot in Hertfordshire category. Thanks for your advice.— Preceding unsigned comment added by The Editor 155 (talk • contribs)

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
Saw the Two and a Half Men episode which referenced Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Unfortunately, this episode is available via a paywall, so I can't *prove* it, but here is a link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CP_cxwnNDk). Thank you. 47.156.178.146 (talk) 00:07, 25 May 2020 (UTC)
- You would need to provide an independent source that discussed it in any case, as discussed at WP:IPCV. Cheers. DonIago (talk) 00:16, 25 May 2020 (UTC)

Shrek the Third
Sorry, didn't mean to overstep you there with this edit. I was slower than you at copyediting it, but I was able to get it down to 667. Realized you edited it already after I hit save! Feel free to make further changes if I undid something you wanted to keep. --GoneIn60 (talk) 18:30, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
- There's nothing about that movie that I especially want to keep. :p Good for you for making more aggressive cuts! DonIago (talk) 21:10, 9 June 2020 (UTC)

Underworld
I ask you to stop destroying the articles Underworld: Rise of the Lycans since Kate Beckinsale is the main star of the entire franchise Underworld. And she should be listed as the main actress. Here is the link https:// rotentomatoes.com. 88.71.163.147 (talk) 15:56, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
- If she's the star of this film, please provide a source for it, as you've been asked to do more than once. She's not listed at IMDb[1]. DonIago (talk) 16:08, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
88.71.163.147 (talk) 18:30, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
- Actress has only a very brief appearance in archival material in this film. User reported to AIV. Likely also block evasion of User:84.63.254.69 who has made the same edit. Meters (talk) 19:14, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
I don't know what place you looked. But Kate Beckinsale is indicated in full force with all the actors. Take a closer look at the link IMDb [2].
- Your own link doesn't list her. Well done. DonIago (talk) 19:32, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
- I don't know if this is all the same editor or not, but it has been going on for at least two years across all articles related to the Underworld franchise, using multiple IPs and at least one named account user:Xzf. I just fixed some long standing vandalism where all mention of Laura Harris voicing Selene on Underworld: Endless War had been removed from multiple articles and replaced by Beckinsale.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Meters (talk • contribs)
- If it's multiple IPs and it continues, I'd recommend going through WP:RFPP. Not sure what else to say there. Cheers! DonIago (talk) 02:25, 17 June 2020 (UTC)

- The Life of Brian? I don't know what this is in reference to. You haven't edited that article under the IP which left this comment, and I haven't edited that article since February. If you'd like to continue this discussion, please provide a relevant link or diff. Thanks. DonIago (talk) 02:28, 17 June 2020 (UTC)

Back to the Future
Hi,
I agree some of what I wrote may be considered excessive detail in the plot now that I think about it, but not all of it. I don't think you had to do a total removal of all my edits. Anyway, I think I can re-enter some of them and hopefully that will be satisfactory. Thanks. Rush922(talk) 20:23, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker): Rush922, keep in mind that we have guidance at WP:FILMPLOT to stay under 700 words. Right now, it's at 709 and the recent changes you made took the word count to 727. It actually needs to be trimmed even more. --GoneIn60 (talk) 20:55, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks, GoneIn60. Yes I didn't realize that at first, at first glance it looked a little underdeveloped, I didn't realize it was already near 700 words. Another editor warned me of the same and so I word-checked it myself, and looks like you are right. I will be more careful in future. Rush922(talk) 21:01, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry I'm late to the party; thank you both for talking through this! DonIago (talk) 22:53, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
