1953 de Havilland Comet crash moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 1953 de Havilland Comet crash, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of battles by geographic location, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rus'–Byzantine War. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Fusajiro Yamauchi

[edit]

The article Fusajiro Yamauchi you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Fusajiro Yamauchi for comments about the article. Well done! Source request

[edit]

Just wondering, where did you get access to the L'Historie de Nintendo, used on Fusajiro Yamauchi? — VORTEX3427 (Talk!) 00:40, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's a book I bought, you can find it there : https://omakebooks.com/fr/l-histoire-de-nintendo/274-l-histoire-de-nintendo-vol1.html
But it also exists in english, althought I couldn't find it sold by the official editors. DanganMachin (talk) 10:54, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @DanganMachin: I've noticed that the review of your article Fusajiro Yamauchi was not done fully in accordance with the GA review instructions; therefore, I've reopened the review and unfortunately delisted the article (for now). In particular, there are some sources and photos that went unchecked (though upon a cursory glance, they mostly look okay), and the prose needs to be heavily refined.

Apologies for the inconvenience, and I hope that you are able to eventually get this back to GA quality. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. joeyquism (talk page) 02:53, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Does that mean NatwonTSG2 is still responsible for reviewing my nomination ? Have you contacted them too ? DanganMachin (talk) 11:38, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, Natwon will still be responsible for the review. I’ve contacted them about this already. joeyquism (talk page) 15:06, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally, I have noticed that there is still "0 reviews, 1 GA" on the good articles nominations page next to my username, is that normal ? Shouldn't the 1 GA be removed since the article I promoted was delisted ? DanganMachin (talk) 15:38, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It'll be updated soon; the bot tends to take a while with this. joeyquism (talk page) 18:09, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

W Award

[edit]

Hello, @DanganMachin. I saw on your userpage that you are trying to get a WP:WAWARD. The W Award system is inactive at this moment as no one has been getting any awards for several years. It could be a personal award that you give yourself but the actual W Award process is inactive. Thank you, Cowboygilbert - (talk) ♥ 03:53, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the head up, I am still going to try to go for it for personal gratification, and who knows it might become active again one day ? (: DanganMachin (talk) 09:07, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Your welcome. I do plan on asking the old director, TonyTheTiger, if it would be alright for me to take over. Haven’t tried it yet though. Cowboygilbert - (talk) ♥ 17:46, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
