Disambiguation link notification for May 31
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Creatures (company), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Android (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:08, 1 June 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Blade Runner Black Out 2022 does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Walter Görlitz (talk) 06:59, 3 June 2018 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from IG Port into Signal.MD. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from page name; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted copied template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 10:18, 3 June 2018 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Supermarioparty.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Supermarioparty.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:53, 16 June 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Splatoon series
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Splatoon series, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Disambiguation link notification for February 22
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Shinya Takahashi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fluidity (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Shinyatakahashi.jpg.
Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:48, 23 February 2019 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Bandoribll.png
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Bandoribll.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 7 May 2019 (UTC)

List of Bandai Namco video game franchises
[edit]When you're adding new entries to the list, you need to provide a reliable source showing that it is indeed a franchise and that it is owned by Bandai Namco - in the case of Sword Art Online, you'll need to find sources that validate it being a BN game series. You also don't need to undo *all of my edits* to add it back, as it will just undo all of my work beforehand. Thanks. Also please stop removing the header entries from the Bandai Namco template. Replaceable fair use File:Sumetal1nak.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Sumetal1nak.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text

below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 11:45, 7 July 2019 (UTC)

Twin Engine (company) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Twin Engine (company), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. Currently there is only a single secondary source (interviews are considered primary). It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Twin Engine (company)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Twin Engine (company) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Sionk (talk) 10:57, 28 July 2019 (UTC)

Ways to improve Sunrise Beyond
[edit]Hello, Boyohboy231,
Thanks for creating Sunrise Beyond! I edit here too, under the username Atsme and it's nice to meet you :-)
I wanted to let you know that I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:-
This article is dependent on press releases published by a single source (Anime News Network), which may result in it being redirected to Bandai Namco Holdings.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with Atsme
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~

Deletion discussion about Sunrise Beyond
[edit]Hello, Boyohboy231,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Atsme and it's nice to meet you :-)
I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Sunrise Beyond should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sunrise Beyond .
You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with Atsme

Atsme Talk 📧 12:17, 21 August 2019 (UTC)
This makes no sense. Why this should be deleted when it has plenty of sources to what I posted? It's also no different than other animation studio articles which have most if not all of the sources linked to Anime News Network, which is where the majority of the sources from anime are. Boyohboy231 (talk)
- It's a new company and it's part of an established company so it really should be redirected until it earns its own notability. Notability is not inherited, and WP is not a marketing firm or promotional agency for start-ups. Atsme Talk 📧 15:43, 21 August 2019 (UTC)
Cloverworks, ENGI, Geno Studio and other studios were also new but normally accepted. I don't see what problem is to have the page for the studio to show to readers researching about it and to complete information on wikipedia. Boyohboy231 (talk)
Please be civil

[edit]Hello, Boyohboy231. Thank you for the edit you made at the page Super Mario 3D Land. Unfortunately, the added content is not stated in the main body of the article, nor was there a reliable source attached to the added content. Since this fails verifiability, I have reverted your edit. If you want to re-add your content, please include a source to back up the edit. Peter Fabiano
[edit]Please stop adding Peter Fabiano in the infobox of the Resident Evil 3 remake article, the template documentation says if three or more people are credited as producer, then we should only include the producer who played the most significant role in the game's development. Fabiano is one of 5 producers on the game and Masachika Kawata is credited as Chief Producer making him the lead and the producer who played the most significant role. So stop adding Fabiano back, Thanks. TheDeviantPro (talk) 01:36, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
Infobox video game syntax, designer
[edit]Hi, I noticed you've been putting "design" instead of "designer" in Infobox video game. This is an invalid parameter which causes the page to be added to a maintenance category. I've been fixing them to "designer" but letting you know. -- ferret (talk) 01:29, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
Please don't set image_size in the infobox, unless there's an issue with normal display of the image. image_size will override the user's preference for thumbnail sizes and should generally be avoided. Note also that the caption parameter is just "caption", not "image_caption". -- ferret (talk) 22:52, 7 July 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Bandai Namco Holdings
[edit]Hey there. Given the amount of reverts going on at Bandai Namco Holdings over what way to write its corporate structure, I thought I'd let it boil down into a discussion instead of a potential edit war. I'm rather upset you chose to revert all of my edits to the page, replacing paragraphs discussing its subsidiaries/divisions and instead replacing it with a pretty ugly, inappropriately-designed list of companies with no rhyme or reason. I legitimately do not understand your decision here. You seem very knowledgeable on the structure of Bandai Namco like myself, but I don't like the way you've been trying to structure this page. Articles such as Sega (a recent FA) talk about its corporate structure and subsidiaries, but they're well-written, properly-sourced paragraphs and not just long lists of random companies that don't actually explain their operations and leave the reader confused as to what they are (especially since most don't have their own pages). Repeated citation issues.
[edit]Through every one of the many encounters with your editing that I've come across, I've seen only two instances of even attempting to cite sources. Please familiarize yourself with WP:V to understand the basic policy on what constitutes a verifiable source, refer to WP:RS as a guideline, and go to the WP:VG/S for general reference of what editors in the project have agreed to be reliable or not on basis of policy and precedent where video game content is concerned. If you still don't know how to properly make inline citations or use the syntax, refer to WP:CITE and the various templates that streamline the process.
All content in a page must be sourced. There's no excuse for edits that add claims without valid citations and the fact that you've attempted to add sources in at least two instances in the past that I know of and have been warned on a section above about this about the same problem shifts this from a matter of lacking an understanding of the requirement to one of willful negligence and disregard for policy. If that weren't enough, this becomes an even more serious problem in the context of biographical content as seen on the Toshihiro Nagoshi page. Editing pages with biographical content puts forth a note above the edit window explicitly and clearly outlining the biographical nature of the article and the obligation of the user to adhere to WP:BLP policies. This was explained in both the talk page of the article as well as the edit summaries alongside a clear warning of the potential consequences that come with it. Despite that, you ignored those things completely and still chose to revert the page simply because other WP:BLP relevant pages also break policy: something you heavily contribute to with your edits.
There's also the matter of consensus, which you don't seem to recognize or abide by when it comes to resolutions and conflicts. More information on this matter can be found on WP:CON.
In summary, there is no excuse for not sourcing claims, completely ignoring policy, and disregarding issues raised in talk pages or consensus established in terms of them. Make the effort to understand the policies, apply them, and abide by them. Fact Scanner (talk) 15:07, 20 May 2021 (UTC)

[edit]- I need you to start following WP:BRD - most notably the talk page discussion part. You've implemented your edit three times now, and haven't said a word on the talk page.
- I need you to start making edits according to what reliable sources say, not just this "look at the game" type stuff.
The amount of edits you've made while disregarding BRD or WP:V is unacceptable. I know I've warned you about this in the past too. Cut it out and start following protocol. I've started a talk page discussion on your behalf, so start there. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 11:52, 19 April 2022 (UTC)

You clearly have been editing for some time now. If you're going to be here, start learning how to do things the right way before you get your account blocked for repeatedly doing it the wrong way. [edit]Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Your additions to Super Mario Bros. Wonder are extremely sloppy and riddled with errors. If you're not interested in cleaning up your own work, then post it on the article talk page for other articles to review and add. This is a a popular, high traffic article and all your errors and info without a source is simply unacceptable. Stop it ir you'll end up blocked from editing the article. - Take your most recent edit for example: "Takashi Tezuka is back again at a 2D Mario title as a producer like he has been since New Super Mario Bros., while Shiro Mouri, who previously directed New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, is directing Super Mario Bros. Wonder at his debut in a directional role in a complete new game." This is written like a blurb in marketing materials, not like an encyclopedic article. --ThomasO1989 (talk) 19:17, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Please stop unnecessarily adding WP:PIPE links too. You should never be writing things like Super Mario 64 Just type Super Mario 64 It does the same thing but doesnt clutter the article with unnecessary text. You only need to use PIPED links if, for whatever reason, you want text different from its name to show up in the article. Not for things like italics. - You made this edit.
- You didn't add a source.
- You didn't even provide any attribution for what you were getting this information.
- There is zero commentary present in the article about "level design, art direction, soundtrack and general creativity"
- In short, there's simply zero indication this information came from any source. You need to add wording that explains where sentiments are coming from, and inline citations to show that you're following WP:V.
- You should probably read up on WP:LEAD too, as your edit goes against that as well, but that's a smaller issue. The issue I'm concerned about is how many times you've received warnings on this talk page for making unsourced edits and you still haven't fixed this. - so if i want to add staff or companies involved that appear in the credits i need to go to somehow find a reputable website, tell them the content, somehow make them accept such a request, copy and paste the website and post in here instead of just posting a youtube video showing the credits of the game. bit complicated to make things complete in the pages if thats the case and something that most of the game pages don't even seem to enforce as staff and additional developers are barely if ever sourced.. Boyohboy231 (talk) 17:38, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- Video game websites routinely report on game development staff/companies, so I have no idea why you're framing this as some sort of difficult task. Just use sources deemed okay at WP:VG/S and make sure you follow WP:YOUTUBE, and, most importantly, WP:V. Sergecross73 msg me 17:43, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- they do not, thats the thing. Monolith is the only one reported for totk on websites because its a known lead developer but other companies from nintendo who were involved have been credited and they dont get it. looking at the credits, its there, but no one care about support studios to make articles about them. Only thing im doing is adding info and the only way to do that is by sourcing youtube videos showing credits of said games. and once again, not sure if you look into everything, but as someone who look into the game pages, i never see any source for additional devs or staff most of the time, most people seem to open yt after the game is out or leak, and put what they see on credits in there so thats why it seems strange to me Boyohboy231 (talk) 17:46, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- I see you've continued to violate this even as we actively discuss it, so you're blocked for 3 days. Please take the time to learn how to properly contribute to Wikipedia in the meantime. You've got literal years worth of warnings to review. Sergecross73 msg me 17:47, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- I mean.. this just means im violating by putting back and correcting something that I literally removed before months ago after i noticed it was wrong by.. verifying the credits again...
- once again, i wonder where these sources for staff and additional developers are because I never see them so it seems 95% of the game pages at least dont have this enforced in the way youre saying to me. Are you the only one who enforces it in that way? because that doesn't make sense with how things are out there in most of the pages regarding this subject, honestly. Boyohboy231 (talk) 17:59, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- Are you familiar with the phrase "two wrongs don't make a right"? You observing other people doing it wrong doesn't make it okay for you to do it wrong. And to continue to do it literally before, during, and after I was warning you about it? Come on.
- When your block expires, follow WP:V, or your account will continued to receive blocks. Sergecross73 msg me 18:02, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- i mean.. im pointing out because i dont see that being corrected or changed. Im just trying to understand how this is a thing while most pages out there dont seem to enforce that with most not having sources given for staff and additional developers. Boyohboy231 (talk) 19:13, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- It's difficult to address such a vague, generalized statement, but generally speaking if dev teams/members are not sourced in the infobox, they need to be sourced in the development section. Perhaps you're not checking both places for sources. Or if there's are no sources present, then you're observing things being done the wrong way, and that should be fixed, not emulated.
- Regardless, video game editors generally don't have a problem with this, so I'd spend less time dwelling on this, and more time on changing the way you edit so that you're compliant with WP:RS and WP:V. Sergecross73 msg me 19:49, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- Ok, here's some of the most nintendo games to give examples: Detective Pikachu Returns, Super Mario Bros. Wonder (has two credits for staff, while a good part came from youtube), WarioWare: Move It!, Super Mario RPG. None of those have sources in the page for the staff in there, clearly showing that its picked from youtube and put in there, without even youtube as credit, nothing. this can be seen in hundreds and hundreds if not more all over wikipedia, not just nintendo. staff and additional studios in most cases are out there normally without any problem, thats why this confuses me. It feels like very few people enforce this rule if so many of this isnt changed. Boyohboy231 (talk) 23:08, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- What part of "you're finding examples of it done wrong and not examples of it done right" do you not understand? No amount of errors you find will validate your approach. Feel free to report others who are adding unsourced content to Wikipedia. I'll gladly warn or block anyone else doing it wrong repeatedly even after they've been informed too. But that, and either adding sources or removing unsourced info, is all that needs to be done here. Sergecross73 msg me 23:47, 27 February 2024 (UTC)

- that entire section which btw i didnt built as im just one of the contributors, but it is yet again another example of what i said before on how in wikipedia things are added in the pages by the users without source as its easily verifiable. In the entertainment side of wikipedia at the very least, while a lot is sourced, other things aren't most of the time. Boyohboy231 (talk) 16:42, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

Boyohboy231 (talk) 16:57, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- What's insane is that you've been warned about this up and down your talk page for years, and have ignored it. And now all of a sudden you're shocked you're getting blocked for it? And after that first block expired you return to the exact same thing again?
- You need to get up to speed here. Follow WP:V. Add reliable sources. If you need help with that, read up on WP:REFB. It's not enough to just yell out "it's on their website, check it". Sergecross73 msg me 17:03, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- bro, you cant even verify this for yourself. How can you block me over a thing you don't even know anything about? why didn't you change anything back then? its clearly something completely outside of your area lmao the thing is available in there, the source is https://shonenjumpplus.com/, its already in there. Why dont you go to everyone who edited that page and block them too, huh? or give them warnings? or is it just with me that you will be obsessed with while ignoring everyone else doing the same thing? if this isnt a bizarre behavior idk what it is, because you are'nt even doing this to others in that same page. Boyohboy231 (talk) 17:08, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- I'm struggling to see why you feel singled out here. I routinely block or page protect in response to editors not using sources. I'm currently on my 33rd subsection of responding to editors reporting misconduct to me. One of the most common reasons for taking action is unsourced editing. This is not a rare situation at all. The only rare part is that you've avoided blocks for so long. It looks like you've received a warning for unsourced editing literally at least once a year since 2018, most years more than once. I can't comprehend how you have such a blind spot for that. You've been given more chances than most, and have still refused to change. Sergecross73 msg me 17:19, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

- Like who though? I asked you a week ago, and told you I'd warn/block them too. You never followed up.
- Regardless, it feels like we're talking circles here. Feel free to post an WP:UNBLOCK request if you'd like another Admin to review your block. But all this finger pointing isn't going to help your case. Sergecross73 msg me 18:26, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- I mean.. literally everyone who edited the page that you blocked me and didn't add any source? the history of the page i there to look at. Much like in other pages, it feels like im the only one who have to add sources for every edit I do, even though some don't exactly need it. as someone who edit and have many pages in a watchlist, i see how many add stuff without sources, and it doesn't feel like they are blocked or have any problem.
- btw since you want the source, this is the source for the new series I added: https://www.shonenjump.com/p/sp/shinrensai_2024/03/
- you know why I didn't add it? because literally no one else did for any other series either. like i said many times, this behavior is all over wikipedia and dont seem like most admin do much against it, if anything,it feels like you are one of the only ones who make it a must to add sources to every single edit. - theres 2 ways to do it, one via websites another via credits of the own game but.. neither of those you accept. Its kind of frustrating and im not even the one who edited that one.. the game will be out and credits will be on youtube but that cant be credited even though the entire staff is seen in there, which is another issue as every game has staff put in it but none of them have sources and if the source is youtube it cant happen (even though the entire game section has staff without source for it, clearly done with just looking into youtube for credits).
- Oh yeah and its so clear you don't even know what you're talking about in relation to that page that you didn't even remove what I added, showing your lack of knowledge in the subject and just the insistence of this behavior while the very literal source is IN the page with the shonen jump plus website where you can find the new series in there. Boyohboy231 (talk) 16:57, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- You have been completely obsessed with me for god knows what reason to the point that you don't even understand how that page is structured and to the point that you basically ignore everyone else in that who literaly do the same thing. Insane behavior. Boyohboy231 (talk) 16:52, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- The source IS IN THERE, its the website of the magazine. Stop stalking me to sections of this website you don't even understand dude, holy moly. Boyohboy231 (talk) 16:51, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- And I've already told you that's not acceptable. You're re-blocked for 2 weeks. When you return, always add sources when you add/change content, or these blocks will keep happening. Sergecross73 msg me 16:47, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- the website for the magazine, for gods sake lol Boyohboy231 (talk) 16:41, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- What source? What website? The entire section looks to be unsourced. Sergecross73 msg me 16:24, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- Read your own source. It says a random dataminer on the internet made the observatation that a demo "uses a naming convention associated with Japanese studio Good-Feel". That falls quite a ways short of "proving" or "confirming" they're the developer. Between that, and Nintendo's refusal to confirm, and it should be pretty simple to see why it should not be stated as simple fact.
- Follow WP:V. Use inline citationss. Learn how at WP:REFB. Don't violate WP:YOUTUBE. Examples of usable/unusable sources can be found at WP:VG/S. I cannot break it down any simpler for you. If this is too hard for you, you need to go find some fan wikia with more lax rules or something. If you can't follow these simple rules, your account will just keep getting blocked. Sergecross73 msg me 17:12, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- I understand everything you say. Im just saying that this doesn't seem to be applied in wikipedia for the game section in the staff tab that never has sources and clearly is just the staff picked from the credits on youtube. If you are doing your job as adm for this matter, it doesnt seem like others are doing at least in the same way and are actually being more lax. Boyohboy231 (talk) 20:51, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
Blocked
[edit]An editor made this report to me, which is correct, it appears many parts of your edits at that page are indeed not supported by sources. As promised, you are blocked again. 1 month this time, will be indefinite next time. Sergecross73 msg me 11:05, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
- First of all, I created and maintained that page for years. Second of all, I literally sourced everything I said and it's in there in japanese. Fuck you you pathetic fucker Boyohboy231 (talk) 00:57, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
- You do a terrible job and have been doing it for ages already, leave all of that shit to you, you piece of garbage. Fuck you and all of your bullshit and obsession with doing things exactly your way. Throw all of this into your ass, tired of your bullshit already. Boyohboy231 (talk) 01:00, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
