Article "Dome Theatre"
Hello! The article "Dome Theater" (disambiguation) was designed on the English project to place readers in all of the known "Dome Theater". And hoping that other articles will be created on these namesakes. With regret, I note that you have just deleted this article. Damage to the readers of the English project! And this is not the first time that you have deleted the good work of your colleagues. I understand that you are blindly applying interest to the rule (as you understand it). With regret, your article deletion impoverishes the content of the English Wikipedia project. Hopefully one day the best interest of the readers will prevail in the work of the WP reviewers. - Veillg1 16:45, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
- Suggest that you get a clue about the purpose of disambiguation pages before making infantile accusations. But then, you've already demonstrated a complete disregard and lack of interest in applying existing guidelines. older ≠ wiser 16:05, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
Very strange
Is there a reason why you have been following me around and reverting my edits? It’s very strange and is making me feel uncomfortable. What is your problem with me?--EsotericJoe (talk) 23:37, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
- I have many disambiguation pages on my watchlist. You made some edits to the pages against WP:MOSDAB which I restored. older ≠ wiser 00:24, 4 July 2020 (UTC)
Inappropriate erasing of hatnotes
You continue to systematically delete several hatnotes affixed at the beginning several articles on WP (eg recent: Bouchard River, Franquelin River, Lessard River, Amédée River, Françoise River, etc.) on which I have worked. You exaggerate! We respect the fact that you do not perceive the usefulness of several hatnotes; in return, you are expected that you respect the fact that these hatnotes are useful for other users. You have no sustainable arguments. Please stop erasing the good work of your colleagues. Otherwise, a request will be sent to the administrators in order to take action against you. If your deletion practice continues, I will be forced to make a request to the administrators.--- Veillg1 (talk) 00:45, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
- Quite the contrary. You persist in adding hatnotes to articles where the title is unambiguous, which is strongly discouraged by the hatnote guideline WP:NOTAMB, although like so many other editing guidelines, you simply disregard or ignore it. Please go ahead and see what other administrators have to say about the quality of your edits. older ≠ wiser 00:12, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
IIT
I was following the MIT article style. In the same way, IIT predominantly refers to the Indian Institutes of Technology most of the time. I added the redirect to Indian Institutes of Technology due to that and moved the disambiguation page appropriately. You didn't explain your rollback well either.Manabimasu (talk) 00:23, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
- A few issues with your edit. 1) it was a WP:cut and paste move which is rarely if ever appropriate. 2) There was no consensus to move the disambiguation page. The move had been previously proposed and rejected. You're welcome to see if new consensus can be established, but please follow instructions at WP:RM older ≠ wiser 00:39, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for informing me.Manabimasu (talk) 00:40, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
Negative comments after amendments
In the historic tab of the article "Rivière du Milieu" (English project), you posted this message after an amendment to a paragraph in the article: "cleanup after editor unwilling or incapable of following disambiguation guidelines". Unfortunately your negative comments about me come up often on some talk pages, even for minor edits in the articles. Your comment is false; and the negative tone is totally unjustified on WP. If you don't immediately stop writing negative comments about me or about my written contribution, I'll be forced to ask WP admins to get tough on you. For your benefit, in general WP has good guidelines; and I do my best to apply them well even if some parts of the rules need to be amended. Certainly, many of our editorial contributions to the Wikipedia articles we work together are suitable for both of us. Our dispute concerning certain points on the English project. Let us hope that in the future we will be able to adjust each other to advance this great project of universal encyclopedia and in mutual respect. --- Veillg1 (talk) 16:00, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
- I stand by my comments about your persistent and apparently deliberate refusal to follow standard editing guidelines. As I said previously,
Please go ahead and see what other administrators have to say about the quality of your edits.
older ≠ wiser 15:48, 23 July 2020 (UTC)- (talk page watcher) @Veillg1: Your creation today of Port-Daniel suggests that the phrase "unwilling or incapable of following disambiguation guidelines" is accurate. If you continue to waste other editors' time by going against MOS:DAB you may eventually be reported at ANI and perhaps find yourself blocked for this disruptive editing. You apparently don't like the rules: then argue for change in an appropriate venue, but please stop ignoring them. PamD 16:17, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
Murica
Can you tell me why on earth a music album called Murica should be filed in the damb page Murcia (disambiguation)? --Jotamar (talk) 17:16, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
- Murica redirects to Murcia. older ≠ wiser 18:46, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
- Well, that redirect makes no sense. It needs to be changed. --Jotamar (talk) 16:02, 3 August 2020 (UTC)

Notice of ANI that mentions you in passing
Greetings, FYI I filed a request at WP:ANI titled "CIR-based community-imposed site ban re: RTG". In providing a basis for my request I mentioned you and your prior dealings with this editor. Your input at ANI is optional, i.e., invited but not specifically requested. Thanks for reading. NewsAndEventsGuy (talk) 13:04, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
Favorite edit
Hi Bkonrad, I see that you reverted my edit in "Favorite DAB" article. As the reason you give was that it was "not mentioned in the linked article", I have added it again, but now with a link to the List of shipwrecks of that day. (This gallery from the Chicago Tribune is another source).
The wreck is notorious bc it is said that Johnny Weissmuller took part in the rescue of the victims ( Official bio and this pdf). It is not been added to Weissmuller article, due that maybe it's a apocryphal story (see discussion). Alexcalamaro (talk) 08:07, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
Shady
I saw that you reverted the changes made to Shady. The thing is that there's non-article entries for Aviator and Scratch. Clearly there should be some for Scratch. I'm just confused as to why those two needed to be taken down. -Prince Silversaddle (talk) 15:15, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Prince Silversaddle: The entire purpose of disambiguation pages is to help readers navigate to existing articles with relevant content supporting the claimed usage. If there is no existing article that supports the entry, it doesn't belong on the disambiguation page. older ≠ wiser 16:00, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
Your revision of Purcell (disambiguation)
Good day. I can see moving Edward Purcell somewhere else on the page, but how can a notable person named Purcell not be on topic for a disambiguation page? Constant314 (talk) 19:03, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
- Never mind. I figured it out. Constant314 (talk) 19:10, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
