This is for your work at Erika Harlacher, thank you for your work in improving the article. Even if it is not kept, it is the effort that counts! Knowledgekid87 (talk) 11:52, 26 April 2016 (UTC) |
- Thanks. Much appreciated! I think it should be kept. There are lots of other VAs that don't get lead roles and are in far worse shape in articles that I can't justify, but when the VA has like at least six lead roles in shows that are currently the core of the Adult Swim / Toonami and Netflix broadcasts, that's got to count for something. It's really frustrating dealing with the drive-by attitude sometimes, where I have to put in 5 hours of solid research to address 5 minutes of complaining. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:35, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
Hi Anguswoof, Can u please edit it Saskia Maarleveld for birthday? I saw on facebook that she saying to people, thank u etc.. beacause people saying late birthday. And can u also edit it her discography it is empty, and I think u are good with those things. Hello are u they are?--Maxie1hoi (talk) 18:25, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
I can't confirm which day was her birthday based on that Facebook post [1] It could either be September 2 or 3 as she posted in the morning. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:00, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- Okay, but can u add it audiobooks etc on discography? It is empty. I am bad with those things and u are just good!--Maxie1hoi (talk) 19:55, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- She voices in over a hundred books, but you should list only the ones where she has won awards or if the book itself is highly notable. I put one entry down already. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:32, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- Why u delete it 2-3 september, and linked Tecna and Jenny and why not Yoko? Andy why u first linked characters from the articel Soler and why u the link deleted from the characters?--Maxie1hoi (talk) 20:52, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- Because it's not sourced. Geez, please fill out your sources when you add personal information like that. I don't understand your second question. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:55, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- I mean: Why u linked Tecna and Jenny and why not Yoko to characters link from the articel self? And why u first add characters link to Soler's animation/anime profile and why then delete the linkin?--Maxie1hoi (talk) 21:04, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- Yoko's a minor character. I added her link but had to make an anchor from the character list she was on. I'm still confused about what you want to edit for Rebecca Soler. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:10, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- Winx Club link in the filmography should only need the first link to the TV series and to Tecna. For the season 7, it does not need a link. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:12, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
I mean why u first the characters linked to a articel about the characters? And then move the link? By the articel Soler?--Maxie1hoi (talk) 10:09, 28 April 2016 (UTC)

I am new and don't know all the templates things and not all other wikipedia things yet. I did that because I know I am not getting the notifications when I get a reply regardless if "watch this page" is check or not. If that is what it does. Hey, I noticed you've been working on the article for the past few days. Is there a possibility that it could be improved to Good Article status in the future? Given her popularity in Japan, there's a lot of sources which can be used (both Japanese and English) to improve and expand her article.
P.S. Wait: how did you get involved in the Kalyeserye article? Are you interested in Filipino media? Just curious since I'm Filipino. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 11:34, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
- Most of the ones are cast announcements and what lead character she will play in the series. It does need reviews, but the articles can be used to describe the longevity of the various series. The music career section looks pretty good, but the non-music section still needs to be developed. It could use a lot more interviews and secondary Hanazawa-featured articles. Otherwise it could face AFD as with Erika Harlacher. Yes, it could be a GA later on. I was trying to clean up the filmography and she's been in a ton of lead roles in the 2010s, ranked third on two Newtype annual polls and topped the year after that, and having top ten albums on Oricon where it's dominated by 48-group acts is pretty impressive. My involvement in Kalyeserye came up mainly from a debate of whether the series even deserved its own episode list page as it was originally a segment from their talk show. But it grew big and notable enough to warrant that and it helped a lot that the episodes had been archived. Then came a ton of fancruft cleanup and whether stuff like were the hashtags even official, could even be sourced (it was but only with lots of effort). I tried watching the show but it didn't have English subtitles so I can't update its plot. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:10, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
Voicechasers
There were quite a few sites like Voicechasers, Anime News Network, Behind the Voice Actors, etc. that do credit/recognize the uncredited dubbed voice actors for Kill la Kill. AnimeEditor (communicator • database) 00:25, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
- ANN database can't be used. See WP:ANIME/RS Behind The Voice Actors does not check-mark any of the voice actors. [2] The actual closing credits do not list them either. That only leaves voicechasers which I've posted to WT:ANIME on whether that is a reliable source. At least one of the contributors to that is recognized in the animation industry. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:27, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
- Well in that case, surely we can rely on Voicechasers. That is why I attempted to make that a reliable source. AnimeEditor (communicator • database) 00:45, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
- Any luck on Voicechasers being used as a reliable source? AnimeEditor (communicator • database) 21:08, 18 May 2016
- I haven't heard much from the WT:ANIME group. But I would say it can be used as reliable source / self-publish only for the actors thanked in the About Voice Chasers section, [3] and not so much for random actors as it's not clear how they confirm that. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:12, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
Welcome to the club
Nice to see you at RfD. Your insightful input is always useful even if I disagree with you. With full disclosure another editor has suggested I be banned from editing redirects at WP:ANI#SimonTrew so I am being rather guarded in what I say, but I do appreciate your contributions even if I disagree with you. I am not trying to WP:CANVASS just say a sincere thank you, I for one appreciate it and it is not said often enough to thank other contributors. I for one am very bad at it. I like the "thank" option the Wikimedia folks put in but I do think they missed when not being able to thank back. I appreciate that could be recursive but it is just like one chap raises his hat another chap raises his hat. Not so much "thanks" as "you're welcome" or "bitte" or "szivesen" or whatever language you want. They could have limited it at the first reply and then both parties would be happy. Si Trew (talk) 09:02, 19 May 2016 (UTC)

Down below the article say's his live action roles he did? 2601:188:C502:1F80:DD1E:99B1:201:7526 (talk) 21:27, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
- Those are minor guest roles. Please consider WP:WEIGHT. Just because someone is a politician or sports figure and appears as a guest on Saturday Night Live doesn't mean he's suddenly a Wikipedia-notable actor. He's primarily a voice actor. That's what goes in his infobox. Voice actors in general are actors. They do radio and assorted commercial spots. They do theatre. They even sing but that doesn't mean they are Wikipedia-notable singers. That would require they release tracks professionally and have a label. Some are bloggers and have websites. Some are athletes or have some sort of day job like being a teacher (Allison Keith), flight attendant (Sasha Paysinger), or a bartender (Trina Nishimura). That doesn't mean that's their Wikipedia-notable occupation. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:32, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
Ladybug logo PNG
Most cartoon pages use a hd png as the infobox image. Here is one: http://i.imgur.com/3NPvpVi.png it is of the most recent logo. Please upload it cause I cannot. Nyantatata (talk) 02:50, 28 May 2016 (UTC)
- Can you upload it to commons and see if you can get it approved for licensing? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 03:09, 28 May 2016 (UTC)
- I'm not quite sure how to do that. Do you mind doing it for me? I don't want to do something horribly wrong. Nyantatata (talk) 17:36, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
- The problem is that it is a copyrighted logo / image, so it's not something that can be freely uploaded and added to Commons. I suggest talking with Soren121 about it as the user was able to get the title card uploaded succesfully. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:33, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
- It can't be uploaded to Commons since it's non-free, but you can upload a low-resolution copy to Wikipedia since the use of logos for identification is fair-use. @Nyantatata: where did you find that image? Soren121 (talk) 22:17, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
- I found it on Disney Channel UK's page for the show. I can lower the resolution and link that? I'm still not allowed to upload files to Wikipedia. Nyantatata (talk) 04:24, 30 May 2016 (UTC)
OEC Taipei WTA Ladies Open redirect
You have be careful in changing the link to a redirect. Several players had links to the older event that were now broken with your change. I went to the older players and seasons and fixed them, but you should always check that your change doesn't break a whole mess of items. If it was more than just a handful I would have had to revert your changes. Fyunck(click) (talk) 20:44, 31 May 2016 (UTC)
- OEC one should refer to the Taipei Open event as of 2007-present. OEC did not sponsor the WTA Taipei one from the 1980s and 1990s. Apologies if this messed up the links. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:47, 31 May 2016 (UTC)
- I agree with you... but the older player links and several WTA season articles got broken with your change. I had to fix them. You should always check the "What links here" tool to make sure those links are fixed before a change is made. Otherwise no problems. Cheers. Fyunck(click) (talk) 20:53, 31 May 2016 (UTC)
- Also try to keep the sponsored name out of titles unless it's referring to a specific year. Fyunck(click) (talk) 21:07, 31 May 2016 (UTC)
- I'm trying to clean up the dab one. It doesn't make sense to list it as Taipei Open in the Taiwan Open (disambiguation) page. It's not even a partial title match. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:09, 31 May 2016 (UTC)
- It does make sense when a common name around the world for the event is the Taiwan Open. We are trying to help our readers find the event and that's what they may know it by. Fyunck(click) (talk) 21:16, 31 May 2016 (UTC)

Trigun characters
You are are probably right about Kuroneko although that's not why I'm here. Do you think there is much scope for character reception on that article? Vash is easy and Wolfwood should be doable, but enough to support the whole article? I'm not convinced. I was half considering s bold merge, and the parent article already has a reasonable section on the characters. The movie characters can be mentioned on the relevant article. I'm undecided but this is the sort of article we should be weighing up the possibilities of making a decision on.SephyTheThird (talk) 17:42, 7 June 2016 (UTC)
- A bold merge to the main Trigun article would be fine too. There are really just the main characters that can be discussed. Other ones such as the Gung-Ho Guns can be dictionary listed on the main page. They appear for a few chapters/episodes and then get eliminated. Amelia and Gasback can stay on the Badlands Rumble page. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:45, 7 June 2016 (UTC)
- Vash already has his own character page. It needs to be trimmed down and sourced, but I think it's fine where it is. Wolfwood also has his own page. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:46, 7 June 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, I took a look at Vash but between the amount of text and the time since I read or watched the series I'm not yet sure if I'm going to give it a shot. I'll have a think about the merge, I need to consult a couple of things when I get home first. SephyTheThird (talk) 18:07, 7 June 2016 (UTC)
- If you have the manga, you might want to check whether it had character profiles up front to determine whether they have notability? I can't remember if Trigun Maximum had such profiles. If they list a bunch of characters and you think it might be excessive to merge then keep it where it was. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:06, 7 June 2016 (UTC)
- I still have the two Trigun books somewhere but not Maximum as I was a naughty boy with that. I was just going to check the McCarthy 500 Heroes/Villains book and an issue of Otaku USA which has a feature (largely on the movie iirc). SephyTheThird (talk) 19:11, 7 June 2016 (UTC)

Hi Anguswoof, It is sourced that 3Beep is recording world of winx! See Haven Paschall's comment on my picture. Funimation voice actors
I need your help on this page: http://voiceacting.wikia.com/wiki/Talk%3AFUNimation_Entertainment MrWii000 (talk) 15:39, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
- What about that page? Are you still trying to maintain that list? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:51, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
- Sort of, but I need some help. Please? MrWii000 (talk) 02:32, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
- I think you can just make the category for Funimation, and then you don't have to worry about counting roles or guess which voice actor's role in Funimation is their most notable or debut. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 05:41, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
- For the Funimation article there, you can use their debut year and work with Funimation and not their most notable role with the company. That should be a lot easier to source. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:15, 30 June 2016 (UTC)

Jason Liebercht role
For godsake stop being so annoying Rob Lucci is at least a strong character from one piece and if you know about Rob Lucci then please answer what kind of character is he
What character that Jason Liebercht is strongly associate with does not even damm matter all that is to know that he is notable for voicing that particular character he is just notable for voicing the character and it does not had to be an extremely notable character like joker or Batman and also that has nothing to do with it Ron Lucci (talk) 19:16, 6 July 2016 (UTC)Ron LucciRon Lucci (talk) 19:16, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
- In template:Infobox person/doc under notable_works: "Title(s) of notable work(s) (publications, compositions, sculptures, films, etc.) by the subject, if any; produces label "Notable work". May be overridden by |credits=, which produces label "Notable credit(s)"; or by |works=, which produces label "Works". "Credits" and "Notable work" are intended to be short in-line lists; "Works" is intended to link to a list article for a larger body of work, not all of which may be individually notable." Then look at List of One Piece characters. Where's Lucci on that page? He's only mentioned as a supporting character in CP9. That's hardly notable. That is also not Jason's most notable role. If you read his current profile that he posts for anime conventions HERE you'll see that Lucci is way down there among a list of 15-20 anime roles. So you either put down extremely notable roles or scrap that from the infobox. You'll notice on a lot of actors they don't list it there but leave that for the filmographies. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:59, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
You do not know a damm thing about Lucci then let me tell you this he is not supporting character he is a major antongist in one piece and CP9 is a major antongist group in one piece and the list of one piece character page does not tell much and also you don't know about any other one piece character other then the main character and also this animeusa.org probally does not tell much about character Either they just simply display the role of the Character it might be true that actor do not display many of their role in the infobox but that does not matter like I said it does not had to be extreme notable and again you do not know a damm thing about Lucci or CP9 03:14, 7 July 2016 (UTC)Ron LucciRon Lucci (talk) 03:14, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
- You're applying your own WP:POV on his most notable role. What does the list tell you about his relative importance to the entire One Piece franchise? So he's a major antagonist for a story arc? Fine. Is his acting carrying the franchise? Not really. But back to the original point: when people think of Jason Liebrecht, One Piece isn't what comes to mind. Otherwise news articles and convention profiles would put that up front and say stuff like "best-known as Rob Lucci in One Piece". It doesn't matter how much I personally know about Lucci. It matters what these news articles say whether he's important or whether it's Liebrecht's most notable role in his career. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 03:41, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
- And I have repeatedly said, it's good enough that he is listed in the lead paragraph. If it is as strongly notable as you said, perhaps you can write into his biography section on how he landed that role and how critics have reacted to his work in the series? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 03:47, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
He might reprise his role as Lucci in the future when one piece film gold come up in english and also the new article about him is not important as you think ·and× it not good enough at all being just in the lead paragraph and anything about liebercht career is inrevent what is his role voicing strong and powerful antongist in the one piece series and what impact he would made in the series in the past or current timeline is inrelevent Ron Lucci (talk) 05:36, 7 July 2016 (UTC)Ron LucciRon Lucci (talk) 05:36, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
DYK for Attack on Titan
On 9 July 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Attack on Titan, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Brock Lesnar was used as a model for the appearance of the Armored Titan in Attack on Titan? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Attack on Titan. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Attack on Titan), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Michael Liscio Jr
A user created an article on Michael Liscio Jr. Is he really that notable or should his article be nominated for deletion? He only really has two roles of note, but both are main roles. I also found coverage in AminoApps but I'm not sure about that source's reliabilty. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 13:52, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
- He won't stay around if the only coverage is with Pokemon and when the article lacks any secondary sources to meet WP:GNG. A convention announcement won't cut it. Amino looks like social media like Facebook [6] so articles coming from there that aren't primaries are probably not usable. There was a heated AFD and discussion over at talk:Mike Pollock where he is notable for his role in Sonic, but the fanbase could not come up with any secondary sources to meet WP:GNG (multiple roles in multiple productions). Mike himself participated in the discussion. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:49, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
Question Regarding Citation of JP Wiki
Hi! If you actually read my commit comment first, you would have noticed that JA Wiki uses an original source, and it is the only source available on the net that I have been able to find.
If this is unacceptable, you should go ahead and remove the citation in the JA Wiki as a non-independently verifiable source. I am not sure why you and this other editor keep modifying my edit on the English page, whilst doing nothing about the JA page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Top5a (talk • contribs) 17:59, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
- Can you cite that original source that the JA Wiki refers to then? You can use cite video game if it shows up as an on-screen credit or cite manual if it is in the pamphlet. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:06, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
I did cite it... The source is literally --> レーザーアクティブ版説明書掲載のバックストーリーより。
Which means that the evidence is on the back of the included instruction manual for LaserActive, which I stated in my English description of my link to this citation on the JA Wiki, in case readers of the English article do not speak sufficiently strong Japanese. No photo evidence is provided by that editor on the JP Wiki.
I understand that the source does not sufficiently meet Wiki's criterion of independently verifiable, but, seeing as it is "good enough" for the JA Wiki, I assumed that it was strong enough to reference on the English version. If not, however, you should remove the citation from the JA Wiki. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Top5a (talk • contribs) 18:14, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, it should be removed from JA wiki. It doesn't even show up in her VADB credits. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:16, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
> She is listed on other sites as "uncredited" in it, but it is "common knowledge" that she is on forums.
- Okay, if it's from the actual manual, then cite the manual itself, don't add the url to JA Wikipedia. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:17, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
> I do not feel personally citing the manual, because I do not have such manual. Hence my deference to the person who has it on JA Wiki, and hence my point of referencing it there. Thus, you should delete this citation from JA Wiki, or reinstate my original reference to it.
>> Addendum: I have found a photo source. I will cite and update on both English and JA Wiki. Anyway, my irritation stemmed from the fact that the edit was deleted without sufficient reasoning aside from referencing another Wiki, even though the other wiki did /not/ reference an external source. I'm sure you can empathize with that. Top5a (talk) 20:18, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
Proper name of Kappa Pegasi
I have seen you have added that Kappa Pegasi has the traditional name Jih. I did not find any reliable source for that name (taking into account that h2g2.com and similar websites are not reliable). Hoewever, I did find a reliable source stating that it has no proper name (the website of Jim Kaler), so I have edited the article accordingly. I leave this message to inform you about it. If you have a reliable source about Jih being a traditional name for this star, please, update the article. Eynar Oxartum (talk) 09:55, 2 August 2016 (UTC)
- That came about from the redirect discussion for Gee / Jih in which the dab page had an entry pointing to Kappa Pegasi. Since that's stricken from the actual article, I have removed it from the Jih (disambiguation) page. Thanks for checking that. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:00, 2 August 2016 (UTC)

Restructuring Anime pages
I am appreciate the fact that you have done such a good job. But does the installation of Japanese name is necessary? Anyway, while you were using sites to cite, I noticed that some shows are not fixed into anime pages. Such example is Yukana, whose character Mezool in Kamen Rider OOO is labelled in Anime section despite said show is a tokusatsu (this is however regarded as a common mistake since certain tokusatsu series in Japan are labelled under anime section). I have fixed that though, and there is something that I need help with: can you provide me a list of seiyuu pages whose roles had been restructured? (based on your knowledge)
Zero stylinx (talk) 13:43, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
- Japanese name is there temporarily until the English name can be determined. Most of the entries are starting from a raw Google translate so I'm gradually cleaning those up. If it belongs in tokusatsu, then please move it over to the tokusatsu section. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 13:50, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
- This is why I wanted a list of restructured voice actors, so that I can fix them. Due to restructuring, several of the tokusatsu roles had been vanished and I wish to revive them with legitimate sources for the Tokusatsu fans to enjoy. I also appreciate the wikipedia's protocol to cite any valuable informations, so that the info may not be considered bias.Zero stylinx (talk) 14:06, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
- You could start with the ones I listed on my user page. Basically if you see a filmography chart with lots of references to VADB or Hitoshi Doi's anime page, then chances are good that it's something I've restructured and might have left some tokusatsus among anime sections if they were sourced. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:12, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
Liam O'Brien Page
Saw that the Liam O'Brien page was vastly changed, taking out many of the credits he had beforehand. Having it in table form like film and stage actors is good although i'm curious about a few things. Is this a new guideline or something to that effect? Is it simply a move for consistency? How do you decide which additions were removed from the previous listing and which ones were removed?
I just want to reiterate, i'm not opposed to your actions. I just want to know the motivation and the foresight for the article. Sincerely Subzerosmokerain (talk) 13:42, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- It's the same guideline about requiring sources. That's always been there. See WP:FILMOGRAPHY In fact the article was specifically tagged for requiring more sources, which is why it got the makeover. The filmography format is there because it has a column for sources plus it allows the reader to see when their work they voiced in was released. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:08, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- As for why non-notable roles were removed, please read Talk:Yuri Lowenthal for extensive discussion by editors who wanted to remove the entries altogether. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:09, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
Removing Crystal Acids?
Why are you removing Crystal Acids?--AnimeDisneylover95 (talk) 14:06, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
- It's been questioned as a reliable source: [7] AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:31, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
- I've been commenting out the entries but I believe all the ADV ones can be directly referenced to their cite episodes as their data comes straight out of the closing credits. Other companies I'm not so sure as Bang Zoom and Monkey Post sometimes list roles with their actors and sometimes not. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:33, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
- See Greg Ayres for one of the crystalacids to cite episode conversions. They're kind of painful but worth it for ADV. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 01:59, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
Star vs. the Forces of Evil Revision
Hey, you deleted my changes to the Star vs. the Forces of Evil page, what's up with that? I was trying to refresh the page by giving it more details about the characters, and bringing back the characters that were removed from the page. If the principal, Oscar, Tom, and Ludo's minions weren't good enough characters to be mentioned on the page, the least someone could do is make a new section called Recurring characters, for characters that only show up every so often. And, to be honest, Star and Marco's character descriptions are beginning to become boring. Also, why get rid of the Animation production companies? This is highly disrespectful to the one animation company that actually matters, Mercury Filmworks, and that company doesn't even have a Wikipedia page, same goes for Sugarcube Animation, and I didn't even know about Sugarcube Animation until someone mentioned Season 2 would be animated by Rough Draft Korea and Sugarcube Animation. So please, help me out here, what can be done to keep my changes? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dillopedia (talk • contribs) 08:31, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- The recurring characters aren't highly notable. Oscar and Tom are guest-level characters according to the press releases and cast announcements. You'll see they are highlighted in the episode listing themselves. The recurring characters such as Ludo's minions aren't notable enough to have individual entries. King Butterfly's first name is too trivial to be listed and should not be bolded as it is not the character's common name. As for the animation companies, you need to provide references for the specific production companies used for each episode. That means news articles that list the particular production companies, or cite episode if you are citing the closing credits. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 08:37, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- You'll also notice that the Disney press releases only list some of the recurring characters and voice actors such as King and Queen Butterfly, Skullnick, Ferguson and others. Not the minor students. None of Ludo's minions. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 08:40, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- I've added Oskar, Tom and Glossaryck as they have recurring roles in season 2, more so than Ferguson, Alonzo and Pony Head. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:15, 15 August 2016 (UTC)

Favor
Hey AngusWoof, I was wondering if you can do my a big favor. I noticed a mistake on the Travis Willingham article, it say's that he's an American "actor", but it should say American "voice actor", can you please fix that for me, I can't edit the article because it's been protected for some strange reason. That's all I wanted too ask about, ok. It's just a small edit I wanted to be fixed. 70.192.15.119 (talk) 17:48, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
- It says "actor that provides voice-overs". Changing that to "voice actor that provides voice-overs" is redundant. Article was protected because some IPs kept listing both actor and voice actor when that violates MOS:BLPLEAD which says you should only list their Wikipedia-notable occupation. "The notable position(s) or role(s) the person held should usually be stated in the opening paragraph. However, avoid overloading the lead sentence with various sundry roles; instead, emphasize what made the person notable. Incidental and non-notable roles (i.e. activities that are not integral to the person's notability) should usually not be mentioned in the lead paragraph." Actor isn't what makes Willingham notable. Voice acting, yes. But the initial wording lends itself to putting actor. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:55, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
Ok, I understand now. Also sorry, my IP address changes on it's own occasionally, that's why I'm replying from a different IP, and I apologize about that too. I'm also sorry for wasting you time about this. 2600:1000:B022:AA53:A802:B109:2818:22D8 (talk) 19:03, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

Joel McDonald
Joel McDonald is a Dallas based voice actor whose page has been deleted two times - see AFD 1 and AFD 2. That was back in 2012. 4 years later, I believe Joel has garnered enough significant roles to redeem his own article. Here's a list of Joel's roles on ANN. As I have never recreated a deleted page before, could you provide assistance and point in the right direction on what I should do? Looking at Joel's roles, do you think he passes WP:ENT? --Sk8erPrince (talk) 13:02, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- You could make a draft page for him. I think he has enough lead roles, especially with the Initial D Funimation dub (Takumi is the lead character), Sekirei (Minato is the lead character), and Space Dandy (Meow is main cast), but it is difficult to find news articles about him from secondary sources. He also directed on the One Piece Funimation dub. The anime conventions have writeups on him but sometimes they tend to be publicity writeups, [8] I was hoping Dallas Observer or other Texas papers might discuss him. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:13, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- I've heard that you could request an admin to retrive info from a deleted page. If that process is possible, how do I go about doing it? I'd like to use the info on Joel's deleted page as a draft, and then insert strong references and sources from there.--Sk8erPrince (talk) 15:15, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- I don't think there's anything to retrieve from that draft as it's probably one of those credits dump articles (no biography just a list). You might have better luck making a draft from scratch. See WP:DRAFTS on how to make one. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:36, 29 September 2016 (UTC)

- See talk:Trina Nishimura and notice how the local Texas non-anime papers are writing about her. If Joel has that coverage or more as with Kari Wahlgren, that improves his chances of having an article. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:19, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- Trina has 46 references, while Kari has 246. The latter is very, very acclaimed in the English VO industry. Although Joel is not nearly as notable as Kari, I could attempt to find some relevant sources for him to revive his page. --Sk8erPrince (talk) 15:15, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- Ah that's good she's acclaimed. That's one of my favorite articles I wrote for here. I had to organize her major roles and describe why she was important for each one, and added some criticism for some of them, some good some not-so-good. It could have been just another stub with an unreferenced list of credits. A recent one I did was Beau Billingslea, which would have been a one, maybe two-hit wonder with Cowboy Bebop and Black Heaven but has a pretty interesting background in television after doing more research into his live-action acting career. Andrew Love
I've noticed that you nominated Andrew's page for deletion, and it was deleted on the grounds of having no secondary news sources. However, if you search for his main roles on My Anime List, it comes out quite a lot (29 results - some of which are recurring). Additionally, Andrew has also won an award from BTVA. I have reason to believe that the award is what makes Andrew notable, given that Jamie Marchi's page lists her BTVA awards/nominations. Also, given Andrew's extensive list of roles (again, there's quite a lot of main roles), he passes WP:ENT. If we added the BTVA award in Andrew's page, his page wouldn't be just some "vanity list", nor will he be regarded as an "unremarkable actor" as some people claim him to be, right? --Sk8erPrince (talk) 16:54, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, he's in a lot of anime shows, but there's no biography to construct or write an article about. No news articles outside of the cast announcement and the primary source convention announcement and interview. So it would just be that vanity list. As for Behind The Voice Actors awards, it is a nice award that the voice actors do acknowledge, but doesn't carry weight in terms of notability. Any website could name any voice actor a best actor or character. The actors don't get a physical award, and there's no ceremony, not like the Annie Awards or Seiyu Awards where there's an actual event. Even YouTubers, when they get their million subscribers, have to wait for a physical award. It can be listed as positive reception though as with those Japanese seiyuus appearing in the top 10 for Animage or in some Shonen Jump poll. Oh, yeah BTVA participants love Jamie Marchi; I see her on top of many lists there. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:26, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
- I've seen people debate that a voice actor's notability is also based on the number of cons they have attended. So if we list all of the cons Andrew has attended, wouldn't that assert his notability? I understand your concern about biographies; if possible, I would love to write a more detailed bio if there's even a slim chance of restoring Andrew's page. I'm just, you know, looking into other ways that could assert his notability. I'm also aware that deleted pages require more detail and references in order for them to be restored, and it gets harder and harder with each nomination. Any other thoughts on the matter, or have we gone through all, if not most of the notability guidelines for possible page restoration? --Sk8erPrince (talk) 17:39, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
- It's not just the number. If they are attending cons all over the country as well as international cons, then that helps their notability. Non-anime industry sources such as newspapers start covering the actors as with Trina Nishimura and Jamie Marchi when they attend cons. The con profile is usually written by the person or by a staffer who might copy IMDb and Wikipedia so I'd be wary of their summary sometimes, especially if they use the exact same verbiage as with other cons. Details that arise from the convention itself might be of interest though. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:43, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
- Speaking of bios, this got me thinking - could I source video interviews/podcasts if I was to write a longer bio for Andrew's page? --Sk8erPrince (talk) 04:46, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
- Video interviews and podcasts are primary sources so that doesn't help the notability part, just the other parts like when they talk about how they got into the business and what their first part was, or what they liked about certain parts. It still needs something to pass notability. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 05:57, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
- Speaking of bios, this got me thinking - could I source video interviews/podcasts if I was to write a longer bio for Andrew's page? --Sk8erPrince (talk) 04:46, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
- True, but if I used the aforementioned sources to write a longer bio (since you've mentioned that there's currently little to no sources to write a long enough bio yet), AND list Andrew's most notable roles (WP:ENT), AND list the BTVA award, AS WELL AS list all the cons that Andrew has attended, then wouldn't that be a huge, significant improvement from the previous draft? It'll no longer be just a vanity page now, would it? I'd like your input, please. --Sk8erPrince (talk) 10:21, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
- You still need the secondary sources independent of the subject though. See WP:GNG Were you able to find any? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:37, 2 October 2016 (UTC)

- I'll perform an investigation when I have time. For now, I'll concentrate on the AFDs. --Sk8erPrince (talk) 15:00, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
- Is there a way you can find a voice actor that you like and has a page here but needs a decent biography that you'd be interested to fill in? Then you can get practice on writing bios and paragraphs so that the article will be more than that credits dump. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:43, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
- Of course, there should be plenty of VAs of the like that currently have stub articles. I watch dubs after all, and being an aspiring voice actor myself, I admire a lot of the VAs that do dubbing work. --Sk8erPrince (talk) 23:25, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
Making a proposal to existing policies
There is one existing policy that is really irking me - and that is unregistered users having the ability to edit unprotected articles. If some users can't be bothered to make their own account to edit, then they don't really have a place on this encyclopedia, I'm afraid. Of course, that's just my opinion, but I'd really like to take it up with the higher ups of this website about it (though I'm not sure how to go about doing that). Notice that many acts of vandalism and trolling are conducted by IP users. I'd like your input, please. --Sk8erPrince (talk) 13:32, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
- If the IPs vandalize an article, it can be escalated to be protected against the unregistered and IP users. Also if the IP user is consistently from the same range, that range can be blocked. There's WP:RFPP and WP:AIV. It's just on an article by article basis. That can be frustrating sometimes but it seems to work. The articles that get a lot of IP vandalism end up staying protected for much longer. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:33, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
- And I would add, as someone whose presence here you, Sk8erPrince, object to in a very uncivil manner, that unregistered users also make many positive edits here, including reverting vandalism and trolling. 86.17.222.157 (talk) 18:39, 3 October 2016 (UTC)

TWO worthless redirects
Hi Angus.
I see that you have suggested a possible speedy delete to the RfD deletion of a redirect I proposed this morning: Raptor (rocket stage). That's cool. I support it going away, by any wiki-process that works.
Now, a new topic, but one I thought of only after your speedy nom today. There is another bogus redir that should not exist: MCT (rocket engine). I was the creator of the redir in Oct 2012, based on a news source that later on turned out to be incorrect. MCT never was a rocket engine; it was (until recently; so for about four years) the name of a fairly complicated space transport system (actually under funded development; so not pure blue sky) for moving stuff to Mars. See, for example, the MCT disambig page. That name was used for about four years, but even the name of the transport system has now changed (in the past month).
But the key thing is it never was, and is not now, a rocket engine. That was, after the fact, an erroneous redir. I proposed it for deletion in Dec 2012; but the proposal failed. So I gave up. Would you consider proposing it for deletion, in whatever way you think best? Then, I could just support the deletion on the RfD page as that totally makes sense. Cheers. N2e (talk) 19:47, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- We'll have to see if CSD guys will honor that request. I think for the MCT one, based on the 2012 AFD discussion resulting in a keep, you can add
{{R from incorrect name}}
to that redirect, since I think they are just trying to find out what engine is actually used in MCT world. It doesn't need to be listed on the dab page though since it's an incorrect name and not a common typo. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:02, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for the response, Angus. I did not know about that
{{R from incorrect name}}
template; so I have added it, as you suggested. Better yet, I think, would be a total deletion of the mistakenly created redir. N2e (talk) 03:26, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for the response, Angus. I did not know about that
- You could try another RFD and see if opinion has changed? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:44, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
Lindsay Seidel
I'm surprised that you've nominated Lindsay's article for deletion considering that she's played quite a lot of main roles thus far.
ANN roles analysis:
1) Hermit (Dot Hack Quantum - main)
2) Nagisa Shiota (Assassination Classroom - main)
3) Hikari (Divine Gate - main)
4) Naru Arata (Eureka Seven AO - main)
5) Ein (Phantom - main)
6) Akiho Senomiya (Robotics Notes - main)
7) Sakura Hagiwara (Wanna be the Strongest in the World - main)
8) Ruko Kominato (Wixoss - main)
9) Kuniko Hojo (Shangrila - main)
10) Meme Tatane (Soul Eater Not - main)
That's 10 main roles, not even including main supporting roles/major villains. I do agree that the article could use some secondary sources and more news coverage, though. However, isn't that WP:ENT right there? --Sk8erPrince (talk) 07:35, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
- These aren't notable publications for English voice acting though. Eureka Seven AO and Soul Eater Not are maybes, but they weren't the main series that was run through on Cartoon Network. And only two anime conventions, both local, means she's a localized voice actress. She's probably borderline though. If you can write up a decent bio in draft then it could be reconsidered. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 13:26, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
- I'll work on that if I could find reliable sources that detail more of Lindsay's life, experiences or any relevant interviews I could dig up. Same goes for Andrew as well. --Sk8erPrince (talk) 15:12, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
- The hard part was finding those sources. She had an interview for that non-anime film, but none that addressed her voice acting career that wasn't already self-published or primary-sourced. Ones like what Trina Nishimura got from the local papers would help. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:45, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
- It should be worth noting that a lot of anime voice actors are actors first before they started to get into the world of voiceover as voice actors. Doesn't that interview detail anything regarding Lindsay's experience as an actor? --Sk8erPrince (talk) 20:19, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
- Almost all of them are actors first, but not all their acting is Wikipedia-notable, and very few of the Texas actors have notable parts in live-action productions. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 23:05, 9 October 2016 (UTC)

Cristina Vee Image
Hello! Vee has made a request on twitter for her image to be changed. You uploaded the latest image so I thought I would confer with you. I was thinking we should maybe use her most recent headshot instead? Nyantatata (talk) 20:16, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- Nyantatata, I haven't uploaded any images (they are all from Commons), but I can remove the Fanimecon 2016 one and have gone back to the other one that was her infobox picture for many years. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:39, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
- I can't use her headshot unless she has given permission for the image to be used on Wikipedia. Usually the professional pictures have a lot of restrictions, so the ones taken at conventions are more likely to be freely distributed to Commons for Wikipedia use. There are a lot of recent edits by editors on plot-specific stuff that doesn't help describe the character, namely how everyone dies in the series, since the series has ended. Please evaluate my draft for Lindsay Seidel
I am aware that the draft has yet to be expanded enough for republication. Regardless, I would like for you to evaluate it. Thanks. --Sk8erPrince (talk) 03:12, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
- I would not include the minor characters in the lead. The paragraph should highlight what she stars in, those where she clearly carries the series. Nagisa would be one of those. According to the characters list, she's a main character and the narrator in the anime. The ones from Divine Gate, Eureka Seven, it sounds like she's supporting there, so even by your standards, she wouldn't survive AFD on that one. I'd also expand Phantom to Requiem of the Phantom as there are multiple anime shows that go by Phantom. She appears to be a main character in that series, so again, emphasize that she has been getting lead roles in these series. Same with Robotics;Notes, Strongest in the World, Wixoss, Shangri-la. Add some background; is she based in Los Angeles, Dallas, or New York. And in the live-action series, she starred as Emily in the independent film The Final. The refs don't look right. I would just change them out to the standard referencing instead of all the span stuff. I would also work on a brief biography. Where did she grow up? What school did she go to? How did she get into voice acting? What was her first major voice role and first major acting role? You can use that interview she did for The Final. What awards has she won if any? Hope that helps. The biography can walk through her supporting roles that led to her starring in shows, and so forth, as with Brittney Karbowski. Hope that helps! - Thank you. I shall work on it. --Sk8erPrince (talk) 00:36, 20 November 2016 (UTC)

BTVA
Is the site Behind The Voice Actors considered reliable? It says it is an unofficial site, so I would think not. A lot of stuff on Yuri Lowenthal uses references for it. I'm having a issue with it regarding Jason Griffith. Any advice would be appreciated. --‖ Ebyabe talk - Border Town ‖ 08:04, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- Ebyabe, the only reliable portion is the part where they have green check-marks to screenshots of actual credits. Click on the credit and make sure it points to the closing credit shot. If it points to their resume or twitter/facebook announcement then it's a selfpub, which may be okay but not as good as a secondary source covering it or the primary credit. But no check mark means unreliable assumption so those entries cannot be used. Similarly if it's a side-by-side with no check marks, even if they have voice samples, they are no good to use. (Example: 1 (ParaNorman) (can use) 2 (Fullmetal Alchemist) (cannot use), Template: 1 Project discussion: 1) AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:44, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- The four entries for Jason Griffith are good. Notice all the Pokemon 1998 and One Piece 1999 ones don't have check marks so BTVA cannot be credited for that, but Shaktimaan Animated and the Thor video game looks correct. The Sonic ones, only one game has the green check-mark so that can be used, but the rest do not so they stay unreferenced. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:52, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks! Much appreciate the clarification. --‖ Ebyabe talk - State of the Union ‖ 18:18, 27 November 2016 (UTC)

Winx voices
Hi Anguswoof, WTF why are u saying that Kiko need source for Haven Paschall? Here is the proof that I saying on the the script bellow! When I edit it Kiko for Paschall!Haven Paschall EGP interview! I play Bloom and her rabbit Kiko!. For u proof question! Who saying that Manuel is Stella? I don´t see a tweet or resume where she saying I am also Stella! Find a resume or other proof where she saying I am Stella! Darcy is similar to her voice not Stella! Adams mention it Stella under Winx Fox Cartoon! So what is the problem! U need a source for Manuel not me for Paschall! Find a tweet or post or resume or more!!--Maxie1hoi (talk) 21:10, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
- Hey, you even had Greg Abbey to tweet that Caren Manuel voiced Stella [9]. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:35, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
- On the Paschall interview where on the interview is where she says I play Kiko. I looked at 36m where she starts talking about Winx Club and she says she plays Bloom and an "assortment of characters" in season 7 and World of Winx. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:50, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

- on Egp interview 33:22 she saying "Now I also do voice overs for Winx Club I voice Bloom and Kiko her rabbot!" Check the proff before u saying there is no proof! I don't believe Abbeys tweet that Manuel is Stella!--Maxie1hoi (talk) 20:12, 29 November 2016 (UTC)

BTW I don't believe Abbeys tweet about Manuel=Stella!--Maxie1hoi (talk) 20:14, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
Well there's two sources that affirm Manuel=Stella both are by secondary sources that seem to know Caren Manuel better than we do (the biogrpahy profile for her show event and Greg Abbey's direct tweet to YOUR tweet about who voices stella), whereas Lisa Adams only self-publishes on her resume, and Lisa Adams is not credited at all in the closing credits for 4Kids dubs. Caren Manuel is instead. So I don't see where you would believe Adams is the primary voice for Stella. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:20, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
Well okay! Lisa Adams saying that she was Stella in 3 episodes as a replacer but Why she don't saying on her resume I am Stella for 3 episodes! Plus the numbers! And rrply pls on Paschall talk page!--Maxie1hoi (talk) 20:30, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
Why are you recycling the same argument? The only new information since that discussion last time is Greg Abbey's tweet, and it was a response to a tweet that you posted. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:34, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
I mean when she saying she is Stella on Fox Winx! Why she don't mention it that she was her for 3 episodes? And why her voice is the same as Manuel Stella? And why Manuel don't saying Stella? And why u add "others" on winx 7 for Burton? Burton did other characters in World of winx! And Bloom, Kiko in Winx7! That is what she saying!--Maxie1hoi (talk) 18:36, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
- If you want to argue who voices Stella on 4Kids again, we can discuss it on the Winx Club or Winx Club characters talk page. But if it is not conclusive, then it's likely going to be removed. Only Caren Manuel is listed in the 4Kids credits. I do not see Lisa Adams listed anywhere. I don't see an interview where she is the replacer for Stella. I don't see a quote where she says that she voiced for 3 episodes. As for Haven's interview: 32:10 "Now I also do voice-overs for Winx Club. I voice Bloom and I also voice Kiko, her rabbit sidekick." 36:00 "You know right now it's just Winx, and the spinoff of Winx which is World of Winx, which I also play Bloom and a couple of other fun little characters episode to episode, but that should be hitting Netflix soon." No point in submitting a draft that's just gonna be speedy deleted or deleted in an AFD, right? --Sk8erPrince (talk) 23:33, 8 December 2016 (UTC)
Would you mind taking a look at this?
AngusWOOF, can you please take a look at User talk:Homechallenge55#Sonic and Pokémon credits, Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Anime and manga#Sonic and Pokémon credits and Talk:Dan Green#Sonic the Hedgehog credits? There seems to be an issue with unsourced credits regarding Sonic and Pokémon as well as User:Bigshowandkane64. Thanks, Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 03:42, 9 December 2016 (UTC)
- If they're being edited by a sock evader you should be able to revert per WP:NOT3RR #3 "Reverting actions performed by banned users in violation of their ban, and sockpuppets of banned or blocked users." Also you can cite #7: "Removing violations of the biographies of living persons (BLP) policy that contain libelous, biased, unsourced, or poorly sourced contentious material. " I'm assuming it's contentious to keep them around, but if it has a decent chance of being sourced, you can tag it with citation needed and such. I agree about page protection schemes too if it is happening regularly from multiple IPs. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:53, 9 December 2016 (UTC)
Violetta English voice cast
This is pretty old, but why did you remove the season 2 and 3 info? Some voice actors are different there. nyuszika7h (talk) 13:11, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
- Can you show me which episodes the voice actors list was different? I've spot checked some season 2 episodes and the credits were the same. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:37, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
- It seems the credits for season 2 are incorrectly listed. The voices for season 3 were also used for season 2, but unfortunately there's no source we can use for this unless Netflix fixes their credits. It may be because they added the first two seasons together and the third season was only added later, though my friend says the credits are also wrong in Latin America. nyuszika7h (talk) 20:17, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
- Are the credits for season 3 correct? We could add those if Netflix has them and they are different voices. There just won't be a way to confirm season 2 voices, at least not with Netflix. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:21, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
- I saw a few voice changes for season 3 episode 1 credits so I put those in. I'm not attributing them specifically to season 3 so the result is that you'll see two actors listed in the English voice cast on some parts. I think that'll be fine for the article. Liza Kaplan Montanino
Hi Anguswoof, Can u also write a biography for Liza Kaplan Montanino? On draft! From nowcasting and her linkedin profile and twitter profile! Why she is stopped with voice acting after 6 years??--Maxie1hoi (talk) 19:33, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
- I don't think I can do it just on her single role in Winx Club. Are there other shows in which she starred in? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 23:32, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
Do don't know? Ok.. here are her other roles:
- Renet in TMNT (2003 series)
- Caitlyn in Magical Doremi
- Kahm in Outlanders OVA (Central Park Media choose her to voice Kahm from a fancasting poll! And others! But her last voice acting role was Raf in Angels Friends! In the year 2009! After that year no voice acting role anymore! She is married with Justin Montanino! Make also of that a bio part!!--Maxie1hoi (talk) 16:44, 8 December 2016 (UTC)
- Do you have some news articles that focus on her? Renet's a minor character. The others look like main characters but it really needs more secondary sourcing. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:07, 9 December 2016 (UTC)
- If u want more news articels or interviews! Type on google "Liza Kaplan Philomel Books" they show more info about her then when u type "Liza Kaplan Winx Club"! But can u find a source that show both of her fox work and philomel books work? See also her tweets! @Lizajkaplan--Maxie1hoi (talk) 21:42, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

answer pls! And making also a bio for her Winx role! But why she stopped with voice acting? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maxie1hoi (talk • contribs) 21:17, 11 December 2016 (UTC (UTC)
- There's a draft page for her at Draft:Liza Kaplan Montanino. You can use similar verbiage for her Outlanders role as was done in Rebecca Soler's article. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:20, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
Duh! I have made that draft page! But my question was can u also help me with this articel! And why she is stopping with voice acting?--Maxie1hoi (talk) 15:32, 12 December 2016 (UTC)
- You can ask her if you want, seeing that she's active on Twitter. I still don't see much that I can improve upon. I don't have enough secondary sources that would make it survive an AFD. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:32, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
See draft is this not beter? If u see spelling mistakes or see it can beter please make better! And why she is stopped with voice acting and don´t post on her twitter? She only talks about Philomel books! Not about winx and cpm!--Maxie1hoi (talk) 20:22, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
Dani Schaffel
Hi, Are u sure that the "Dani Schaffel" who is Marla's sister is the same person who was Tecna on Winx Club1-2?! And Marla, Dani active on social media?! Dani still live and what is now her job?! And why she only do Tecna and Casey on tmnt 2003?!--Maxie1hoi (talk) 16:46, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
- Marla has a sister named Dani, and they're both active in Broadway theatre in New York. See [12] Whether she's the same person who did Winx Club voices is not confirmed. It's likely given the background, but as it stands, Dani doesn't have a Wikipedia article anyway so it wouldn't matter. I don't see a social media presence for either. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:32, 14 December 2016 (UTC)

other winx voices (FOX tv)
Hi Anguswoof, When u saying that Manuel is Stella! Are she is also Chatta (Flora pixie)? Because Stella's sound is close similair to Chatta if u good listen to the voices! And who is Mirta? Some pages saying it was Amy Palant! True?! And Kerry Williams is still active as voice over? And have social media?--Maxie1hoi (talk) 20:27, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
- I can't say anything about Caren Manuel's other parts as they are not sourced to any credits, but only the ones that have been identified in reliable sources. It doesn't matter about the voice matches. If the Pixies are voiced by their Winx member, then maybe you can associate that. What are "some pages"? Can you post links to them? If they are forum discussions without any authority, it can't be used anyways. As for Kerry Williams, I have no idea. There are a bunch of people named Kerry Williams on Twitter. Discussion at Talk:List of Brave Witches episodes#Lead paragraph
You are invited to join the discussion at Talk:List of Brave Witches episodes#Lead paragraph. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 23:23, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
Also, I think we're still having some wording issues in the episode summaries section regarding sentence structures and I've proposed a suggestion for the lead at Talk:List of Brave Witches episodes#Proposal. What are your thoughts on the matter? Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 21:43, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
- The episode summaries seem to be okay for their size. I've done shows that aren't as elaborate on plot so they tend to be just a handful of lines, as with Locodol and Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, which are half-hour slice-of-life comedy shows. As for manga, I usually devote about a line per chapter as with List of Akame ga Kill! chapters. The broadcast dates need to be updated to actual dates. November 2 at 25:30 should be November 3. The lead sentence really depends on the content. If you have enough to talk about it in two paragraphs, go for it. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 03:12, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- Gotcha. We can discuss ideas and suggestions on the talk page as well if you are interested. In the meantime, I've asked around at WT:TV, WT:TVE and WT:ANIME to see what can be done to help get a consensus on the summary situation. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 03:22, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- It depends on the content. Sometimes it takes a long sentence with semi-colons to explain stuff, and other times it's just a few words. But it doesn't need to be literature in explaining what is going on as that tends to cruft it up with peacock or personally interpreted terms. I guess I should try to watch the series and see what I would write up. Anime of this kind isn't terribly deep that it needs an elaborate summary. It's always easier to start detailed and then cut down. I did some of that on Majestic Prince, but then when the last few episodes were the opposite case (2-3 lines), I didn't find much content to bother to fluff it up. I tried paring down summaries at Miraculous Ladybug though and got a lot of resistance on the Origins episodes by an editor who wanted to make that fully detailed. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 04:07, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- I know, man. The plot may still be unclear to readers who are not familiar with topics like anime in general and I've personally had some problems with episode summaries myself in other articles. Over-elaboration of summaries of TV episodes, in general, can be a little frustrating for some editors like myself, and the discussion page is the best way to go for suggestions per WP:BRD rather than get involved in repeatedly reverting and leading into an edit war. Section break
@AngusWOOF: Happy holidays. Continuing from our previous discussion, I think it's time to discuss a redraft of the summaries and the lead on the list's talk page now that the series is over. Since this is a pretty straightforward story after all, I think we need to cut down on the over-elaboration. Thoughts? Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 19:48, 28 December 2016 (UTC)

- Some of it might work, especially when he compares the reference to actual video footage of Rooster Teeth staff like the Achieve Men poster or "He's my uncle" in the Easter Eggs video [16] But I would hesitate or dismiss on any place he just makes his own original research or connection to the topic as with how he describes Blake = Beauty and the Beast = Adam. It would be better if someone from Rooster Teeth staff provided the information for the proper reference. Stuff like "weiss schnee" is "white snow" in German or Glynda Goodwitch is Glinda the Good Witch would be fine as that is WP:BLUE and can also be covered by other reviews. Yuri Lowenthal
Clearly engaging the user here isn't going to work given their obvious disagreement with every stage of the attempt to clean up the list. They just aren't interested in getting the point. Is there enough of a consensus here or another example to try and end the matter? It seems odd to argue that sources aren't enough to list a role on an actor page but clearly he is too prolific to mention everything just because we can. Is there a solution here or just take it as it comes?SephyTheThird (talk) 16:44, 31 December 2016 (UTC)
- He doesn't like that "needs notability" in the embedded notes and wanted to change that to "needs source", which is untrue. But when I reverted that, that's when he went off again about how I'm imposing my own rules on what credits are listed. The reason the minor credits such as "additional voices" was commented out and tagged for "needs notability": they were non-notable and if they were added, would garner scrutiny from the outside WP:ANIME who wanted the entire list dumped for listcruft and the reason that filmographies don't have to list everything. So I've been trying to compromise and gather consensus. I've tried leaving the credit in embedded notes so that people can find those sources. I've tried showing how a guest role or a seemingly non-notable production can be considered important to be included as recently with Red vs. Blue and Camp Camp. He doesn't like that stance, but I think that's the most reasonable for these prolific VAs.
- As for whether the list is scrubbed, yes, I'm done scrubbing it. I think what's left there is pretty good. I was hoping editors could focus on writing up more biography sections to highlight their importance and then naturally those minor roles will not be picked on. Regarding Brave Witches, again
Hello again, AngusWOOF. While I have been quite busy with other things on Wikipedia, I would like to help go over the situation on how to get the Brave Witches episode list up to at least FL status in addition to getting the episode summaries completely rewritten since it may be unclear to unfamiliar readers as we discussed above. I think we should also ask fellow editors from WP:ANIME to help work on this article, as I've been trying to do so far. As you said, watching the series can help editors write up summaries. Like I said, we should gets some ideas here before we should take this to the talk page for an FL push. Any thoughts or objections? Advice and Tutoring
Hello, AngusWOOF. I just need some help on how to made references on Wikipedia. Because you see, I am not very good at it, and I want to be able to change the References list of the Ever After High article. I think I can be a big help to this website media, and know my way around editing, but I do not have a special computer for it. Can you please help me? — Preceding unsigned comment added by No One's Stopping Me Now! - 03 (talk • contribs) 12:49, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
- Given that these pages are heavily vandalized, I suggest for your sake that you work on referencing over at the Ever After High and Monster High wikia pages. Basically every statement that describes a character should be referenced to something, whether it be an webisode, the character profile on the official website, the doll's product description, or a news article about the character. If you need examples, you can see the existing article which has lots of references for the characters. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 13:14, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
Gabby
Hi Angus, per usual, I think you're a great contributor. I wonder though if maybe you'd consider not entertaining Comito's posts like here on the basis of WP:DNFTT? This user has contributed virtually nothing of substance in years (if ever) and I don't want to encourage her to skirt our policies by seeking refuge/companionship/participation on talk pages. I think it's fairly safe to assume that most people who post to that article could be a Comito sock, and if they're using a New Jersey IP, they're almost definitely a Comito sock and we shouldn't be "Gabbing" with them. (See what I did there?) Anyhow, a thought. If she posts, you are at liberty to revert on sight per WP:REVERTBAN. Thanks, mate. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 01:31, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
- Sounds good. I think I gave her enough "advice" as above. That should be the last of it. I'll depend on you all for the real corrections. :) AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 01:36, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
Don't you think, if you're going to change the selection criteria, you should discuss it first?
Why should fleeting mentions be excluded? How fleeting does a mention have to be before it is included? And how are you defining "contemporary"? When, by your criteria, does a work cease to be contemporary? And how are Terminators alternate history? Serendipodous 05:40, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
Sure, let's discuss List of stories set in a future now past. This is what the intro was on the page when I got to it:
This is a list of stories that, when written, were set in the future, but the future they predicted has now passed. Stories on this list are distinct from alternate histories, which were composed after the dates they depict. Futuristic works set in the same year the material is produced are excluded.
And this is what I changed it to: This is a list of fictional stories that, when written, were set in the future, but the future they predicted has now passed. The list excludes works that were alternate histories, which were composed after the dates they depict. The list also excludes contemporary or near future works (e.g. set within a year or two), unless it deals with some notable futuristic event as with the 2012 phenomenon. It also excludes works where the future is passively mentioned as in an epilogue, or a main story's setting has not occurred despite some of the events already passing (e.g. In the Buck Rogers TV series released in 1978, Rogers was launched into space in 1987 (occurred), but the bulk of his story takes place in the 25th century (not occurred))
Contemporary = generally set in the same period as the broadcast. LIke they have a Christmas episode but broadcast it in November or early December. Or show a new year's episode in 2006 when the show's broadcast is 2005-2006. Or they show a Valentine's Day episode early or a school graduation. That isn't future or trying to predict the future. It's supposed to be present time in whatever it is. Otherwise you have a ton of shows that could be immediate future depending on broadcast. It's still contemporary. Unless it's making a big deal about the future as with 2012 or changing from year 1999 to year 2000.
I'm also trying to exclude epilogues that obviously take place in the future, but don't really make a statement about the future society but just the state of the characters. As for fleeting mentions, it's to cut down on the works where it's ongoing, like the bulk of the story is set in 2019, but there was supposedly an event in 2014 that didn't happen, or one in 2016 that didn't happen. Unless you want to keep track of every tidbit like that.
Hope that makes sense. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 06:45, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
- I restored Buck Rogers, Quantum Leap, the Terminator films, and some of the near future entries like Lifeforce and Fringe. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 08:15, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
Summaries for Brave Witches?
Hello again. I know we've talked about the situation with the episode summaries for List of Brave Witches episodes, but would it be possible if we can still revamp on the summaries when you have the chance? Thanks, Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 23:58, 16 January 2017 (UTC)

Per the discussion at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Albums/Archive_46#Piero_Scaruffi_-_Final_Verdict_on_using_him_as_a_source_in_reviews there's a very clear consensus here that Scaruffi is not to be used as a source in articles in any capacity. So please, do not add his opinions anymore. It is a wp:self published source. Since this is a long running dispute, any contributor warned by the situation and who doesn't respect it, would encounter sanctions and could be blocked from editing. Thanks. You've been informed because you used this source [ https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Infinite_Jest&type=revision&diff=760579118&oldid=757597038here]. Woovee (talk) 20:05, 21 January 2017 (UTC)
- Woovee, I strongly suggest you get his website put on the Wikipedia:Spam blacklist if you don't want it to be used in any references. That works for Examiner.com and is a much cleaner solution than trying to run around catching instances where anyone could put on there. There's no place I can connect the Infinite Jest book to a conclusion coming from a WikiProject albums MOS. Also please WP:AGF and WP:DTR with sanction stuff; it's rather insulting. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:15, 21 January 2017 (UTC)
- I've put a request on the black list. Please add your supporting evidence there. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:35, 21 January 2017 (UTC)
- Sorry if it was too direct, I didn't mean to be disrespectful. This is a message that had been sent for all the users who weren't aware of these long discussions about the blogger. All the discussions we had, all ended in a consensus of no link allowed for his website in any capacity. I am not aware of the spam list and I don't know how it works. If your demand is accepted, that would be very a huge gain of time for everyone. Thanks for asking it. Woovee (talk) 02:04, 22 January 2017 (UTC)
- If the editors that consensed on the sourcing could chime in on that request, that would help. At it stands, it might not be added since there's a single person that objects because it was based solely on WP Albums. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 09:35, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
Anime biographies
Hello. While I'm trying my best to help improve and reformat some biographies on anime voice actors, I'm also thinking about helping to expand recent citations in different articles like Scott Freeman (voice actor), Erik Scott Kimerer, etc. as well as reformatting some citation templates with cite web templates where appropriate like ANN (and adding authors and dates where necessary), reformatting citation templates, italicizing work titles and adding different sources for roles in the filmography sections. Can you help out? Thanks, Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 02:58, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

Kyoko Okazaki Bibliography
Hi AngusWOOF,
I saw that you added a cleanup-list on the Kyoko Okazaki page. I cleaned that page up today (fixing broken links etc) but am unsure as to how you would like me to clean up the bibliography section.
Let me know what you had in mind about cleaning it up.
Thanks!

- Asakawano, can you arrange and format them like Miho Obana's page. The romanizations and English titles don't need to be in a separate column as the Japanese title. Any titles that have an English article can be just the English title like Honey Bitter. Also it would be good to know how many volumes for some works. The references to MADB, her bibliography and websites can go in the corner by Refs column, unless they pertain to specific titles. Thanks again for fixing up her article!
