[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Toadspike [Talk] 15:24, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Specifically, you seem to have moved JioStar/Disney Star several times within two hours. Please don't do this. If you want to move the article, open a move discussion on the article talk page (Talk:JioStar) Toadspike [Talk] 15:27, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Disney Star. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Ravensfire (talk) 05:27, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
Civility
[edit]Even after your disruption and being warned not to do it, you now want to call editors dumb (actually "dum" as you misspelled it). CNMall41 (talk) 04:06, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
Do not edit other editor's comments or votes
[edit]At Talk:Disney Star you changed a number of editors comments from Oppose votes to Support or vice versa. This is not permitted on Wikipedia. Please do not do this again or you may be blocked from editing. Sam Walton (talk) 14:53, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry. I was also confused. I thought it was a glitch and it will not actually edit the comments. Sorry once again. AngadSingh2004 (talk) 16:17, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
- Not a glitch and you were NOT confused. You did it twice. --CNMall41 (talk) 18:08, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
- I did it myself. But I thought it will not actually edit someone's else comment or sometime like that. AngadSingh2004 (talk) 18:25, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
- You must have got confused when you moved the page right after the close where it was determined that the page should NOT be moved. Is that correct? Hoping for insight prior to reporting your editing behavior. --CNMall41 (talk) 07:23, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- No. That I moved myself. AngadSingh2004 (talk) 07:23, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- You moved that yourself and yet you wrote "Perform requested move, see talk page" what discussion had been agreed upon by consensus that allowed you to move the article? – robertsky (talk) 09:28, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- The discussion was useless, no body agreed with the real proofs I have provided and the people opposing didn't give any concrete region, not did they look up about the company or website themselves. AngadSingh2004 (talk) 09:54, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- News flash: they do not have to do so. The unanimous consensus -- other than your own vote -- ran against a page move. The people opposing DID give concrete reasons; you just didn't like them. The nature of a consensus-driven environment such as Wikipedia is that sometimes you're on the losing side of an argument, in which case your only option is to lose gracefully and move on. If you are unable to do that, you're a poor fit for Wikipedia. Ravenswing 15:20, 4 December 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:
I did wrong by moving pages without the concesus but it was not to harm Wikipedia. And my edits in general are good, they generally add information or improve on it. AngadSingh2004 (talk) 08:11, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You don't seem to be interested in any other topics. You may not have been out to harm Wikipedia, but your edits and moves were disruptive. As you don't seem to see how, I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:13, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Please place new posts at the bottom, so they stay in order. 331dot (talk) 11:42, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
Hi there! In your own words, can you describe what was wrong with your edits? Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 17:57, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- I did some page moves with concesus and even after the concesus of 'not moving' I still moved it, which I agree was totally wrong. AngadSingh2004 (talk) 23:44, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- @AngadSingh2004: 2 things,
- You need to say what will you do if you encounter similar circumstances in future.
- Don't add a new request, when there's already an unanswered one.
- Vestrian24Bio (TALK) 16:16, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
- Ok. Thanks for the suggestion. AngadSingh2004 (talk) 16:13, 15 December 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:
I do understand my edits (page moves) distructuve. What I need to convince that I will be responsible form now on? At least set an expiry on the block.
Accept reason:
I have modified your block to a partial block on page moves in addition to you have agreed to a topic ban from editing Disney Star and related articles (including the JioStar/Jio Star pages). This is appealable after 6 months. PhilKnight (talk) 04:26, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
- Would a partial block on moving pages instead of a site wide block interest you? PhilKnight (talk) 16:04, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- (talk page watcher) (Note: I was the one who originally brought this to ANI) If an unblock is on the table I'd suggest a topic ban from editing Disney Star and related articles (including the JioStar/Jio Star pages which are currently redirects), which was the topic where this editor's disruptive editing & moves took place. I believe that was one of the options brought up by others at ANI, so I think it'd be the most logical step down from an indef site block. RachelTensions (talk) 16:20, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- Very much. I will be grateful to it. I will assure you that I have learnt my mistake. I would love to be unblocked full but I do understand it's important to observe me first. So I will be grateful if you will participate unblock me. With that if possible please set a expiry on the remaining block. AngadSingh2004 (talk) 16:12, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- So following RachelTensions's comment, I am thinking of a partial block on page moves in addition to a topic ban from editing Disney Star and related articles (including the JioStar/Jio Star pages). This would appealable after 6 months, so it wouldn't necessarily be permanent. Would this interest you? Ping TomStar81 for input. PhilKnight (talk) 18:47, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- Yes. That would be great. Here I will also be able to prove that I realised my mistake and so my efforts towards building a encyclopedia. AngadSingh2004 (talk) 19:05, 16 December 2024 (UTC)

- Thank You. I will make sure that I don't break any rules again. AngadSingh2004 (talk) 07:18, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
- @PhilKnight: - They have violated their topic ban today [1].- Ratnahastin (talk) 14:38, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
- Since you broke your topic ban, I have reimposed the site wide block. PhilKnight (talk) 16:22, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
- But you said I was ban so I thought I will not be able to make edit at all. AngadSingh2004 (talk) 13:45, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
- Noting that every edit this user has made has been to Disney, Viacom and Hotstar all of which own stake in one company now and given the aggressive POV pushing to rename the article, I'm starting to think that there may be an undisclosed COI here. - Ratnahastin (talk) 02:33, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
