Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Manhattan (film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Anne Byrne (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article David Grieco has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. -- HindWikiConnect 02:42, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, AleCapHollywood. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Valerio Ruggeri, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Translating Adriano Ossicini from Italian Wikipedia

[edit]

Hi and thanks for creating Adriano Ossicini. However, please note that when you translate an article from another Wikipedia edition as you did with Adriano Ossicini, you must provide attribution to the source. Please read and follow the instructions given at Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate and WP:CWW. A lot of the article is also a direct Google machine translation which should be avoided. Bennv3771 (talk) 13:42, 30 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You must provide attribution to the source when translating articles

[edit]

As I've brought up above, it is a copyright requirement that you provide attribution when translating an article (or part of an article) from Italian Wikipedia to English Wikipedia. Please follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. In this case, I'm refering to The Invisible Boy - Second Generation, where the plot is an almost direct google machine translation of it:Il ragazzo invisibile - Seconda generazione. Repeated copyright violations can get you blocked from editing, so please take note of this issue. Bennv3771 (talk) 12:41, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Christian De Sica Filmography

[edit]

While entering into a personal database information about a my DVD collection, I was unable to access additional information about "MEN MEN MEN."

In the filmography for actor/director Christian De Sica one finds (1995) Uomini uomini uomini which is not WIKI-linked to any additional information. Translated Uomini uomini uomini is Men Men Men.

Wikipedia rules expressly bar DVD covers from being submitted. But for those citations possessing links often an image of the film's movie poster or other relevant image is displayed.

I created a PDF copy of the DVD cover, but am unable to share it as per Wikipedia rules. I cannot certify that its copyright is mine. I'm in my 70s tasking myself with downsizing. In furtherance of that goal I wish to digitize as much as is possible inventories of such possessions I own. The DVD/Blue Ray disk ROM is the only physical attribute to remain in my possession.

The intention of archivists, even amateurs such as myself is to share knowledge. I'd gladly share this small tidbit. Cineaste Wildwechsel (talk) 03:29, 9 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Template

[edit]

Ciao, ho annullato la modifica al template ProvincialMayors perché Ancona, Catanzaro, Potenza ecc. sono sia capoluoghi della regione sia della provincia. So che "prendi male" annullamenti e correzioni, quindi ci tenevo a dirtelo. Possiamo eventualmente valutare di unire i due template, per rendere il tutto meno dispersivo.--Alienautic (talk) 21:39, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

List of mayors

[edit]

Ciao, you have to add references if you want to update the mayors. You can't just remove notes.--Alienautic (talk) 19:35, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
