Welcome!
[edit]Hello, AleXYZ-510, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.
If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome! SounderBruce 07:09, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- For census citations in particular, please make sure to place them in the
population_footnotes
part of the infobox; the estimates should be blanked, but the parameters retained so that they can easily be updated. SounderBruce 07:11, 13 March 2024 (UTC)- Also, how do I edit the infobox without removing a bunch of stuff? AleXYZ-510 (talk) 21:18, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry about these mistakes. I'm new here at editing. Is it that I have to use better sources for these populations? AleXYZ-510 (talk) 21:07, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- The Census Bureau source is fine, and your edit to Clyde Hill was much better. I've made some tweaks in this edit that you should follow as you update other articles, namely using repeat citations and the proper date. The work is much appreciated, there is such a large backlog nationally. SounderBruce 22:31, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you! Let me know if I make more mistakes. I hope to be a helpful contributor here. AleXYZ-510 (talk) 22:34, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- Just another note: citations should be placed after punctuation, rather than before. I have also modified some of the citations added to Washington CDPs to be more clear. SounderBruce 23:03, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- Ok thx! I'm still new and figuring out how to use the citations AleXYZ-510 (talk) 00:02, 8 May 2024 (UTC)

Alex. On the Bacliff TX entry, there is no mention of Bayclif being the home of the Bandidos motorcycle gang. Also, it was a thriving village with 4th of July parades and lots of community activities before Hurricane Carla hit. It never recovered. I'm not up to editing these pages but maybe you or someone you know could. 98.19.215.100 (talk) 15:16, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
- If there's sources about it, maybe. AleXYZ-510 (talk) 15:18, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
