Conflict of interest editing
[edit]Hello, 62.232.203.120. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Odeon Cinemas, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 14:06, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
- Since someone editing from this IP address has declared that they are employed by Odeon Cinemas in this post made at User talk:Oshwah#ODEON updates, it is strongly advised that this account refrain from directly editing the article any further and instead use the article's talk page to discuss any concerns they may have. The subject of the article does not have any ownership rights of its content and all edits are required to be in accordance with Wikipedia's various policies and guidelines. Genuine concerns can be expressed on the article's talk page and requests for assistance can be made as explained in WP:COIADVICE and Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. Wikipedia is not a place for promotion and continuing to add/remove content in order to try and portray the company in a certain way is eventually going to lead to an administrator being asked to take a look at the situation, which in turn may lead to this IP address being blocked from further editing. -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:39, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
Material you added was copied directly from another website, and thus was a copyright violation. Please don't add copyright material to this wiki. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 02:05, 24 February 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Matt Rhead. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 22:47, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
