Where do these come from? I had a look at the websites referenced, & they disagree with each other: for his birth one states 5 April 501, another 25 April 505, the third "c. 496", & the last Miazia 5, 525 (which I calculate is 13 April); for the date of his death the first & third omit this, the second has 5 May 571, & the last Gunboat (May) 11, 571. Considering that we have no firm dates for the reigns of the contemporary kings of Axum, I am skeptical that these dates are accurate -- although it is clear that someone (I don't mean the Wikipedia editor here, but one or more scholars) does. -- llywrch (talk) 19:46, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the musical instruments[[1]], as there is no source that supports the claim that Yared created the the instruments such as the Begena, Kebero, Masenqo etc. Dawit S Gondaria (talk) 02:31, 29 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
