[edit]The "Austin, Texas" version of the Westwood High School page has replaced the "Williamson County, Austin" version. There is a new discussion page as well—the page you're viewing. The old discussion page can be found at Talk:Westwood High School (Williamson County, Texas). Nargaque (talk) 19:33, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
Encyclopedias are supposed to be written in a certain style. It isn't the same style you would use to write a high school essay, or a style you would use for sports reporting in a high school newspaper. Wikipedia has guidelines as to what can and can't be in a high school article. The title of this section is a link to them. in addition, this page had a ton of promotional type language. This article does not belong to the school it is written about; it is not to promote the school it is written about, and it needs to be verifiable and source to reliable sources. if you are going to edit this article, please read the guidelines and the links I've put in here. A guide to what kind of style not to use in writing will be found at WP:PUFFERY and WP:PEACOCK. Thanks.
Also, be aware that when content is removed from an article, you do not just put it back. You come to this page and reach a consensus as to what should be there. The guidelines linked above represent consensus already reached on what kind of content high school articles should have. If you want to promote the school, possibly the school's IT director will let you write content for the school's webpage. It does not belong here. Gtwfan52 (talk) 06:17, 21 August 2013 (UTC)
