[edit]This is highly controversial. There is no evidence for a Central Asian origin of the Sumerians. Furthermore Serugh is not mentioned in Sumerian texts —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.118.103.241 (talk) 10:25, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
I'm afraid that the article has some mistakes. The abbasids originated in the VIII century and in 639 the city was surrended to the umayyads and not to the unexistent abbasids. The arabs recovered it in january 1145 according Enciclppaedya of Islam (insteda 1127 as say article). --88.16.136.91 (talk) 10:06, 24 July 2011 (UTC)
