Wondering how the most important element of Snake Worship does not appear in this article. South Indian state of Kerala is the hub of Snake worship in its entirety. Kerala has the most primitive snake worship system. It is true that throughout India remnants of snake worship exist, but when it is compared to Kerala State with other parts of India, it is exponentially large and Kerala nullifies importance of other places. The major community of Kerala i.e. NAIR is traditionally Naga worshippers. The community name NAIR is evolved out of the word Naakar which means Naga Worshipper. In all other parts of the world Serpent Cult has disintegrated but in Kerala it is still continuing in its primitive form.
