some more facts
[edit]- the shop was owned by Ms. Bonner (e.g. even some registration paper with her signature was proudly used for the background design of one of the company's web pages; it might have been the case that her last name was a bit different there from her last name used for modelling, it might have been a name sounding like of eastern Europe origin - sorry, i feel unable to recall that for the moment)
- the execution of the post production was performed by a team that was including Ms. Bonner (spending excessive work hours many weeks in a row)
- the production turned out to be noticeably more expensive than the initial budget (e.g. funding from Ms. Bonner's savings from her model career)
- even after extra external funding and more personal investment it was hard completing the title at all
- when money went to a final low the whole idea and game and everything was offered to and finally bought up by Eidos (please counter check this), seemingly making the original owners vanishing from the public in this context
- Ms. Bonner was taking part in the early marketing of the game by e.g. blogging on current steps and progress from the development ("today I went off very tired whilst suddenly realizing I spent the whole day making myself as a game character die in a pond of blood.", "today was my birthday and I got a surprise party from the team")
- there was the marketing promise / idea that when a certain amount of game box units were sold (100,000?) then the owner of the box that made this happen will win a dinner with the star. there is no indication if that amount was ever sold or if those promise was ever realized with anyone.
- the company had its own logo.
- the games authoring was done using Mac computers (please check this for facts once more, thanks)
- the game is partially based on real world film footage of the actors; some of this was once presented as making-of, teaser and behind-the-scenes mini clips via the internet; maybe a single of the many clips would apply for an elevated rating due to a quite short, playful exposure of upper body parts.
