Notability
[edit]Rakesh Jhaveri is founder[1] of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission and heads a organization with 1000's of followers. He travels around the world[2] to spread the message of Spirituality. I think he is notable enough to have a page of his own. Please let me know if you think otherwiseTarakdadia (talk) 07:46, 17 May 2014 (UTC)tarakdadia
Please note that there now exists Times of India article to support more content for this. There are no exaggerations nor subjective details included in this writeup now, so kindly remove dispute.

There was a delete notification for this page. I believe this page should not be deleted. I believe the author who suggested the deletion might have searched for "Rakesh Jhaveri". Kindly do a search on "Rakeshbhai" instead (Bhai is a suffix used commonly for Indian men) to see why. I will get the page modified with more content and references in a few days.

- If you can find sources that establish the subject's WP:N, that is fine with me. Note that what you should look for are: secondary reliable sources that are independent of the subject and cover him in some detail. See WP:BIO for details. Abecedare (talk) 16:33, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

NPOV
[edit]I've restored the POV tag on this article. The reasons are that currently the article has key content based of primary sources such as the website of the organisation and the article contains WP:PEACOCK words which introduce bias to the article for example: "Till date, 74 aspirants have embraced the blessed Atmarpit way of life". Editors should try to state facts and back these up with secondary independent reliable sources as per: WP:RS. Wikipedia is not a place for advertising a particular organisation as well, it is an encyclopaedia. Cowlibob (talk) 11:10, 16 August 2014 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Rakesh Jhaveri. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20140409122351/http://procamrunning.in/scmm/charity/charity-awards/ to http://procamrunning.in/scmm/charity/charity-awards/
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Recent updates 2018
[edit]Dmehta81, Can you clarify what are the differences in these: Satsang centres, Youth Group Centres and Divine Touch Centres? So we can add it. For now, I have changed the section title to Spiritual career but Spiritual is vague term to be applied here. What activities are spiritual and what is not? So career was a better title which includes all type of his activities. Note that Early life and Career sections are almost equal in size now. We should balance the sections and should not add too much in Early life section even if we have sources on it. If we can add more on his Career from reliable third party sources, we can trim Mission activities also. We should avoid sources published by the Mission itself. Can you find a better source for Gandhi Seva Medal? If it is not covered elsewhere, the Medal itself is not notable enough. You can further discuss the issues related to article here.-Nizil (talk) 12:46, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
- Dmehta81, someone objected for primary sources recently. Can you find a better source for Gandhi Seva Medal? It is last primary source. Regards,-Nizil (talk) 13:26, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
Instagram ref edit
[edit]82.25.85.99, you have added
Dr Jhaveri is addressed 'The Divine', 'His Divine Majesty', 'The Lord', 'Master' and 'Him' by his devotees.[1] [2]
- Those instagram posts refer him as you mentioned but they are primary sources. We need third party secondary sources. It also violates WP:NPOV because it is not neutral addition and want to paint a subject as an important divine subject. Your addition also borders on the original research and it is not allowed as per Wikipedia:No original research. That addition does not add anything important or useful information either. Please do not keep adding it again and again. Please discuss it here before adding it again. Regards,-Nizil (talk) 04:47, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- You can reply by clicking [edit source] above.-Nizil (talk) 04:54, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
