[edit]Philosophy of Life should be merged with this entry. --Ben Best (talk) 21:31, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- Most of this article is about the notion of a 'personal philosophy' or about what is already covered in the article Meaning of life. It has very little to do with Lebensphilosophie and arguably should not even exist. Oeqtte[t] 12:38, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
- Closing, given the uncontested objection with stale discussion. Klbrain (talk) 15:42, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
Heidegger was not an existentialist
[edit]This article says that atheistic existentialism is best exemplified by Nietzsche, Jean-Paul Sartre and Martin Heidegger. This is confusing, as Heidegger himself denied that he was an existentialist, although his philosophy often gets associated with this school of philosophy. It could also be pointed out that although Heidegger's philosophy was atheistic, Heidegger rejected the label "atheist" to describe his philosophy. Vorbee (talk) 17:50, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
