why only Orthodoxy?

At least one Catholic site uses the phrase "new martyrs" - see The New Martyrs of Russia Any problem with this being alluded to? something along the lines of "(the phrase is also sometimes used by the Greek Catholic Churches)"--Richardson mcphillips (talk) 04:19, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It's a term that does not appear to be in general use within the Catholic Church, either officially or informally. I don't think that is an official website. If RS evidence can be found that the term is used by the CC in a formal capacity, or is widely used informally, I would be fine with adding that. -Ad Orientem (talk) 04:26, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
