Move neutral second and neutral seventh to new articles

[edit]

I propose to move the neutral second and neutral seventh sections to new articles in the same way as the neutral third and neutral sixth. --kupirijo (talk) 07:37, 19 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

List of steps of 17-, 24-, and 31-EDO intervals

[edit]

Just like what I mentioned here, the system of neutral intervals works for , or .

Rank of intervals
Degree Diminished Subminor Minor Perfect/Neutral Major Supermajor Augmented
Unison/Octave -7 -10.5 -3.5 0 3.5 10.5 7
Second -12 -8.5 -5 -1.5 2 5.5 9
Third -10 -6.5 -3 0.5 4 7.5 11
Fourth -8 -11.5 -4.5 -1 2.5 9.5 6
Fifth -6 -9.5 -2.5 1 4.5 11.5 8
Sixth -11 -7.5 -4 -0.5 3 6.5 10
Seventh -9 -5.5 -2 1.5 5 8.5 12

Major intervals are always 1 step wider than perfect/neutral intervals, while minor intervals are always 1 step narrower than perfect/neutral intervals.

Supermajor intervals are always 5 steps wider than diminished intervals, while subminor intervals are always 5 steps narrower than augmented intervals.
