Moscow Financial and Industrial UniversityMoscow Financial and Industrial University «Synergy» – I'm making this request on behalf of the new user SienceWrld (talk · contribs) who asked me for help on my talk page [1]. SienceWrld claims that this is now the correct name for this institute. I personally don't have an opinion on the matter, but I will note that the German, Spanish, Italian, Turkish and Russian Wikipedias either call it Moscow Financial and Industrial University «Synergy» (properly translated) or simply Synergy University. Thank you very much! I wouldn't have figured out how to rename the article myself. You are absolutely right, Synergy University is an abbreviated name. Full name Moscow Financial and Industrial University «Synergy».
Please look at this article in Russian:

In all sources, the university is referred to by its full name: Moscow Financial and Industrial University «Synergy» SienceWrld (talk) 20:56, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! I am the author of this article. When it was created, the abbreviated name of the university - Synergy University - was blocked by Wikipedia because there is another university with the same name. Therefore, I could not write the full name when creating the article.
The article needs to be renamed and given the full name: Moscow Financial and Industrial University «Synergy» Andrea Expert (talk) 08:28, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Weak oppose – in general, Wikipedia's article title policy says to avoid quotation marks (or guillemets). Other-language versions of Wikipedia may have different policies, so we shouldn't necessarily copy their approach. Article titles shouldn't always match official names, so that's not enough of a reason to move the article either. I tried to find a policy-backed reason for the move myself, but the article doesn't cite any English-language sources – this is permitted, but it does make it harder to determine what an article's title should be.
I plan to come back to this later, but for now I haven't seen a strong reason to go against the default practice of avoiding guillemets. jlwoodwa (talk) 04:23, 29 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
